Definitely getting Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale, been meaning to get this one, Also debating to get Inazuma Eleven(Not sure if I'll like it, the review didn't really change my opinion so far ).
I can definitely recommend: The Starship Damrey, Crimson Shroud & Liberation Maiden.
@OmegaStar Why did you click the article then?
Also if you're ever interested in it, I would greatly suggest reading the manga. The anime moves at a snails pace, I should know, I'm on the Thriller Bark Arc and it's pretty slow often taking away like the first 5 minutes just recapping what happened in the previous episodes.
Anyway, this is pretty cool, though I'm still not happy about stuff being amiibo exclusive, this is just locking out content for others who don't have them, I believe Mario Kart 8 does the same thing with their costumes.
The only amiibos I'm planning on getting are: Captain Falcon, Fox, Falco, Peach, Mega Man, Sonic, Pac-Man & Kirby.
I'm buying the game if it (hopefully)comes out in the US, I bought Unlimited World Red & enjoyed it, I'm sure I'll love this one, from the gameplay videos I've seen.
@Pokefraker What does Shovel Knight have anything to do with what I said? I'm talking about Sonic games here and how they haven't made a good one since the console version of Generations.
@GreatPlayer >Implying I only buy Nintendo games.
It's enough to look at gameplay videos of Boom to see it's terrible and the 3DS demo didn't sell me.
Also, for the record, I want Sonic games to be good, because I know what they're capable of, stuff like Sonic 3 & Knuckles(Still my personal favorite), Sonic Colors(Wii version) & Generations(Console version).
But you can't hide the glaring problems Boom has. And Lost World didn't do anything for me, don't get me started on the 3DS version.
I downloaded it since it was free, plus my previous theme was just the basic pink color, since I don't like spending money on themes for a 3DS menu
I actually like it, the folders look very nice. As for the game itself, sorry BigRedButton, but I ain't spending a dime on either game, the Wii U is a glitchy mess & the 3DS game...while better, it still hasn't sold me on it.
Now if SEGA would stop giving Sonic to random companies and make an actually good game since Generations, then I might consider buying it.
The keys are just there for you to unlock the Red Rangers easier, but they can all be unlocked just by playing the game itself. Also you can scan the keys with pictures on the internet, so don't waste your money on the keys.
Anyway, Personally I was interested in this, even though I knew it was shovelware trash to cash-in while the show is popular. I'm buying this when it gets a price drop, just because of the nostalgia of seeing the old MMPR team & Because I haven't played a PR game since the SNES beat 'em up.
Shame a good company like WayForward didn't make this game. Also they really missed the opportunity to add everyone from all the series, it's not like this game has a varied moveset per ranger, they still recycle movesets, so I don't see why they can't simply put everyone in.
The only teams that are complete are the Super Megaforce & Mighty Morphin, everyone else is just the Red rangers(Or "Forever Red" like they call themselves).
@BornInNorway81 What exactly are you talking about? They did release an update for Skyward Sword awhile back, not sure if what you are referring to is a new thing or not(Haven't played SS since the month it was released).
@manu0 Oh they did? I don't even use that thing since I don't own a Wii U
@mastermp2 Yeah, especially with stuff like Amiibos being a thing now.
As for this game, I've never tried Minecraft, I can see why people enjoy it, it's just that my PC can't play games, I remember trying out the free Street Fighter x Mega Man game, I couldn't get pass the first stage screen, the input lag was too much.
So I'll keep my eye on this one, and try the demo when it comes out, who knows, maybe it'll be a decent clone.
@thelastgogeta I forgot the created characters could turn into titans too. Making it temporary was definitely a good idea, I think the fan game also had everyone being able to turn into titans.
@Tamalesyatole That was from a different update, I think it was the one that gave us the big changes in the main screen(Like changing themes/backgrounds and such).
I'm gonna go update now, my 3DS must be very stable!
As much shovelware as Power Rangers Super Megaforce is going to be, I'm buying it, not now, but when it gets a reduced price.
It has the classic Power Rangers, my 20 year old self just got hit with a wall of nostalgia and there's also the other red rangers(Though it's a shame you only get the full team of Super Megaforce & Mighty Morphin, everything else is just red rangers).
I'm also interested in Shantae, as I love that franchise, but the price is just way too much, no matter how good it is, Shantae games are really short, the most time spent is backtracking to different areas to get items.
I loved the anime, though I haven't read the manga.
I'm very happy about this, especially because it's Atlus, which means E'SHOP REDUCED PRICE SALES!
I freaking love Atlus. I was keeping an eye on this, so I'm very glad it could come out in the US, I'm disappointed with the Titan fights, as they look really generic, but I can deal with it. The online is a welcome feature as well, even if I've never been big on online gaming. TAKE MY MONEY ATLUS!
I'll be downloading Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal World Duel Carnival. Despite the disappointments and cut content.
Been wanting to try a new Yugioh game anyway, even though it's outdated(Card wise). This will also be my last Yugioh game, due to the recent rule changes being terrible & Pendulum monsters just ruining Yugioh for me. It was the last card game I cared about, been playing it since my childhood, but after this game, it's time for me to move on from it.
@dkxcalibur Yep there isn't much replay value, as it's linear as it can get, but honestly it's one of my favorite franchises, I loved the characters, especially in the first trilogy, stuff like Apollo Justice, not so much.
@Goob Wait, you played Dual Destinies before the others? You are aware of the risk of spoilers, right? Go play the trilogy when it's released ASAP! Trials & Tribulations(The 3rd one) is my personal favorite.
Anyway, looks great, I have all 3 games on Wiiware, but I might just buy this trilogy, just for the sake of supporting this franchise.
Really surprised it took this long the get a review for it, especially since like the review mentioned, they're literally the same game with the exception of the multiplayer part.
Overall good score, I'd give it a 7 too, still haven't bought any of the DLC.
