Re: Review: Raving Rabbids Travel in Time (Wii)

I enjoyed the first Rabbids game, and Rabbids Go Home, but I really didn't like this one (my brother got it for Christmas). It just seemed tedious and boring, not to mention whilst walking to an exit area I managed to walk straight through a wall, trapping myself and forcing me to restart the game.

/goes back to playing Sonic Colours

Well I'd go as far as saying it's a Tsutarja Poke Doll, since I generally tend to refer to her by her Japanese name, plus as the Poke Doll itself is a Japanese import, I guess it makes more sense. But yes, I do know, strictly speaking, she's called Snivy, but whaddaya gonna do?

Also, lucky you getting Kirby, we have to wait until February still.

I was surprised and pleased to get Sonic Colours for Wii. I wanted it, but didn't ask for it as I knew my parents were getting me a Fujifilm S2500HD for Christmas.

Other than that I got a Smugleaf Poke Doll, Yoshi Rucksack and 12 Months Xbox Live Gold. Oh, and a Mario Kart Pez-style dispenser.

Re: Review: Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition (Wii)

Bought this, played this, put this back on the shelf.

Pretty lazy stuff by Nintendo here, and the games offer nothing new over the Super Mario Advance versions I already have. Plus the fact it reverts to 50Hz, 576i and 4:3 when I play means the £30 odd quid I spent on my component cable was a waste.

Official Nintendo Magazine gave this compilation 90%. Unbelievable.

Re: First BIT.TRIP FLUX Screenshots

Aw yes! Thanks guys!

There simply has to be a twist, it can't just be BIT.TRIP BEAT backwards. The presence of beat combinations too wide for the paddle to hit, and the round beats might show this.

Also notice the Black/White/Red coloured music mode above GIGA in two of the screenshots, and also the two Commander Videos in the last screenshot.

Re: Research Shows More Consumers are Choosing Their Phones for Gaming

Yeah, but at the end of the day I suppose you have to consider what those games actually are. On the iPhone and such, they're likely to be small timewasters such as Angry Birds, whereas on the DS and PSP you end up playing proper games. I'd much rather play games on my DS than on my Nokia E63 anyday, the ease of gameplay on the DS and the quality of titles available far outstrips anything Apple has to offer.

Re: Review: FlingSmash (Wii)

It's strange, I really don't know what to make of this game. I've no intention of buying it, but I've seen review scores all over the place, ranging from the 8/10s to NL's 3/10.
