"After naming a generic male avatar that will vaguely represent you in the game’s Free Duel mode"
Actually that generic avatar is your key to make everyone's deck editable in Free Duel(So you can duel against your own decks), you have to unlock him in story mode though, then duel everyone in story mode with him so that you unlock that option.
Anyway I actually don't care at all for the multiplayer, heck I bought Pokemon games for the single player(Besides all you see these days is Brave Bird...Ahem Talonflame and Rotom W).
I'm most disappointed at some of my favorite cards not being in the game, like Change of Heart, that card has saved me from so many duels
I don't care that it isn't up-to-date, the last Yugioh game I played was Duel Transer on the Wii, so I need to try out the new Xyz cards(Heard they break the game).
Still waiting for it to come out here in the US in September though.
I will say the game should have gotten a $20 price for the western versions, the cut content, while not important, it's still a lot less of a game compared to the Japanese version(I miss the Japanese voice acting the most, for whatever reason I always like the way they pronounce DRAW!).
@Beta Who the heck told you the Straw Hat thing was coming for the e'shop? I'm sure it was a pre-order bonus.
@FullbringIchigo I know the manga is pretty much the way to go, but I have a problem that I can't distinguish properly what's going on in black & white, especially on action scenes(This happened to me a lot while reading Naruto Shippuden).
So while the manga is better, I'm actually sticking with the anime for now, I know it's a lot slower & they change stuff here & there, but I can at least know what everything looks like properly(Plus like I mentioned earlier, I have a list of the filler episodes & I'm skipping all of them).
Currently on episode 210, I definitely have a long way to go.
Have the game pre-ordered already, to get the Day 1 edition(Comes with costumes for all characters & a Luffy & Ace quest).
I'm not even at the time skip yet, so I'm risking getting spoiled(Someone told me that even though the game has an original story, it spoils a character's death + other characters from the different arcs show up).
I'm actually trying to catch up now, have a list of all of the filler episodes and I'm skipping them all, currently on Season 4(Right after Skypeia).
The game itself looks great, especially for an anime game, bright and colorful + it was actually made for the 3DS before it got a version for all the other consoles, so supposedly it runs the best on 3DS.
@Daruncic Samurai Goroh assist trophy & you'd be delusional to think he won't be back, none of the original 12 are getting cut.
Especially how popular Falcon became because of Smash(Falcon Punch even made it to the F-Zero anime).
Most people now recognize him more for Smash than F-Zero.
Also I was talking about Amiibos in general, not just the Smash Bros amiibos, nothing is stopping them from making F-Zero amiibos, if we ever get a new F-Zero game.
@midnafanboy Exactly, if it was actual child porn Nintendo would have never allowed it.
Doesn't surprise me people are already freaking out over this, lol.
Anyway I'm hoping the game gets a US release, loved the first game, and before anyone says anything, I'm gay and the "fanservice" does nothing for me, I just find it an enjoyable brawler, plus it looks like they fixed the framerate. so I'm already sold.
Edit-I just remembered there are male characters this time around, but even then it does nothing for me, I prefer the real thing over digital/anime
I legitimately bought the first game for the gameplay, and will do the same for this one if it gets localized.
I'm not buying them, I don't see a point to them yet, unless they can be transferred to something like Mario Kart(Seeing Captain Falcon in a kart could be really cool), I'll pass.
Though I will say this, Peach is going to be really popular, you can see her panties and you know how the internet is with that kind of stuff(I'd post a picture, but don't know if it's allowed).
@Kaze_Memaryu It's ok, the Wii games didn't seem to get much attention, so unless you played them yourself there isn't much to find online.
Duel Transer had a new original story, it was pretty generic, but I mainly bought it for the card battling,
Didn't have a DS at the time, so this was my first actual non spinoff Yugioh game(aside from one of the GBA games).
