@sinalefa Scalebound has me drooling...I've even considered selling my PS4 so that I can buy an X1 mostly for that single game. I'm completely mad like that.

I would really love to see this game on Wii U but I'll take it on 3DS. It's better than not getting the game at all after all. Put all ur effort into making an excellent game for one system...and then later after it sells millions of units make an HD port on Wii U and catch those double-dippers.

@NintyLifer hahaha! Take that u wii u whiners 3DS is the best! It's way more powerful than that last gen toaster u call a console! I'm glad that they can focus on the 3DS version and the wii u's specs won't be holding them back.

@Will-75 exchange 'good' with 'games that appeal to him'. The vita and 3ds have drastically different libraries that appeal to different kinds of people.

My only concern with this is that if they are willing to add power to the 3DS and make games only playable on the 'new' model will they do the same to the Wii U down the road? I hope not, handhelds are a little different than home consoles since most people expect to own a home console for 5-6 or more years and releasing a more powerful version of the U would with exclusive games would definitely cause problems.

Metroid, Twilight Princess, or Xenoblade Chronicles (would be good for those who want to experience it before X comes out) would be my top picks.

@Blaze Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, TLOU Remastered, Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition, RE REmake remake for crying out loud. The Wii U suffered from a year full of last gen ports just like the ps4 is getting its share of them in its first year.
I agree next year looks like a great year to be a gamer on any console.

@hydeks Yeah my ps4 is coated in dust! So much so that I'm gonna need a shovel to dig it out...maybe I've been playing too much Shovel Knight...

I think I'll just use a pro controller or more likely the gamepad. I'm not too big on the adapter at this point but if gcn games start hitting vc I'll pick one up. I already have a couple controllers still laying around.

@Grumblevolcano except the wii u uses flash memory and doesn't even have a hdd. If nintendo had included more flash memory the wii u would cost way too much.

MH3U was my first experience with the series and I gotta say it blew me away with how deep it is. As much as I love MK8 and Tropical Freeze, Monster Hunter takes my #1 spot. Can't wait for MH4!

@marko I own both but I'm holding out for the Wii U version of Watch Dogs. I'll buy it for Wii U but if it turns out to be a buggy port that doesn't use the gamepad in some unique way I'll buy the PS4 version used.

@ZeroZX_Dev I'm with you on that. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting playing pokemon on my original GBA and I was amazed at how good the graphics were. I'm still a sucker for SNES/GBA style graphics. The Minish Cap was one game I never picked up, though I'm thinking of buying it for my (still working) GBA. Still a little sketched about buying digital with it being locked to one console.

@Iggly Thanks for pointing that out...now its all I notice when I look at them. That really does make them look awkward.

@ZeroZX_Dev A couple of weeks??? I thought most schools got out in early May? Anyways, I'm 20 and I know exactly how you feel. It's crazy that I can feel nostalgic every time one of these GBA titles is released.

@unrandomsam I meant most of Sony's other product lines aren't bringing them much of a profit. I'm not too worried about Sony though...seems Kaz has a plan to get them back on track and what he's done so far looks promising. Just have to wait and see. Iwata on the other hand has me slightly worried...not that I think I could do a better job I just don't agree with the way he is handling things right now. Of course I don't know exactly what his ideas are and that's what has me worried.

Sounds like a solid business decision. Both Microsoft and Sony have other sources of income besides their video game branches to support them in hard times. Well Sony not so much but definitely Microsoft.

Remake of the first game I ever owned and beat? Count me in!

Lower the budget by only making it for Wii U or 3DS. Less competition in this genre on those two systems so you'll have better sales as well.

A Link to the Past and Tropical Freeze while I wait for my 3DS XL to arrive in the mail. After it gets here I'll be playing A Link Between Worlds non-stop.

Voted Golden Sun but just remembered the cartridge is still in my gba so I'll just play it on that....so maybe F-Zero for me...

@Daisaku36 I bought the basic when it was $300 right before the price cut of the Deluxe and I still think it was worth every penny.

@shigulicious Castlevania is Konami? I agree a Collection of those games would be epic tho.

I'd love to see the X series and Zero series all on a single disc. It would save me the trouble of tracking down the X collection for my Cube and Zero Collection for my 3DS.

@FullbringIchigo Ubisoft knows how to use it better than Nintendo imo. Rayman Legends and ZombiU are two games that really show what the gamepad can do.

Soundtracks, wallpapers for cell phones and computers, ringtones, message tones, there is so much money to be made but I can imagine that Ninty would need the permission of the composers that were hired before they would be able to release that stuff and the composers would naturally get the lion's share of the profits since it's their work could just be a pain in the rear for Ninty in the end.

@FireHorsePrime I'd love to see one of these small indie developers become big because of a game they made for a Nintendo console! Nintendo needs a new Rare. Retro and Monolith are great and if Platinum keeps up the support the Wii U will definitely have some awesome games ahead of it. But if a few of these awesome indie developers see success and start making exclusives for the Wii U as well, it could become the must-have console this gen.

Sapphire was the first pokemon game I ever owned...actually it's the game that really got me into gaming. I definitely have a special place in my heart for these two games so I'll be downloading the soundtrack for sure.

Luigi's Mansion HD remake? I mean they did extend the year of Luigi...

Also DS VC games on Wii U? Maybe they are going to release one or two after the broadcast?

Something on this new ''Quality of Life'' thing being announced maybe? Not sure if a Direct would be the place to announce it but maybe a possibility?

Maybe it's a feature that will be added to X&Y (via update or DLC) since GameFreak is involved and they usually deal with the main series only.

@mch I'm just complaining about all the bad financial news that we've been hit with here recently...if I were nintendo I would be trying to cover some of the bad press with good press. I completely agree that nintendolife should cover financial news on nintendo but I'm tired of all the negative press I guess. However, this technically isn't a bad financial move by Ninty so my comment doesn't really pertain to this specific article.

The only Shin'nen game I've played is Nano Assault Neo on Wii U but I can say it's addicting and beautiful. Fast Racing Neo will be a day one purchase for me. I really wish Nintendo would let Shin'nen develop a F-Zero game for them.

And for you guys saying Nintendo needs to buy Western developers...I'll only support it if they buy EA and shut them down and then buy Activision and make COD an exclusive.

@JaxonH I ordered through Amazon and it says it's temporarily out of stock but will be shipped when it becomes available...I'm kinda worried now knowing not many were printed. I'll just wait patiently and hope that they get some copies back in stock.
