@LillianC14 If I remember correctly from the Vita version, you can keep the characters flat instead of using the booby training, so I don't think you would need to see the boobs in the game if you don't wish to.

@AW1Long The game atleast have female voice actresses, dunno how many of the devs are female but there are no reason to assume they are not ok just because they are working on a amazing game

@PBandSmelly I know about Vivian, just wondered about Birdo because I have heard it before, never seen anything about the Birdos in modern games mentioned by Nintendo.

Its a species like Yoshi or Toad, we know in Doki doki panic / Mario 2 they were male and thinking they were female, but that was from what I can gather only in the English manual?
For all we know the one in current games are not trans.

Not saying you are wrong, just asking where Nintendo said its actually canon.

Funny games I think should be on the list:
Gal gun games, those have hillarious writing.
The Ace Attorney games.
Our world is ended.

My opionions on some of the games already on the list:
Wario and Octodad are brilliant.
Goose is charming but not something that made me laugh.
Thimbleweed park is hillarious once you learn whats actually going on, before that it was ok I guess. The ending saved that game.
Undertale is cute. Lot of charming and likeable characters, but the jokes were not particulary funny, except for Papyrus.

Not hyped. Lost me at Hyper light drifter, Anita Sarkeesian was in the credits for that game.

@Tom-Massey Maybe you don't intend to use that to make fun of fans of ecchi games, but others will. And in a world were gamers who enjoy this type of fanservice is marginalized, and where there are people very vocal about wanting said fanservice gone, its not entertaining to see us being called hikikomori. You don't need to like the game, but perhaps save the insults?

While the idea of an anti-dating sim sounds fun, I'm not sold on the artstyle. Would have prefered it with more fanservice myself.

@nessisonett Because there are people interested in their games? Personaly I only care about Crash and Spyro, but Activision and Blizzard still have very popular IPs.

I probably would replace Celeste with Cave story. That game has amazing music and deserve to be on the list.

@QueenofNerds I have no issue saying I like ecchi games.

I know women like games, and they can like whatever type of games and characters they want, but a game having fanservice does not make it bad or shovelware just because someone does not like them.
Just like games are not bad just because I don't like them.

@Kochambra I brought up Dream Daddy more as if it is bothersom that Gal gun for not being for everyone, Dream daddy is also not for everyone. Not that the content is exactly the same.

@Rosalinho Bishoujo is one of the most under appreachiated game genres you can find, especially ecchi games, so those who do like them tends to naturally be a bit defensive.

As long as I can turn off rumble features to not disturb other people I have zero issues playing ecchi games in public.
And you don't have to be a hikkamori to like it. I'm a normal guy, who happen to like ecchi games, and the Gal gun games are great fun.

@CharlieGirl Its not necessary they thought it fit all gamers, and these games absolutely have heart, the Gal gun games are absolutely hillarious. Would you say, for example Dream daddy (its my 'go to' game for example of games that don't fit me personally) is somehow problematic? Gal gun does not exploit me at all, thank you.

@NoctaireSombras I think they work well, but I abously can't 100% guarantee you like Gal gun's controls.

Yeah Omega labyrinth is also great, I just took some games and made a list, never ment that I feel those were the only good ones.

The Senran Kagura games are super good. (Thought Reflexions is probably only good if one of the girls in that game is one of your waifus)

The Gal gun games are great, Gun gun pixies is good, SNK Heroines tag team frenzy and, Dead or alive xtreme 3 are also really good

Valkyrie drive Bhikkhuni is on Steam (I have the Vita version) is amazing!

@nessisonett No, not kusoge. I meant galge, or bishoujo games if you prefer. Bishoujo games are far too often unjustly tainted in a bad light despite a lot of them are actually good.

Not a fan of the artstyle of the artwork, but the game looks decent so might check it out.

@nessisonett That "booby shovelware" as you put it, with a few rare exceptions tends to actually not be shovelware but enjoyable. No need to drag down a genre just because you don't like it yourself.

I saw a movie on TV once with descriptive audio, that might just have been a bad one, but it was a complete mood breaker.

I can see it work for trailers, but games themself? Ehh, not really? It could really turn into a lot more annoying version of Navi. You would need the time to listen to the audio and then react, how would that work later in games unless you turn down the difficulity by a huge margin?

@RadioHedgeFund Yeah there is a line, and this game is perfectly within the line of acceptable. People er perfectly able to both enjoy ecchi games and interacting with other people.

I'm sure the people who find this game problematic would find it just as problematic if it included dudes, so atleast its just half the problem right? AndI'm also certain there are people who would want a game like this with dudes, but if no devs want to make it, they should not be forced.

Well, its just as much a celebration as if the girls were made to be uglier 🤷‍♂️ And no, games like these are absolutely not more abusive than games with strong violence. Neither are necessary abusive or problematic.

Same people when someone mocks ecchi games: (Nowhere to be found unless they themself participate in said mocking)

Well deserved, Smash Ultimate is one of the best games released by Nintendo, he is phenomenal

Technically an dungeon crawler so this is kinda cheating, but Mary Skelter Finale practically includes the first two games as VNs, as it has all the dialog without the gameplay. And its a really good game too

I don't belive the difficulity setting needs to be changeable in all games, not every game 'need' to be for everyone. Some games are hard, some are easy. At worst, maybe add the kinda save function Virtual Console games have maybe.

Out of these, the only one I personaly use as a accessibility thing would be button mapping.

I do custmize characters, but that has nothing to with making the game more playable, its more for fun for me.

I prefer to have audio in the original language and actual subtitles, not dubtitles. They can include a dub if they want to, but please let me set the audio to Japanese BEFORE I start the main game.

@somebread I can't say I remember that actually, but a good chunk of them are actually great and funny so atleast it fits

This has to be one of, if not the, least sexy game I have seen marketed as sexy, with female characters.

@nhSnork From just a quick google search, there seems to be atleast one GBC game thats aviable both in Japanese and English from what I can tell. And a Japan exclusive DS game.

They should do a Donkey Kong set, levels from the first Donkey Kong arcade game would actually fit lego

@PBandSmelly No it may not. Confusing ecchi content with porn just blurs the lines even more and makes it easier for bad people who hates fanservice to get it censored. There are even eroges out there that should not be classified as porn and would not have been if they were not made in Japan. If its not nukige it should not be considered porn.
