@Friendly you are totally right, you would expect a new console to out sell an old console, yet the Switch keeps on selling good numbers.

Gonna be playing Goldeneye on the N64 and Guardian heroes on the Sega Saturn…… if I have time I’ll give 1080* Avalanche on the Cube a bash.

Good numbers for 2 weeks roughly 125k for each week and 85k for PS5, 42k for each week roughly.

Great film, even Akuma makes a cameo appearance in it for 2 seconds which a lot of people missed.

@navonod18 I’m just glad I kept my old CRT tv for all the lovely goodness that is the light gun games.

Going retro, with a bit of point blank 1, 2, & 3,
Time Crisis on PS and then bang on the Saturn for a bit of Virtua Cop 1&2.

@Friendly my dad got one just for the DVD player because it was so cheap........ every now and again he would play a game.
I still have my original PS2 and still use it to watch movies and the odd retro gaming.

If I remember correctly it was also suppose to have a feature that involved the Gameboy camera taking a photo of yours or someone else's face and putting it on some of the enemy characters, however the news papers got wind of it and it was deleted too.
You see back then it was deemed wrong to do things like that, you could take a photo of a person you didn't like and you could kill them in the game.(All that violent games make violent behaviour in real life BS)

@mesome713 me and all my mates had a PS2, we had more DVD’s than games on it....... it was a cheap DVD player that could also play games, Christ even my dad had one but never played games on it.

It read more like a 10, I've looked at other reviews and there are a lot of 10's out there, surprising as Nintendolife normally are quite generous with their scores.......... maybe it's just because it's not a Nintendo game🤷🏻‍♂️

As I have said before on these pages, regarding PS2 as a console is not accurate, the success was down to it having the caperbility for playing DVD's
DVD players were very expensive at the time and the PS2 offered a cheaper alternative that played video games too.
It was my first DVD player and still have it connected to my bedroom tv.
Myself and almost all my friends had a PS2 With 10 to 15 games on it, however we all had hundreds of DVD movies for it........ the DVD player was the killer app.

Congrats to PS4, looks like they are at 8Mil now.

@ekwcll the ps2 was blessed with a DVD player, that's why it done amazingly, it was one of my first DVD players,cheap, played games and CD's and is still used till this day. I do believe though that the ps2 should be mentioned as a DVD player not a console as I and all my mates at the time had more dad's than games.

Who remembers a time when you completed a game on different difficulty settings and opened up all these extras? The game then had more longivety .......

If the DLC is ready then why don't they put it in the game already, it's this kind of thing that the government should stop these companies from doing to rip us off.
If we go to the cinema and pay to watch the movie we watch the full movie to the end, not only pay to watch 45 minutes of it.

The thing is that this game isn't even graphically challenged, it's just pure natural lazy porting...... Ubisoft should be very ashamed of themselves for doing this.

@Mordridakon they've always been friendly, from the beginning when MS wanted to buy Nintendo, from the selling of Rare to Diddy kong racing appearing on DS and with Minecraft on multiplatform.
There has never been any animosity towards each other.

@Discostew it is very difficult to strike a ballance between braking and acceleration on the analog stick. The original Colin McRae Rally on ps1 had that system on it and I never got use to it.
The switch really would have benefited with analog triggers for SIM racing games.
Let's see what they plan to do.
By the way the game looks sweet.