Something worth mentioning, if you haven't followed the story, there are some pretty major spoilers(Regarding character deaths), so if you don't want to be spoiled, you might want to catch up to the story first.
@Jim_Purcell Oh no! No stereoscopic 3D, the horror! The game is ruined!
@allav866 Oh I know, I've been looking into the game for awhile, but never purchased it before. But those aren't necessary to me. But thanks anyway I do have 3 AR cards Club Nintendo gave away for free awhile ago.
"It looks like a pretty decent visual upgrade over the 2010 DSiWare release, though we hope the gameplay isn't as one-note and repetitive as that last-gen effort."
I hope they hear you, Thomas. I bought that game blindly because I was looking for a fighting game on the e'shop and stumbled across that, one of my first e'shop regrets. If you want a repetitive fighter, look no further than BlayzBloo.
@allav866 Not at all, I don't need the stand or the AR cards.
I was told I needed the Circle Pad Pro for Resident Evil Revelations, beat it without any problems.
I've heard about the hand cramps, but I don't think it will be too much trouble for me. I got hand cramps when playing Mario Kart 7 for the first time(Wasn't used to the button layout), but I got used to it pretty quickly.
As for the AR cards, I'll just scan them from a website. That's what I did with Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance.
lol you people complaining are pathetic. Let me write in all caps so you get the idea in your head:
IT'S A NON CANON SPIN OFF, IT DOESN'T AFFECT ANYTHING!
That said, I find it humorous considering Link isn't even the same in most games, he could be reincarnated into a girl next game and it wouldn't really affect anything because Link has no personality. The only thing he ever said was "I found a mirror under the table".
Also if you people worry about the relationship between him & Zelda, there's hardly anything there either. Most of the time Zelda is like "Oh you saved me, thank you hero of time! 'K thanks bye!".
@allav866 I highly doubt we won't get this. Last time we got discounts as well, like Ocarina of Time 3D among other Nintendo games(Which I can't remember because I have terrible memory).
Anyway, when this comes to the US I'm buying Kid Icarus Uprising, I saw a full let's play of it on Youtube & it looks really fun, better than the previous 2 games for sure.
I bought this blindly the day after it was released, after seeing positive comments on Miiverse.
It's pretty fun, but like others have said, I can't draw anything wonderful or professional, lol.
I don't really care for the lack of Miiverse sharing, sure it's a bit disappointing, but if you went on Miiverse, you could see how terribly shrunken down the comics were, to the point that you couldn't read what was being said, so I'm happy the SD card importing and the Gallery is an option.
Also it's pretty nice that you can take pictures with the 3DS camera to put on the comics, though this reason was the main reason why the Miiverse closed the screenshot option(Because immature people would inevitably post naked photos).
This opening movie is pretty old to me, since I had seen the Japanese opening awhile back ago, except this one has a release date for us in the US
Anyway, I'm pretty hyped, this is going to be my first Persona game, I have seen the other games on YouTube to get caught up with the story(Though I know this is a non canon spinoff).
Though they really need to drop the price on the e'shop, it bothered me how Shin Megami Tensei 4 was $50, though the good thing about Atlus is that they tend to give us price drops a lot, I got SMT4 for $29.
@Linker2A03 You made a good point actually, something I forgot to mention in my previous post, the comics get horribly shrunken down in Miiverse posts, sometimes it was really hard to read what the heck was being said.
Definitely agree with you, they dodged a bullet, people could have been posting nude pictures among other things.
@WindWakerLink Yeah it's a bit of a rip off, you can search for a list of Japanese DLC, to see if you like anything when it comes out over here. +The costumes have different stats, so some can be worse than others.
I'm holding off for now, my Nami currently has the 15 year anniversary costume.
@Tsurii897 Thank you! I was just about to mention that.
Let's be honest the only reason she got in over Chrom is because Sakurai has been pushing the fact that we have more females now.
The reason he gave for including Lucina contradicts the fact he mentioned Chrom being just another sword user, here have another clone instead, because that's so much better.
I'm not even a FE fan, never played a game, but judging purely on the trailer and what has been said, Lucina isn't special at all, moveset wise.
I'm a Elite this time(Was Gold last time), disappointed with the overall selection, I only have a 3DS , so was rather limited, and just like last time, I had the majority of those games already.
I got Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, was meaning to get this game actually, didn't know if I wanted to suffer motion controls on the Wii or less framerate on the 3DS, but I guess now I didn't have a choice
ALSO JESUS CHRIST THAT DOWNLOAD SIZE, what is the game made out of titanium? I'm glad I upgraded my SD card to 16 GB awhile ago, this is definitely the biggest retail game I've downloaded, I think it's bigger than Shin Megami Tensei 4.
Easily Majora's Mask. The game pays attention to everyone, every characters is doing something at a different time and not just stuck in one place for all eternity.
Which definitely makes me care about them a lot more. Especially the Anju & Kafei side quest.
"One particular issue, however, is that two attacks seemed to be mapped to Luffy’s X button — one long range attack, suitable for striking hazardous objects from a distance, and one dashing attack that is the precise opposite. Experimentation seemed to point to these attacks being selected at random"
Um..what? The dashing attack is simply made by holding the X button, while the long range attack is by simply pressing the X button. It's not that hard >_>
Aside from that this review hit everything spot on.
It's a fun game, been greatly enjoying it. I have the 3DS version(Though all versions are pretty much the same, aside from multiplayer).
If you are a One Piece fan I definitely recommend it!
@Windy No online whatsoever, and multiplayer is only for doing co-op battles or fishing minigames, no way to do a 1 on 1 battle against another player basically.
It's still a good game mind you, don't focus on just multiplayer because you'll be missing out on a ton of good games.
@hiptanaka Pretty much all of the Warriors games are the same, once you've played one, you've played them all.
Enemies are just there as fodder, the only things that are a bit of a threat are the leaders/bosses, and even then you are still winning by mindlessly mashing buttons.

