I have this, it's such a beautiful soundtrack. Plus it's much cheaper than on iTunes (which I hate anyway) so it's goodness all round.

That actually sounds like a far more effective method of controlling piracy than playing cat and mouse with firmware updates. It seems similar to Microsoft's policy of banning consoles from Xbox Live should they be modified to play pirated games/use hacks/etc. Sounds like a good idea to me, although I suspect the homebrewers will rage over this one...

I had to cancel my preorder the other day, as I am merely not able to comfortably afford it right now.

Oh well, at least I have White to keep me entertained for a while. And this means, for once, I can wait and pick up a special edition/colour of the console!

It's amusing reading about CORE, because this is definitely my favourite game in the BIT.TRIP series, and one of my favourite games overall (and it seems others agree). I'm an absolute sucker for non-traditional rhythm-action games (i.e. anything that's not Guitar Hero or Rock Band) like Rhythm Paradise and Maestro: Jump in Music, so CORE played all the right notes to me. Echoing other commenters, I also agree everyone should hear/play CONTROL as it is one of my favourite levels in all of the BIT.TRIPS.

I'd have to say VOID is my second least favourite, followed by FATE as my least favourite. That's not to say they're bad games or anything (I do enjoy playing them, and I think they're extremely well done), they're just not up there with CORE and RUNNER imo.

Edit: is it a bad thing that CORE is my second-most played Wii game at 50 hours, when I've only had it since October 10?

I went along to this. Whilst it was a little underwhelming thanks to the dreary weather, the knitwear was very well done, and everyone was more than pleasant.

PlusI got given a copy of the game for free so I'm not complaining.

This is still readily available in shops over here, new.

Most routers should support WEP. Both my family's D-Link DIR-825 and my own Belkin Play Max support WEP encryption, and they're both high end, recent routers. If not, then you could always hunt down a Nintendo WiFi USB connector on the cheap.

Although, here's a thought. Since Black and White are DSi enhanced, I wonder if they will support WPA encryption if played on a DSi?

Would definitely recommend the Wii version to anyone considering buying it.

I think I have 200 points spare on my DSi XL from downloading Art Academy, so hopefully I should be able to get this in one points purchase.

At the moment the only reason I want to buy this game is because of it's potential rarity. I'll pass for now though.

The most I've managed to leave a DS in sleep mode is one month straight. I downloaded a Pokemon Link demo from a Nintendo Tour, put it into standby with the intention of playing it later, and totally forgot.

At least I can import and play it with no problems. For once, a good reason to live in a PAL region.

I have a feeling this is going to be the DS vs PSP all over again.

I wish we could learn how the DSiWare transfer process would work, so we know how trading in can be achieved whilst still keeping our downloads.

Will give the LIT demo a crack. Also, was there a Lilt Line demo at one point, or has that been US only so far?

I had heard from other sites that people trying this game found it hard to keep the 3D aspect in focus, occasionally seeing double, despite not having such a problem with other 3D games. How did you guys find it?

I'm pretty sure EU is getting Nintendogs + Cats (that's what the chap in GameStation said I could preorder) so I imagine Oz would get it too.

See, whilst I've never been a huge fan of LoZ, I did enjoy Wind Waker and Link's Awakening until I grew bored of them halfway through the story. If Ocarina is all that people say it is, I might just have to give it a try. I just don't want to spend money on a game I might grow bored of...

Whilst it makes sense from a business point of view, I am sad to see it go (if this rumour does turn out to be true). My DSi is safe, at least!

Don't forget, we don't have Shantae yet.

Screen protectors are essential, and as far as I'm concerned I will not use the touch screen without one, after what happened to my Nokia 5800.

However, the thing that bugs me about the travel cases is that they're designed to accept US/Jap chargers. The pins fold in on those so it's got a really small profile. The UK chargers have a really large footprint and they never fit in the cases.

I wonder how close the DS is to beating the PS2's total worldwide sales.
