Re: It's Official, Monster Hunter Rise Confirmed For Nintendo Switch

Sunanootoko

@TG16_IS_BAE
Not hardcore as DS tbh, quite easy once you get into it. But you'll have to learn the monster patterns and be prepared to face them multiple times since the weapon and armours crafting will require multiple runs.
I won't recommend it if you're going to play it alone (still very fun tho), but in 2 or 3 people will be one of the best co op experiences you can ever have.

Re: Review: Summer In Mara - Alluring Presentation Hides A Fundamentally Flawed Adventure

Sunanootoko

I think that all of you biasing NL for this review are overreacting. I'm an Italian and all the major sites in Italy would never review a game like this. Even the AMAZING Italian version of IGN (really nothing to share with the us and UK counterpart) wouldn't never look into a game like this one. You may agree or disagree with the verdict but NL is one of the few Nintendo sites that are reviewing some bad games as well. Be happy that this website is having you to save some money instead of being angry. Otherwise buy a mediocre game and be happy....

Re: Digimon Survive Has Reportedly Been Delayed Again, This Time Indefinitely

Sunanootoko

All major games, triple A or double A are being delayed because of the virus. Even Last of us 2 is delayed, which was supposed to be the super bomb for the end gen. Open Nintendo life, Ign, GameSpot or any other videogame websites, almost no updates. Because there's no news to write about. Everything is on hold. There's no point for a publisher to release a game if the retailer shops are closed. It's a bloody pandemic, no money to develop no money to buy, simple as it is.

I'm 35, but I still remember when I was younger (20ish) and I was with a friend of mine on the tube. This very cute girl was staring at me and I was playing the shy one. Then she got off at her statio and I jumped out the train right before the doors closed leaving my friend behind. Ended up having a coffee with her and... Nothing but I still remember. If the game will make you live situation like that could be funny even for an old woman/man

Re: Talking Point: Saber Interactive's Latest Witcher 3 Update Sets A New Standard For Switch Ports

Sunanootoko

@nintendoknife
Ok not talking about hacking as for the switch I'm not interested. But my wife and I have vanilla ds and dsi as the regular 3ds and the new. Performance wise they are really really close. Maybe faster loading times and some minor improvements, that's it. What I wanted to point out is that the ds family hardware revisions had a lot of horsepower that was left more or less unused. If Nintendo want to do the same they'll better don't at all. If they'll do an improved version with better resolution and fps with backward compatibility without patches, will be day one. I'm doubtful since this has never been their style.

@westman98
Do not agree honestly. The only successful one was the game boy colour because of the HUGE difference from the original bulky boy (colours). The dsi despite having a considerable boost of ram, had the same game as the vanilla version. The new 3ds had an amazingly improved 3d effect and again more ram, still all we have got with it was the snes games and xenoblade. We do need a mid gen, more capable to cope with the new Sony's and Microsoft consoles, but not like the previous Nintendo's mid gens. If you know what I mean.

@darksquall
Likewise man. I own PS4 and XboxX but since I've got the switch both are back in the box.
I mean, yes, they have some exclusive but for the cross platform it's switch all day long.
Cooking, couch, toilet time it's with me, it's amazing to have a game like the Witcher on the go, and after the update, if you can stand the jaggy lines, it looks incredibly crisp.
I'm now travelling for work and I'm having an amazing time with it. Can you do it with Sony and Microsoft? No. Or not yet

@NotTelevision
Lol and you got downvoted as well.
But thanks for the support. Despite is matter of fact that communism it's ended, I don't see the bias in stating that you support ideas for a more equal society and redistribution through taxes.
Not every country is like the USA, they can be pro capitalism and still apply a socialist view, like Sweden. Anyway, guess many people here should read mort history and economy books

Re: Chinese Giant Tencent Snaps Up 10% Stake In Sumo Digital's Parent Company, Perwyn

Sunanootoko

It is not funny what you are saying, it is salty, and not constructive. We all live in a world that embraced capitalism. Everyone in their own way has to cope with it. A socialist can still play video games because it is fun for him or her, go to shop to Tesco and still try to make the world more equal for everyone.
I just wanted to point out that you said that Tencent is Evil because it iscommunist and Chinese. I agree with you, but not because it is communist, but 'cause it's China's property.
On the 12 hours shift, if you want we can talk about the UK industrial revolution and how children aged 6 were sent to work in factories.
I'm not flaming, but history is real and we all need to learn how to read and live it beyond just propaganda slogan.

Re: Pokémon Sword And Shield's Japanese Launch Event Has Been Canned

Sunanootoko

@Franz
That's bollocks, that's not how the game industry works. They don't make games according to gamer's rants. They make the game. If you like you buy, if not don't. That's it. Is anyone complaining about Kojima's game? He made his freaking game. Do you see people harassing him just cause they don't like his way of seeing games? No. Would be the same for every game. It is not your property, it is the property of another company that is trying to sell you something. If you don't like it just don't buy. Stop acting like it's something that belong to you.
And even using the word Dexit as a callback to the Brexit is disgusting! Brexit is a bloody real thing, it will have serious repercussions on the whole world, 20 Pokemon left away won't.

Ok I've done some researches and you're right, thanks for correcting.
So let's say when in Code Veronica you're in the small graveyard at the beginning and the rotten corpses arise from the ground, it means they were infected for a long time and just wake up when they notice you?

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Delivers Its Verdict On The Witcher 3 On Switch

Sunanootoko

@graysoncharles
Bro I clearly remember some nintendolife previews claiming that.
In case I'm mistaking there's a gamerant article, and on top of that a personal reply from the reviewer of ign.it (Italian version of ign).
She specifically told me in the forum that the loadings are 40% faster. I'm going to ask her again and investigate cause it's a bit confusing.
I'll let you guys know if she replies.
(Can give you all the links, I'm not trying to feed fake news, I'm genuinely puzzled)

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Delivers Its Verdict On The Witcher 3 On Switch

Sunanootoko

Wait wait wait.
I've just asked on ign.it website about the loading times. The reviewer told me that they are 40% faster than ps4 (and it's a news that I've seen on nintendolife as well).
This video is telling me on this very moment that the loading times are 25% slower compared to the ps4.
Can I please understand?
Fast loadings times are vital to me.
Who the hell is not doing their job properly here? Please guys help.

Re: Feature: A Guide To Shopping In Japan's Retro Gaming Paradise, Akihabara

Sunanootoko

I know it's not in Akiba and the stores are usually very far away from the central zones but I lived in Japan many years and I've gotten the best deals at Hard Off, it's book off same company but specialized on hardware. From there I got a Saturn for 50 quid, virtual boy for 100, original Gameboy for 60, donkey Kong jungle beat for 3, famicom top loader for 60, Dreamcast for 30, all boxed.

Re: New Microsoft Controller Patent Sure Does Remind Us Of The Nintendo Switch

Sunanootoko

@RasandeRose
Market is, unfortunately moving in that way.
If you look at the last year market revenue digital games have seen an increase in sales, so did streaming platforms against physical media and cinemas.
It's matter of years when the market will be almost totally in streaming. Maybe not with the 5g, but soon or later we'll see a full conversion.
Imo Gamepass and Psnow are the Troy horses to the streaming switch.
