I've had Xenoblade Chronicles since it first came out and I'm just now getting around to playing it. Excellent game now that I've finally figured out the combat and I'm not getting my behind handed to me. Also probably play some Pokemon X since I have my full Kalos team finally put together.
@FilmerNgameR I'm selling my original to a good friend...don't really need two of them. It was tough for me to pick which one to keep honestly the original is just so nice to look at but ultimately those bigger screens won out. The XL also seems to fit my hands quite nicely which is also a big win in my book. Just wish they had upped the resolution for the bigger screens but it's a minor complaint. And no more fingerprints! As beautiful as the original is the thing is a fingerprint magnet!
I would love a return to the single screen gameboys of the past but then again I tried playing my SP the other day (my favorite handheld of all time) and it just didn't feel right without the touch screen.
Nothing for me as I'm looking to upgrade from my basic wii u to the deluxe model soon. Gotta save up some cash first though so that means a self-inflicted game drought.
@HappyHappyist Still have not played this game but really? If the dungeons are short and you only need to use one or two items to get through them how is this even considered a decent Zelda game??? The dungeons are the main appeal to me and figuring out ways to use each and every one of ur available items to get through them is what makes the games fun! I guess it makes sense tho for a handheld title...they made it that way so it would be easy to pick up and play for a few minutes. I'll be seriously upset if this carries over into the console version tho...
I like the DK games much more than 2D Mario games (I just can't get used to 2D mario physics). So a 3D DK game would definitely be something I would watch...it'd be tough to beat the galaxy games tho...those are masterpieces. I'd love to see a new Metroid soon too, 2D or 3D wouldn't matter to me as long as they kept the story a la Other M out of it...
Definitely my indie goty. I recommend it for anyone who likes to explore in video games and enjoys puzzles. The best way I can describe this game is it's Metroid where you can't fight back against the enemies and must avoid them. @shanoboy swearing, ''adult topics'' (religious ideas). But seriously fairies swearing and threatening to beat people is pretty funny when you think about it. I wouldn't consider it an M rated game but then again I'm only about half way through the last chapter.
@Hernandez Agreed. DKCR is one of the best platformers I've ever played. And seeing how expansive and beautiful Xenoblade was on the wii I'm really excited to see how X turns out.
Definitely X and Donkey Kong for me. X definitely looks ambitious tho and unless they've been working on it since they got done with Xenoblade I expect it to be released late this year or possibly even next year.
@donkeykong64 That game has really gotten some mixed reviews. I wanna buy it but I'm still on the fence. This list makes me think either NintendoLife is full of sonic fans or the game is actually enjoyable.
@Frapp A top 5 or even an end of the year top 10 for each system would be great. Really happy to see Fire Emblem as it is one of my favorite franchises. I picked up MH3U when I first got my Wii U and can say that it also deserves the praise. I had to sell that game due to some money issues and have yet to pick it up again due to the amount of awesome games coming out that I want to play.
Surprised no one has mentioned that mystery pokemon footage yet. Or that Pikachu detective game. I wonder if anything for that will be announced? I'm personally hoping for X footage or even a release date and some new MK8 footage. At least I know one of those almost has to happen lol
@Wonder_Mask I really like Raymans art style, but to each his own I suppose. @unrandomsam it just seems like Ubisoft sets its sales goals way too high and then punishes the consumer because said goals aren't reached.
@unrandomsam I was just talking about the iPhone. Finding decent games in there is next to impossible and when you finally do find one your battery is probably about dead lol. Don't get me wrong. I have an iPhone and I wouldn't own any other kind of phone, but as a gaming device it isn't even in the same league as a dedicated handheld gaming console.
Maybe if the iPhone's battery lasted a little longer than 30 mins while playing a game this could be successful. And that's ignoring the fact that 90% of iOS games are iap filled trash.

@Nintendo_Ninja I didn't mind the Earth Temple in that game but the Wind Temple I absolutely hated!

@FilmerNgameR I own both and I love the XL but in my opinion the original has a much better paint job.

@FilmerNgameR The original 3DS makes the XL look like a cheap plastic toy...
