That actually sounds like a far more effective method of controlling piracy than playing cat and mouse with firmware updates. It seems similar to Microsoft's policy of banning consoles from Xbox Live should they be modified to play pirated games/use hacks/etc. Sounds like a good idea to me, although I suspect the homebrewers will rage over this one...
I had to cancel my preorder the other day, as I am merely not able to comfortably afford it right now.
Oh well, at least I have White to keep me entertained for a while. And this means, for once, I can wait and pick up a special edition/colour of the console!
It's amusing reading about CORE, because this is definitely my favourite game in the BIT.TRIP series, and one of my favourite games overall (and it seems others agree). I'm an absolute sucker for non-traditional rhythm-action games (i.e. anything that's not Guitar Hero or Rock Band) like Rhythm Paradise and Maestro: Jump in Music, so CORE played all the right notes to me. Echoing other commenters, I also agree everyone should hear/play CONTROL as it is one of my favourite levels in all of the BIT.TRIPS.
I'd have to say VOID is my second least favourite, followed by FATE as my least favourite. That's not to say they're bad games or anything (I do enjoy playing them, and I think they're extremely well done), they're just not up there with CORE and RUNNER imo.
Edit: is it a bad thing that CORE is my second-most played Wii game at 50 hours, when I've only had it since October 10?
I went along to this. Whilst it was a little underwhelming thanks to the dreary weather, the knitwear was very well done, and everyone was more than pleasant.
PlusI got given a copy of the game for free so I'm not complaining.
I can provide additional pictures, if you would like them NL?
Most routers should support WEP. Both my family's D-Link DIR-825 and my own Belkin Play Max support WEP encryption, and they're both high end, recent routers. If not, then you could always hunt down a Nintendo WiFi USB connector on the cheap.
Although, here's a thought. Since Black and White are DSi enhanced, I wonder if they will support WPA encryption if played on a DSi?
The most I've managed to leave a DS in sleep mode is one month straight. I downloaded a Pokemon Link demo from a Nintendo Tour, put it into standby with the intention of playing it later, and totally forgot.
I had heard from other sites that people trying this game found it hard to keep the 3D aspect in focus, occasionally seeing double, despite not having such a problem with other 3D games. How did you guys find it?
See, whilst I've never been a huge fan of LoZ, I did enjoy Wind Waker and Link's Awakening until I grew bored of them halfway through the story. If Ocarina is all that people say it is, I might just have to give it a try. I just don't want to spend money on a game I might grow bored of...
Screen protectors are essential, and as far as I'm concerned I will not use the touch screen without one, after what happened to my Nokia 5800.
However, the thing that bugs me about the travel cases is that they're designed to accept US/Jap chargers. The pins fold in on those so it's got a really small profile. The UK chargers have a really large footprint and they never fit in the cases.

Re: Pokémon Black and White Catches a Million Trainers on Launch Day
Thoroughly deserved.
Re: An Old School Look at The Reginator
Gold. Pure gold.
Re: BIT.TRIP FLUX Soundtrack Available to Download Now
I have this, it's such a beautiful soundtrack. Plus it's much cheaper than on iTunes (which I hate anyway) so it's goodness all round.

Here's how I rank them:

Re: Review: My Little Baby (WiiWare)
Playing this game will give me nightmares

Re: Review: BIT.TRIP FLUX (WiiWare)
Downloaded. Here we go!
Re: Review: BIT.TRIP FLUX (WiiWare)
Great review, I'm so FLUXing excited for this game! Insta-download at 11pm tonight.
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th February 2011 (Europe)
@DarkRoy
It will be released on the Wii Shop Channel at 12pm GMT+1. I'll be on the shop at 11pm tonight with my credit card handy.
Re: Pokemon DSi Consoles Emerge from Long North American Grass
I only wish they had done this for HG and SS.
Re: The Legend of Zelda is 25 Years Old Today
Is it a crime that I'm not a huge fan of LoZ?
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th February 2011 (Europe)
Saving my points for next weeks very special WiiWare release.
Re: Review: Panda Craze (DSiWare)
This game sounds like total pandamonium..
Re: Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition gets an Extra Life
This is still readily available in shops over here, new.