Ironically it had online unlike this new 3DS game XD
@Kaze_Memaryu Nope, wrong again You're thinking of Wheelie Breakers, which was the first 5DS Wii game, I was talking about Duel Transer which was your regular old Yugioh game with just the normal duels(No Turbo duels or Tag Team duels).
That one was a somewhat decent Mario Kart clone, had 1 major flaw though, it didn't have a drift button, in a game filled with corners, I always found myself slamming into the walls XD
@ultraraichu I still see people playing on malls & such a couple of times.
It definitely isn't as big as it was before, but people still play it.
I've seen a lot of people talk about an online version of Yugioh called Duel Network(or something like that).
Personally I don't buy the cards anymore, but I buy the games.
Yugioh is probably one of the few card games that interest me at the moment(Besides UNO, but that's more casual than anything), Yugioh just has a lot of different strategies you can do, which is what interests me the most.
Granted I can't say anything regarding the XYZs & the new Pendulum summons(From the new show Yugioh Arc V), since I haven't been keeping track with anything outside the 5DS stuff.
@Kaze_Memaryu "I was wondering when they'd finally release a new Yu-Gi-Oh! game on a Nintendo console (Over The Nexus was the last one, and that was for DS, in 2009)"
Actually the last one was for the Wii in December 7 2010(Yugioh 5DS Duel Transer), I should know since I had it
Anyway, I'm hoping for a US Release, not because I like Zexal(I hate it, and Arc V looks even worse), but I'll tolerate it to play a Yugioh game with more cards in it, can't play Duel Transer anymore due to my Wii hating disks and I'm kinda tired of sending my Wii to repairs(So it's pretty much my VC/WiiWare machine )
I don't care that it doesn't have online, since I'm not much of a online gamer(People disconnecting, rude people & bad connections in general kinda ruined my online experience).
@-Crystalline- Oh I am aware of that collection, though sadly I can't find it anywhere here on Puerto Rico, guess they sold out or whatever. If I can't find it in the few stores I haven't checked, then I'll probably end up buying it on Amazon or ebay
But I'm definitely looking forward to it + I haven't played Megaman Zero yet (I have seen plently of gameplay footage of it though). This game looks great!
@Ichiban Well they are underage, in the japanese version anyway, their ages got removed in the US versions(though it's very obvious some of them are underage). Which is slightly disturbing, but I enjoy the gameplay so >.>
Anyway I am waiting for the sequel, I've read you can switch between 2 characters instantly + there are 2 playable male characters this time around, 1 being Ikaruga's brother & the other I'm not sure if it's been revealed yet, but I'm guessing it's the Hanzo sensei(whom I can't remember his name lol).
@memoryman3 Never played the console version of 2, but at least compared to the Wii version of the first game it was good, I liked the different abilities and such.
Obviously the charm goes away when it's in a smaller screen, I was just disappointed with the short levels & the fact that the only character that can use the electricity objects was Batman in his electric suit(forgot the name at the moment).
@FilmerNgameR We don't need more SEGA characters. Third party characters should stick to only 1 representation. Smash Bros is a Nintendo franchise, if you want Shadow wait until SEGA/Sonic Team does a "All Stars" type of fighting game.
+Besides Silver & Big, Shadow has been one of the worst Sonic characters.
@Pixel-Perfect I understand :/ But hey at least your copy still works, I had to sell all of my Wii games due to it murdering my disks, I fixed the disk reading problem twice(which costed like $80), and it still ended up scratching disks.
Pretty much my Wii is only for VC/WiiWare games now & the internet channel. Sucks considering TvC was one of my favorite fighters & Capcom apparently lost the Tatsunoko side(so no more games of these two pairings in the future, apparently).
@whodatninja "But he still utterly useless" Same could be said about Peach in most of the main Mario games.
I personally never understood the hate Waluigi gets, I've been playing as him since Mario Party 3 on every spinoff that I've played(except for MK7, because they were lazy & rushed the game, gotta love that Metal Mario, brilliant replacement).
