The Switch needs to be well under £200 here in the UK. Otherwise it's just going to be DOA. Factor in a game or two and it's reaching almost £300 and beyond.

Very few will pay a couple of hundred quid just to play Nintendo games.

Message to Wii U only owners, get on a proper platform or miss out. Simple as...

The NX will be DOA at that price in the UK. It's needs to be priced as an impulse purchase. Anything more than £150 and it won't be a success.

It's Nintendo, they don't learn from anything...

The Wii U is a turd of a console. It didn't even get the basics right. No wonder it sold poorly.

This was merely done from a PR standpoint. It's the least they could do judging from the way they've treated their fans lately.

Nintendo need to price the NX between £100/150 here in the UK, due to the fact that no one outside the hardcore Nintendo fan is going to drop £200+ just to play a few Nintendo games.

The NX needs to be priced so it can be an impulse purchase. The cheaper, the better. It's the only way Nintendo will get mobile gamers to purchase the system. Otherwise it's just going to be DOA if it's expensive.

This is just the start of the firm going 3rd party and ditching the hardware market. The system after the NX will be their swan song.

They have said this at every console launch since the Gamecube. Nintendo are a company that never learn. Plus some of the BS they pull with regards to their products and business decisions is really unforgivable. It's a new board they need as well as the new system as the current lot in charge are nothing but a bunch incompetents.

I hope the NX bombs, then they'll finally wake up and go 3rd party only and release their games on PC/PS/Xbox/Mobile/Tablets, hardware that customers want to buy.

Nintendo should just show the NX now as this site is scraping the barrel with regards to content.

Can't ever trust reviews written on this site. It's like most of the content was written by Nintendo themselves.

There is barely an honest critique of the games reviewed on here, everything seems to be brilliant, especially Nintendo developed titles.

I didn't like the direction Nintendo took with the Wii and Wii U. It's their worst consoles. The last decent Nintendo system for the living room was the Gamecube.

My purchase of the NX is really down to Nintendo, if they continue adding gimmicks just for the sake of being different with no real benefit, then i won't be buying the system.

Amiibo are a con. It's all plastic tat with implemented DLC.

The Wii was a fluke. I think Miyamoto should lay off the crack pipe when he said the Wii U is a good media device.
