Now listen carefully Nintendo, I don't care what you're saying, but at least you have the DECENCY to delay Star Fox Zero to improve it. So that game is the last chance I give you. If that game fails as well, I swear to god that I'll close forever with you and the videogames in general FOREVER........ but you know what? For many months after the E3 I blamed Nintendo fro having become bad as much as the 95% of developer have (indie included) but I actually shouldn't blame Nintendo for this. Activision and Electronic Arts.... to me THEY are the real responsable of the degrade of the videogame world. With their stupid COD and FIFA they earned so much money and they realized that they should stop making quality games when using the same game every year give them a lot more money..... in the end many other software houses did this (see for example Sony with PS4, that is doing so many remastereds and just a few quality games) and in the end Nintendo didn't resist to this, and fallen into this category as well.... (see the DISASTERS of the new Chibi Robo and the new Zelda games on the 3ds......). So yeah, many people are mad to Nintendo because it became bad, and I was one of those as well... but in the end, were Activision and EA with their commercial s**** that put an end to the videogame world we knew..... now only a garbage world full of commercial c*** exists..... I'll buy the few new indie games, and the few Nintendo games I missed in those years in the next year, afterward..... I'll quit with modern videogames, and I'll replay that 150 and more good games I got in 16 years over and over again, for the rest of my life. It might sound like an extremist decision, but I prefer replaying old good games, than playing new forgettable games..... I don't need lectures for this...
It's great they finally decided to drop the price of the games (wondering if Kimishima has to do with this), but I'd wish they choose better games at the next wave. Of this one, Zelda A Link between Worlds and Star Fox 64 are the only worthy ones, the rest are really forgettable titles....
Like I said in the topic, I WANTED it getting delayed. All I care, is that this game will be good, and if it wouldn't have been delayed, then it wouldn't have shined as I wanted. Now that Platinum got more time to make it, it has its chance.
@Simbabbad Well, it's pretty much an "infinite" game, its success it's pretty much understandeable. I'm having hours and hours of fun with this game in those days, and seeing this unexpected success, it might be the unexpected Killer Application Wii U needed, but I've to wait this Christmas to have a confirmation for it.
I trust you Kimishima, you definitely have the right requirements to be the president of this company. The videogame world is on the verge of collapse (qualitatively speaking, outside Nintendo and some Indies now the 90% of the videogames world is made of FPS and other forgettable titles.... UGH), you're our only hope man.
@Tsuchinoko I don't need insurances, I know how I feel. I just know that that man two months ago DESTROYED something I loved for over a decade, and the fact that he's now dead doesn't change this at all. Now that he's out of the way however Nintendo has the chance to return to its former glory, but not before all the last stupid decisions Iwata made before dying will be released this year. I'm just mad that now because that man we'll have to wait minimum another half decade for a TRUE new Star Fox game and/or a TRUE new Metroid...
@Tsuchinoko No, I'm the only victim here. The last E3 brought me to a deep depression because with that abomination, Iwata pratically not only killed Nintendo but also completely destroyed the last hope I had for the videogame world as for today. I'm not capable to enjoy modern videogames because being extremely sensitive and anxious seeing cutted heads or something like that it's extremely disturbing to me, that's why I gave all my hopes to Nintendo in the latest years, and as much I agreed with many people that Iwata had bad marketing policies, I didn't care much because at least those didn't influenced the quality of the games.... until the E3 2015 where they did.... after that day I started to feed a deep hate for Iwata, and I've fallen into a depression that make me felt bad for other things. I've already enough problems in my life, and if someone strips to me even one of the few things that makes me happy my reaction is pretty much normal... I wanted Iwata out of the way since that day, that was the only hope Nintendo had to reborn, but investors continued to give him their trust so I realized that was a lost cause, and I gave up all my hopes.... and then a few days later... Iwata died. It wasn't really my idea of him "getting out of the way" yes, but at least as much as I didn't wanted him dead, I can still see the glass a bit full, and now Nintendo has finally a chance of reborn..... but before, we have to get rid of all the atrocities that man approved and were shown during the last E3.
I hope 2015 passes as quick as possible so we'll get rid of the last bunch of this idiotic decisions Iwata made, and then a new age for Nintendo will begin...
Well there's no doubt that both Shovel Knight and Professor Layton (rumoured a few days ago) are really popular characters and they somewhat deserve to be in Smash, but honestly, I'd have preferred something else than them (Wonder Red and Bayonetta to be precised)..... oh well.
It's about time for goodness sake! I can't believe it took more than 20 years to finally give to this cute green dinosaur another masterpiece... I mean the three games between the first Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Woolly World are TERRIBLE (oh man, the DS one to be fair is still a decent game actually, but the other two...... UGH....), especially if I think how wonderful the first one was (althought, I think the GBA version is superior in every aspect).
