@Ulysses There was a bit of soul searching I had to go through before taking that single rib approach on his wings. ...Essentially I couldn't find proof in any of the official art or animation that proved he had a rib there. It's wing were always very thin and look like they folded like thick sheets of leather. ...There are Pokemon that I illustrated as you have described them, but it didn't work for what I could find on Charizard. ....It was people asking about this sort of thing that sparked me including a 'Design Notes' section on the Instagram posts to help people understand my approach.
@Ikana64 You're right. - The logic with the shell omission was that I had to make a choice on what to show the viewer. In the case of Blastoise it was more important that the viewer saw the inner workings.
@Finlderp You're 100% right! That Pikachu tail ended up being revised after the Detective Pikachu trailers started showing up. ...It was clear that the bone was actually more narrow. ...Those revisions show up on my YouTube feed.
I first found these on Instagram! Great stuff! Awesome to see these show up on NintendoLife. - I suggest everyone listen to Mashups while the explore the drawing. Just seems fitting.
I’m surprised to see the difficulty keep getting discussed. It’s a tough game but it’s by no means unbeatable. - ...By now I’d say at least 30% of this game’s fame is the difficulty.

The cartridge helps deal with the huge amount of space some of these games require. ...and It would make no sense for Nintendo to go all digital after the library of content they have on game cards.
@Anti-Matter Wow! I've not been a PS guy for over a decade and had no idea. ...I don't think there's ever been a better reason to continue making games on cartridges. (So the cartridge supplies the needed memory) - Thanks for the pic!
What sort of numbers of fans are we talking? ...Perhaps 8 twitter accounts with 2-3 followers each? - I feel for the developers when they have to deal with blah noise like this.
I largely skipped Gen 7. ...until the Let’s Go Series came out and ended up being so much fun. - Now I may get the mainline game on 3DS just to do some catchup. — — — Does anyone think it’s possible that Gen 8 might be reminiscent of Brest Of The Wild? ...in that it could be open range? That would be amazing.
Looking through these comments you really get a feel for the divide between half-full and half-empty type people commenting. - How can you introverts not get a kick out of a digital Concert, attended by real people, that you can participate in from your couch!? This is nuts fun! ...As a previous commentator said: This is the Squid Sisters made real! 😎

@Reignmaker Glad you’re joining in. - I also have Into The Breach and loved that too. ...What did you think about Civ VI? ...I’ve yet to get it, but it looks solid.
@Mr_Pepperami Dude, jump in! Look at the love pored into this thing. - I’d be all about another AW game too, but since there’s not one... it’s great something like this (with all the care and respect that’s been put in it) finally exists! - This game feels like a WIN. ...#MGGA ...Making Games Great Again???
Eh... Minecraft? ...sigh. ...Did we cover a pseudo block builder with the addition of a Dragon Quest fighter? ...I’d much rather have a Hollow Knight in Smash. Minecraft just feels unimpressive.
This will be a wave similar to the LEGO movies. ...Which should work as long as the writers are good. Lots of potential withi interesting themes. ...A detective/mystery movie. An action/adventure movie. Suspense. A musical. ...These could all be great.