I love the guy, his attitude is completely different from most Mario characters & I really like that contrast. Kinda sad how he keeps getting ignored, yet stuff like Toadette get's the pass for being good(I don't even know if she was in a game prior to Double Dash).
For me this is yet another disappointment, both him & Skull Kid are only assist trophies(Yet Toon Link still got in, even though he is yet another unnecessary clone character).
"Once again, Waluigi’s Assist Trophy joins the collection!! …Which also means he’s not a playable character. Just because you try hard doesn't mean you'll make it into the battle."
Once again beating a dead horse, but hey, Wii Fit Trainer was totally a character that needed to happen, because the big N hardly has any good females.
"Gameplay is nearly identical to that found in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes for 3DS, with most stages providing an isometric top-down view of the area."
UGH... Why did they go for that AGAIN!?
What was so wrong with the Lego Batman 2 style of gameplay?(which is actually decent, except for how short it is).
@burninmylight Sorry for the late reply, but yeah The Last Blade 2 has been out for awhile now, I just finally got the time on my backlog of games to buy it Most of the last Wii VC games that came out were NeoGeo games, which I'm really thankful for because I'm a big fan of fighting games and never had the chance to try most SNK games
@Pixel-Perfect You can still battle the CPU, I know it isn't the best thing ever, but it's not like you'll lose your game or something I've seen a lot of people over reacting on different forums, I'm glad I've always been a single player type of person, so I'm fine battling the CPU with no lag
@yuwarite I'm not made of money & I won't be buying a console that literally has nothing that interests me at the time. I'm waiting for a price drop & to see what GBA/DS games it gets. If it gets Pokemon Emerald I'll dive right in to the Wii U.
Wait I'm confused, what does this mean for the Internet Channel? Will it still work? I don't have a computer of my own(I know it's almost required these days, but I always end up buying games instead >.>), so the internet channel is basically my computer, with youtube videos in glorious 240p
I'm glad the Shop Channel isn't going offline, I still have a bunch to buy(Recently purchased Yoshi's Story, King of Fighters 98 & The Last Blade 2).
Still haven't bought a Wii U yet, hardly anything interests me Might end up buying it after MK8 & Smash bros. comes out though, I do like how it's getting GBA/DS support(they probably did that because it isn't doing well lol)
@gatorboi352 Agreed, people love them Call of Duty & Grand Theft Auto, but they see a game like this and are all like: THINK OF THE CHILDREN! People and their double standards are hilarious.
I bought this game, not for the fan service(which does nothing for me because I'm gay + I don't get aroused by characters anyway). I bought it mainly for the gameplay, because fighting games/beat 'em ups are my favorite genre of games and there's hardly anything worth it on the 3DS.
The combat isn't too deep, the story is very cliché and like most beat 'em ups, it's quite repetitive(but that comes with the territory though).
I basically beat the story in Frantic mode almost exclusively and hardly had any difficulty(especially when you unlock the unlimited combos in that mode). The only thing that posed a challenge were the 2 secret unlockable characters.
I still play the game & enjoy it, and I'm currently waiting for the sequel, Deep Crimson, to see if it ever gets released in the US.
@ShadowFox254 That's what I'm hoping, I mean there really aren't too many males present(At least in Senran Kagura Burst), so they seem like the most logical.
@sinalefa Agreed. Code of Princess advertised many characters, but what they didn't say was that most of them don't even have a full moveset, some can't even jump -.-
Also I forgot to say in my previous post, I hope if they have another HUB area, they really need to fix the framerate in those, I don't even know why it's so slow, because for the most part in stages the framerate is consistent.
They also need to fix the framrate for a certain alternate form of a certain girl(trying to avoid spoilers), it was really jarring, which is sad because she is one of my favorites to use and her hair looked amazing while she had her awakened state.
Edit-^ Assuming she's even playable in that form in the sequel
This is great news.