There are several deserving games that didn't make the cut just because they didn't get an 85+ avarage score on Metacritic (Kid Icarus Uprising, The wonderful 101, Donkey Kong Countr Tropical Freeze and even New Super Mario Bros U), and many of them BARELY didn't reach that score..... how sad....
I'd never ever ever agree more about the first position, I HATE THE FIFTH GENERATION, I never digested it, it's my least favorite generation, and to me almost killed the Pokemon franchise if it wasn't for the 6th generation and the megaevolutions.
Yeah, the games are terribly awful but I really like the show. Right after My Little Pony, Wander Over Yander, Littlest Pet Shop and Adventure Time is the recent cartoon that I like more, it's really really funny....... it's such a shame that the games didn't get the same treatment....
@Yorumi Well.... data corruption happens when well... you turn off while you're saving, so it's not really a "bug". About the console bricking, I guess it must be effectively something else.... keep in your mind however that this game save file is a lot bigger than other games', so I wouldn't exclude that it could be that the problem. Follow my advice and I'm sure nothing bad will happen.
For what I've heard, actually, it's not a bug, but data corruption: many users must have turned off the console while the game was saving (The game has automatic save) and people didn't noticed that. I've heard that some users got it after turning off the game right after completing a Master Order or a Crazy Order, so it must be that the problem. The better things to do to avoid this are: 1)Avoid to play For Glory (unlike the For Fun mode, it saves the results); 2)NEVER turn off the console while you're playing the game, but open the Home menu, close the game from it and when you return to the Wii U Menu THEN turn off.
The sales don't make good a console. The Wii U is the Gamecube on steroids: better games, but worse sales. I give it a B+ so far, and I'm pretty sure it'll become an A- with Smash Bros next week.
Uhm.... My main and only worry for this game is that seems too easy judging from the stages that have been shown. Didn't any of you got that feeling too?
How I hate the people that say that Brawl is a bad game. The fact that it has not the same gameplay of Melee doesn't make it a BAD game objectively talking. More casual oriented? Maybe. Bad game? NO.
This article is the proof that Sony and Nintendo never meant to cause that stupid console war that is destrying the internet. Are fans that have become total idiots, what a shame.
THAT IS TRULY AMA- (wait, hold on now, do it professionally)...
Uhm, well it looks very nice but.... WAIT THIS GAME IS FOR WII U?! BUT IS INCRE- (stop! Remember? Professionally)...
Overall is..... OH FORGET IT. This was really AWESOME. I can't believe i've doubted for this game in the past months. Now I've no more doubts. I'll buy it at the day one!
@Caryslan But can I know what's the matter in you? What's the matter with ALL of you?! Why all you want Nintendo dead after all the things it made for over 30 years to us?!
@Hy8gen: also.... Sony is publishing it's console pratically making fool of the people. I'm italian and in my country I found a commercial for Infamous that says (I traduce in english for you) "The best games are only on Playstation 4"...... seriously Sony? Your console has only 3 exclusives for now, two bad and one only ok, and you make a commercial like that? And the sad thing is that people believe it and they really buy the console.... poor world....
Saint words. Also (for now) despite the low sales, Wii U has more quality games (New Super Mario Bros U+New Super Luigi U, Pikmin 3, Super Mario 3d World, Wonderful 101, Zelda Wind Waker HD and Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze) than PS4 and Xbox One (The only DECENT exclusive, PS4 has for now is Infamous and is even worse than the predecessor, while Xbox One for now has only Titanfall). And also, considering that the two console haven't retrocompatibilty with the predecessors' games while Wii U has it, I'm actually really surprised that they're selling more than Wii U (actually One, is not going so strong, PS4 on the other hand), those two systems are ridicously overrated....
Guys.... can you explain me how the hell is possible that despite the colossal sales of the 3ds and its titles in 2013 (expecially compared to all the others consoles in sale) Nintendo registered a loss.... for the second time in a row?
Excellent job Nintendo! You're going to win! If Bravely Default will have a score superior to 8, I can say that Nintendo has conclused it's 2013 with a huge FLAWLESS VICTORY!
Oh no no no no no no no no! This is bad!
Rayman and Splinter Cell are two of the few games that can be still called GAMES! It's a shame that they have been overshadowed by poopoodoodoopoopsiecacadoggiepoop commercially games like COD or AC... Watch the profanity please — TBD

WTF? 2013 has been a great year for the 3DS so far, now with Zelda, Pokemon and Phoenix Wright is getting SO MUCH BETTER?! Wow! If only MH4 would come here soon too....