Re: Super Mario Galaxy 2 up for BAFTA Game of the Year
Pfft, Dance Central is better than Galaxy 2 by a long shot, obviously.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11th February 2011 (Europe)
I'm 3/4 of the way through downloading Shantae!
Re: Shantae Not Coming to Australian DSiWare Next Week
Is it possible to download it by changing the region on the DSi to UK?
Re: Sonic Colours Sells 1.85 Million Copies Worldwide
Would definitely recommend the Wii version to anyone considering buying it.
Re: Shantae Finally Reaches Europe Next Friday for 1200 Points
I think I have 200 points spare on my DSi XL from downloading Art Academy, so hopefully I should be able to get this in one points purchase.
Re: Proof that Inazuma Eleven Really Is Out in the UK
At the moment the only reason I want to buy this game is because of it's potential rarity. I'll pass for now though.
/goes and plays Maestro Jump in Music
Re: Observe the Flow of Battle in Pokemon Black & White Video
I really hope they announce the preorder bonus soon!
Re: 3DS Contains Two Tiny StreetPass Minigames

Re: If You're Down Under, Nab an Agent Ford Statue with Conduit 2
At least I can import and play it with no problems. For once, a good reason to live in a PAL region.
Re: Iwata: 3DS and NGP will Appeal to Different Target Audiences
I have a feeling this is going to be the DS vs PSP all over again.
Re: 3DS Update in May Includes eShop and Other Applications
I wish we could learn how the DSiWare transfer process would work, so we know how trading in can be achieved whilst still keeping our downloads.
Re: Nintendo Download: 28th January 2011 (Europe)
Will give the LIT demo a crack. Also, was there a Lilt Line demo at one point, or has that been US only so far?
Actually, stupid question, as we haven't even got the full game yet. xD
Re: Mario Sports Mix Giveaway!
crosses crossed fingers X3
Re: Sonic Colours Soundtrack Racing to iTunes
Amazon MP3 or I'm not buying. =/
Re: Inazuma Eleven Looking to Score in Europe on Friday
I'd love to get this if it were not for an absolute lack of money.

Re: European 3DS Launch Line-up Close to Being Finalised
@NintendoPurist87
I'm pretty sure EU is getting Nintendogs + Cats (that's what the chap in GameStation said I could preorder) so I imagine Oz would get it too.

Re: Pachter: Nintendo Should Charge More for 3DS
Thank goodness he's talking about the US price, I nearly flipped when I saw this.
EDIT: I just noticed an article on GamesRadar that claims the trade price of a 3DS in the UK to be £173.
Re: Nintendo Defends European Retailers' Pricing of the 3DS
@20
GBP 229.99 is approximately USD 365.
Re: There's a Limit on Transferring Software from One 3DS to Another
I want to know how this will impact on people looking to trade in. Will I be able to transfer if I trade in my DSi?
Re: 3DS: Including StreetPass, SpotPass, eShop, Mii Maker & AR Cards
"Pricing outside the United States will be established by the local markets, but offer similar consumer value"
I lol'd.
Then I cried.
Re: Fan-Made Petition to Bring Last Story Westward Gains Steam

Re: Limited Edition Pokemon Black and White DSis to Hit Europe
Do want, but can't afford if I want to get a 3DS. Besides, I want Pokemon White, but the Black DS. =/
Re: Nintendo Download - 14th January 2011 (Europe)
Oh good, I was getting paranoid that I'd missed the AYIM demo.
Re: Review: Deca Sports 3 (Wii)
Wow, seriously? I was expecting at least a 10/10.
Re: Roll Up, Roll Up For the UK 3DS Price Rumour Round-Up
If it were £299, then I would sadly not buy a 3DS. Well, not for a while, at least.
Re: Monochrome Pokemon Come to Europe on March 4th
The system works!
Re: Rumour: The D in DSi May Soon Stand for "Discontinued"
Whilst it makes sense from a business point of view, I am sad to see it go (if this rumour does turn out to be true). My DSi is safe, at least!
Re: DS Dominated 2010 as the Best-Selling Console in the U.K.
@MasterGraveheart
Don't forget, we don't have Shantae yet.

Re: DS is the Best-Selling Console Ever in the U.S.
I wonder how close the DS is to beating the PS2's total worldwide sales.