I bought this game after reading good things about it & loved it.
As a fan of both fighting games and Sailor Moon-like transformations I welcome this game if it ever comes to North America(Which I hope it does, apparently it sold well in the US)
Also the male characters interest me, I kinda have an idea of who they might be, I wonder if they'll have jiggle physics too
SIGH , I was 15 coins short for Elite T.T I purchased 5 downloadable games(Sonic Blast, Super Mario Land 2 & 3, Wario Land 2 and Metroid 2), but the post play survey didn't come fast enough so I missed Elite rewards, I wanted the Majora's Mask CD, it's my favorite 3D Zelda game
Anyway, I got The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX , I originally had it for the Gameboy, but never beat it, so many years later I finally have it I already own Super Smash Bros.(on the original N64 cartridge) and Super Mario Land, and I don't have any interest on the rest, so Zelda seemed to be the most obvious choice for me
Not a fan of this color to be completely honest.
Much rather have a purple XL or a Project X Zone styled XL.
EDIT-Wait, I'd much rather have a Waluigi 3DSXL!
Heard about this a couple of days ago, so happy to see that it's true.
I loved the Scribblenauts games and i have Unlimited on the 3DS
Hopefully this time around the 3DS version gets an object editor and i also hope the levels are more challenging instead of a vocabulary test >.> BRING THE ACTION LEVELS BACK(even though you could probably beat them with a tiny RC helicopter and a giant invincible immovable fan).
What little interest i had in the game was completely thrown out of the window now. They had the perfect chance to support Gay marriage too, oh well. (Though even if it did have it, it probably wouldn't have been released in the US anyway )
As a Gay man myself i find this very nice, hopefully they'll fix the problem and allow Women to marry too.
If this comes out in the US then I'll probably support it, as long as the game itself is actually worth it.
I also hope the Gay interaction itself isn't the stereotype... Like the overly girly/flamboyant fashion expert gay guys with tight jeans and puking rainbows everywhere they go while listening to Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" >.> /slight stereotype rant.
Shame the English version(Ninja Council 3) took out some characters, I'm guessing because it would spoil it at the time(even though Kiba has "Wolf Fang" in the English version >.>)
Still, this is probably the best Naruto game for a Nintendo handheld...as bad as that sounds.

Re: Super-Secret Bases Confirmed for Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire
I knew this was going to happen, but being able to battle people as well is great.
Gen 3 is still my favorite gen, so I'm really hyped for this game after the disappointment that was the Gen 1 remake...I mean XY >_>

Re: Fancy Pattern Vivillon Now Available as Pokémon Global Trade Station Hits 100 Million Landmark
Good to know it reached the mark, at least we are getting something!
Seriously in terms of events this gen has been pretty disappointing, I mean what did we get besides Torchic & Celebi?
At least we are getting Diancie sooner or later.
Re: Vblank Entertainment Provides Sales Threshold Update for Retro City Rampage on WiiWare
Shame, it's a very nice game, I bought it on Wiiware awhile ago, and I'm going to buy the 3DS version soon to support him.
Everyone get that game, it's good nostalgic fun!
Re: Developer Hints At How Minecraft Could Shape Up On 3DS
I'll be willing to try it, but like the article mentioned, the 3DS isn't exactly the best thing for Minecraft.
These types of games are best on PC.
Re: One Piece Unlimited World Red Is Getting Some Free DLC In Europe
@FullbringIchigo Oh, I'm watching it on Hulu, they currently have 595 subbed episodes.
They have advertisements, but I can do other things in the house while waiting for the ads to end, so I don't mind it much
Re: One Piece Unlimited World Red Is Getting Some Free DLC In Europe
@Beta I see, that was definitely bad on their part then.

Re: Video: The Dubious Charm Of Senran Kagura Burst Is Explained In Thirty Slightly Awkward Seconds
@taffy There is actually a squid
One of the girl's special moves is a Squid.