I'm still waiting for 3D Classics Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and 3D Classics Gain Ground, though I think I'm the only one that cares about that game
Anyway, I'll try out Outrun, never played it before.
Re: Retro City Rampage Gets Beefed Up on WiiWare With 'DX' Update
Wat...I get to update a Wiiware game, hell, I get to update something on the Wii!? WHAT SORCERY IS THIS!?
No, but seriously, happy to see some sort of update on my Wii, it got abandoned after the 3DS & Wii U came out in terms of updates
Welp I never bought the updated 3DS game, but now I have less of a reason to get that version, portability doesn't matter to me that much.

For such an important part of the show/manga, it's kinda disappointing.
Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd October (North America)

If you want a repetitive fighter, look no further than BlayzBloo.
Re: Nintendo Confirms a Huge Range of eShop Discounts to Celebrate Super Smash Bros.

The only thing he ever said was "I found a mirror under the table".
Also if you people worry about the relationship between him & Zelda, there's hardly anything there either.
Most of the time Zelda is like "Oh you saved me, thank you hero of time! 'K thanks bye!".
Re: Nintendo Confirms a Huge Range of eShop Discounts to Celebrate Super Smash Bros.
Re: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! X Will Cram 85 Different Characters Into Your Humble 3DS
@BulbasaurusRex Don't get the wrong idea though, like I mentioned in my previous post, this is similar to Gigant Battle(The 2D games).
They're only using chibi models like the Grand Battle games, don't let the title fool you.
Re: 3DS System Update 8.1.0-18 is Now Live
I'm hoping for the day one of these updates makes the 3DS browser magically better.

