Needs support from EA. It's just not the same for me without Road Rash, Desert Strike, EA Hockey, Madden'92 and Bulls vs. Lakers. OK maybe just Road Rash would do it.
Ahh! Truly sensational. For myself and so many others, Goldeneye wasn't a game, it was a sport. Such great friends were forged through playing 007 Goldeneye.
@Ooccoo_Jr I completed Other M 100%. Was her relationship with Adam Malkovich weird? Yes. Were the cut scenes awkward? Yes . Was it dumb the way powers were unlocked for her? Yes. Was it as good as Metroid Prime 3? No way! But it was still a good game in my opinion, and I enjoyed playing it.
@johnvboy I would just like to be able to import my VC games. I think that’s fair. Honestly, when I bought them on the Wii, I thought they would continue to be accessible on future Nintendo hardware. I don’t want Nintendo curating what VC games I have access to, then for them to disappear if my subscription lapses or the service is discontinued for whatever reason.
I don’t want any of this. I played NES back in the day and have revisited the good games enough times. Also, the vast majority of kids today couldn’t care less about old games. Honestly, I would hardly play SNES games either.
@Antraxx777 yeah it’s a shame because there is a lot to like about RDR2, but it’s just not that fun to play IMO. I think they should have really tried to improve the controls and the way you interact with things in the world.
It’s amazing to me they can get away with milking the same games again and again. I bought most of these games already on the Wii, then there was the 3DS ambassador, Wii U and NES Mini as well, now they’re using them again to sell an online service for the Switch. They don’t even add achievements!
This game is really good with 2 players. It's even a game you can play with someone who doesn't have much skill as you can help them a lot. It's a really nice coop game.
I don't think Wii owners are stupid. The typical wii owner owns: Wii Sports, Mario Kart, Wii Fit, Super Mario Galaxy and Zelda Twillight Princess. These are some of the greatest and most innovative video games ever made.
When all is said and done Excitebots is basically a bit gay... But its still better than any motostorm game
To be honest the name Excitebots sounds a bit crap and it does look quite generic. Also a lot of the reviews stated that much of the tracks were simply ripped from Excitetruck. So why buy the game if it seems that it is just a jazzed up excite truck? Thats how i feel about it anyway. Excitetruck was lots of fun for a few sessions but lacked longevity and I get the impression it would be the same for Excitebots.
I do want another racer for my Wii other than my much beloved Mario Kart, but what i I really want is a more serious racing sim, not Excitebots. That is how Nintendo would get top dollar out of me, a racing sim to complement my excellant kart game.
I also don't get My Aquarium either, but I kind of want to burn 500 points on it just to find out what the big attraction is. I was also checking out the vgchartz website, which lists the sales figures for wiiware and found out that dr. Mario was the biggest money maker, so I'm not suprised that it continues to enjoy success.
I do slightly miss the focus on the Virtual Console and Wiiware on their own distinct sites as sometimes I like to get hyped about one or the other and ignore everything else. But other than that NintendoLife is perfect for me and I particulary appreciate the clean cut design that you carried over from before. Happy Birthday WiiWare World and long live NintendoLife
I still don't know whether to get this or not. I wish Drake had of done the review, I find his reviews more informative. I guess I'm gonna wait for some gamer's comments.
Yes, difficulty is subjective and depends on how much you like the game. For example my girlfriend can finish Dr Mario on the hardest settings (till level 20), where as I can't and really I can't be bothered too. Whereas it was a breeze for me to collect 120 on Mario Glaxay and she struggles to collect 5. It really depends on how the game motivates you.
Phantom Hourglass didn't motivate me to play until too completion even though I new it wouldn't have to been to difficult to manage it, which is wh I'm not holding out much hope for Spirit Tracks.
@i8cookie. One of the mods changed my username. I don't get it either, I'm always whinging on this site, maybe it is meant to be ironic
Regarding 'Zelda', That word doesn't gaurantee quality to me anymore. Although I would love to see a new NON-TOON game I think they should leave the franchise alone for a while and as I say - concentrate on something fresh.
It's time for Nintendo to stop cashing in on it's former fan favourites and make something fresh for the real gamers out there. Phantom Hourglass wasn't anything special and nor will this be. I'll pass.
Sorry I think i was smoking something when i wrote my last comment. It's a good game, try not to be put off by the presentation. The gameplay is fun and thats the main thing. Also I doubt most gamers would find it as easy as the reviewer did so i would ignore that part of the review if i were you.
This game is wicked awesome, it really cheered me up cos the weather where i am is awful. Sir Francis has major skills on this game, if you want proof check out the leaderboards, what a geek;-). Thats why he only gave it 7/10 ha ha
Great Review! I think for 1000 points it sounds like a really solid game. I'm sure I'll get some good value out of it and I would love to see more platformers on WiiWare so I'm gonna support this. Wiiware shouldn't just be for wacky new ideas, I'm glad Hudson are bringing us more traditional games like this for the service.
Thtas a shame. I really want a definitive FPS experience with online for Wii. I've held back on COD and MOD for the Conduit. And have even bought Wii Speak partly in anticipation for this one.
What I don't understand is why Starfox was given a complete makeover for Starfox Adventures and then totally forgotten about afterwards, like it never existed. I mean I thought that staff kicked ass so why couldn't he keep it? In Super Smash Bros. Brawl he has some almost defective laser gun that hardly does anything. I think his character has been messed up.
I agree that Phantom Hourglass was a major dissapointment and I was really gutted when they announced Spirit Tracks! I was hoping that the Zelda team were working on a sequel to Twillight Princess not more toon Link. To be honest, I really don't see why people like the toon style...
I don't think Ocarina or Majoras Mask are the pinnacle of the series, in my eyes Twilight Princess is the pinnacle of the Zelda series and the greatest game ever made, even though Ocarina was more revolutionary for it's time.
I skipped Majoras Mask first time round cos I couldn't get used to the time constraints. For me Zelda is all about living and breathing the experience; allowing yourself the space and time to stop to smell the flowers.
Having said that, based on this review I might give it another try, maybe I was to quick to judge before.
Ok, because I imagined that final scores would be run past the 'lords that be' before being posted. That would rule out the possibility of us fans being misled by extreme opinions and so on.
Also is there a way of checking latest comments for all games? Because I really liked this tool on WWW and VCR
@Nanaki. So the score only represents the personal opinion of the reviewer, it does not reflect a consensus opinion of all you guys? Is this true for all reviews?

Re: Talking Point: How Do You Feel About The Metroid Prime 4 Delay?
I'm disappointed. Announcing a game with just a title screen is amateur hour. The video apology is pathetic. I expect better from Nintendo.

Re: Rumour: Burnout Paradise Gets Rated For Switch Release In Brazil
@AG_Awesome It set the blueprint for open world racers, and hasn't really been bettered or built upon that much.
Re: Rumour: Burnout Paradise Gets Rated For Switch Release In Brazil
I wonder if they can still use the license for Paradise City, and more importantly that Avril Levigne song.
Re: Video: Hackers Bring Nintendo 64 To The NES Classic Edition