Re: Video: The Top 20 Wii U Games So Far - Part One
Still haven't bought a Wii U yet, hardly anything interests me
Might end up buying it after MK8 & Smash bros. comes out though, I do like how it's getting GBA/DS support(they probably did that because it isn't doing well lol)
STILL WAITING FOR THE GBA SUPPORT ON THE 3DS BTW!
Re: Video: The Dubious Charm Of Senran Kagura Burst Is Explained In Thirty Slightly Awkward Seconds
Oh noes, boobs, hide yo children, hide yo wife.
Re: Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson Is Bouncing Towards Japanese 3DS Consoles This August
@ShadowFox254 That's what I'm hoping, I mean there really aren't too many males present(At least in Senran Kagura Burst), so they seem like the most logical.
Re: Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson Is Bouncing Towards Japanese 3DS Consoles This August
Re: Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson Is Bouncing Towards Japanese 3DS Consoles This August
This is great news.
I bought this game after reading good things about it & loved it.
As a fan of both fighting games and Sailor Moon-like transformations I welcome this game if it ever comes to North America(Which I hope it does, apparently it sold well in the US)
Also the male characters interest me, I kinda have an idea of who they might be, I wonder if they'll have jiggle physics too
Edit-By "this game" I meant Senran Kagura Burst
Re: Nintendo Reveals The 2013 Club Nintendo Elite Rewards
SIGH , I was 15 coins short for Elite T.T
I purchased 5 downloadable games(Sonic Blast, Super Mario Land 2 & 3, Wario Land 2 and Metroid 2), but the post play survey didn't come fast enough so I missed Elite rewards, I wanted the Majora's Mask CD, it's my favorite 3D Zelda game
Anyway, I got The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX , I originally had it for the Gameboy, but never beat it, so many years later I finally have it
I already own Super Smash Bros.(on the original N64 cartridge) and Super Mario Land, and I don't have any interest on the rest, so Zelda seemed to be the most obvious choice for me
Re: Luigi 3DS XL Model Dated and Priced for Japan
Not a fan of this color to be completely honest.
Much rather have a purple XL or a Project X Zone styled XL.
EDIT-Wait, I'd much rather have a Waluigi 3DSXL!
Re: Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure Set for Wii U and 3DS This Fall
Heard about this a couple of days ago, so happy to see that it's true.
I loved the Scribblenauts games and i have Unlimited on the 3DS
Hopefully this time around the 3DS version gets an object editor and i also hope the levels are more challenging instead of a vocabulary test >.>
BRING THE ACTION LEVELS BACK(even though you could probably beat them with a tiny RC helicopter and a giant invincible immovable fan).
Re: Rumour: Tomodachi Collection: New Life Update to Remove Same-Sex Marriage
What little interest i had in the game was completely thrown out of the window now.
They had the perfect chance to support Gay marriage too, oh well.
(Though even if it did have it, it probably wouldn't have been released in the US anyway )
Re: Tomodachi Collection: New Life Features Same-Sex Marriage For Men, But Not Women
As a Gay man myself i find this very nice, hopefully they'll fix the problem and allow Women to marry too.
If this comes out in the US then I'll probably support it, as long as the game itself is actually worth it.
I also hope the Gay interaction itself isn't the stereotype...
Like the overly girly/flamboyant fashion expert gay guys with tight jeans and puking rainbows everywhere they go while listening to Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" >.>
/slight stereotype rant.
Re: Level-5 Registers Three New Trademarks
Yep definitely getting Earth Devastating B-rank Girlfriend no matter what kind of game it is
Re: Review: Naruto: Saikyo Ninja Daikesshu 4 (DS)
Shame the English version(Ninja Council 3) took out some characters, I'm guessing because it would spoil it at the time(even though Kiba has "Wolf Fang" in the English version >.>)
Still, this is probably the best Naruto game for a Nintendo handheld...as bad as that sounds.