Also another update for the YouTube app that makes it so it ain't so terrible.
I can dream, can't I?

Re: One Piece: Super Grand Battle! X Will Cram 85 Different Characters Into Your Humble 3DS
@CaveDweller They remind me of the Grand Battle models from the Gamecube games.
@Tsuzura It looks to be a 2D fighter from the image, similar to the Gigant Battle games.
I'm pretty excited for this, I recently got back into One Piece and even bought Unlimited World Red for the 3DS.
Definitely hoping it comes out in the US.

I'm holding off for now, my Nami currently has the 15 year anniversary costume.
Re: Screenshots Disabled in Comic Workshop Miiverse Community
I bought the game yesterday actually, after seeing a lot of people posting pictures.
It's a good app, but it's a shame about what happened. I didn't see people post offensive/sensitive things either, but I understand why they did it.
Also, I don't understand why they can't just simply make an update/patch that makes it so you can't post comics with photos.
I still got what I wanted, I wasn't going to share my comics anyway, but I understand why people are disappointed.
Re: This Super Smash Bros. Screen K.O. Shot is a Great Start to the Weekend
@Goginho Actually we've seen it before, in Super Mario 64.
Re: Nintendo Download: 17th July (North America)
I'm interested in Comic Workshop as I used to draw lots of comics when I was a kid(Mainly DBZ/Yugioh/Sailor Moon rip offs, lol).
I'll wait for a review first.

@Mega719 I'm not sure in all honesty, I hardly use Brook.
@Drac_Mazoku As much as I like this website they tend to beat a dead horse all the time, see every Senran Kagura article ever.
Re: One Piece Unlimited World Red DLC Arrives, With Golden Bell Tower Mission and Nami Swimsuit Pack
@Nintendo6400 One Piece was always kinda perverted, Nami was always flirting with people to steal their treasure.
Though granted, Franky's pretty perverted, in game he says he wants to stuff both Nami & Robin inside of him.
And Brook mentions his entire body is hard(Since he is a Skeleton).
Edit-Not to mention Sanji, in game he wonders what color Nami's panties are. But he's like that in the anime/manga anyway.
Anyway, I have the 3DS version, don't know if I should spend $2.99 for the Nami outfit + Quest and the 99 cents Quest for money DLC.
I'll hold off for now, Japan had a bunch of DLC, but it seems a bit of a rip off tbh.
@Mega719 I'm also using Nami in her anniversary outfit, imo both her and Robin look better with those costumes.
Re: Nintendo Goes Download-Only With The 2014 Club Nintendo Elite Rewards
Re: Poll: Which Is The Best Legend Of Zelda Game?
Easily Majora's Mask. The game pays attention to everyone, every characters is doing something at a different time and not just stuck in one place for all eternity.
Which definitely makes me care about them a lot more. Especially the Anju & Kafei side quest.
Still waiting on a remake Nintendo.
Re: Review: One Piece Unlimited World Red (Wii U)
@spearhead31 I've seen plenty of animes subbed and can read & watch at the same time, don't really see a problem there.
As for the voices there are some animes that are definitely worse than others in that regard, I personally can't stand Goku & Gohan's Japanese voices.
Re: Review: One Piece Unlimited World Red (Wii U)
Re: New Fighter for Super Smash Bros. to be Revealed on 14th July
A 3 minute video? That's pretty big, RIDLEY CONFIRMED!
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th July (North America)
@Windy No online whatsoever, and multiplayer is only for doing co-op battles or fishing minigames, no way to do a 1 on 1 battle against another player basically.
It's still a good game mind you, don't focus on just multiplayer because you'll be missing out on a ton of good games.
Re: New Official Hyrule Warriors Screens Show Off Fi, Ghirahim, Skyward Sword Stages and More
@DiscoGentleman I always see you reply to people with the same exact thing.
Don't imply everyone plays on easy mode, other difficulties just make the enemies tougher, you are still button mashing.
Re: Nintendo Download: 10th July (North America)
@SheldonRandoms I always loved that part of the opening
Anyway, I'm not buying anything, bought Unlimited World Red two days ago when it was released, great game, very colorful.
Re: New Official Hyrule Warriors Screens Show Off Fi, Ghirahim, Skyward Sword Stages and More
@hiptanaka Pretty much all of the Warriors games are the same, once you've played one, you've played them all.
Enemies are just there as fodder, the only things that are a bit of a threat are the leaders/bosses, and even then you are still winning by mindlessly mashing buttons.
