Hopefully this means that they'll adopt the sales (especially for Virtual Console games), custom controllers (but obviously Nintendo-made), but not the lousy customer support :-/

It would have been nice to have these. Additionally, I'm hoping that the next generation of Nintendo Console/Handhelds/Hybrids includes them at a system level. Seriously Nintendo, look at what your competitors are doing right.

Also, for anyone who doesn't like achievement notifications, these could theoretically be disabled to appease achievement loving and achievement hating parties. The Xbox One, for instance, has this functionality.

Just curious, in what way do you prefer some of the older versions?

I've actually never watched PewDiePie, and don't plan to start. Quite frankly, I feel excessive YouTube coverage of game-play spoils the game. This issue won't affect the videos I watch in any way, shape, or form.

However, Nintendo's not taking the right approach and really should just appreciate the free advertising that YouTube creator's have provided them.

If you think people already have one, those same people (who may own an original 3DS/3DS XL) would probably prefer you release a REAL new handheld, and not a generation 1.5, barely noteworthy improvement.

I agree with Reggie's intent to sound bullish to investors. I disagree with him that the Wii U presents the best value in new home consoles.

It's unfortunate that the graphics won't be better. That's what annoys me with Nintendo's "half-gen" upgrades like the DSi and "New" 3DS (XL). They cost enough to warrant significant hardware improvements, but only provide minimal ones. Then new software often doesn't even take very good advantage of these hardware improvements.

Good - more processing power for enhancing the gameplay! I always leave the 3D switch in the "Off" position on my 3DS XL anyway...

This makes me want Nintendo to make games for smartphones even more - we'd be able to use our choice of wireless or wired controllers.

If only there was an option to get this set with a digital copy of the game. Having all my 3DS games installed on my SD card is SOOOO convenient.

Buying this with eShop points that were 20% off from Best Buy (after 5% off from Shop Discover, and in addition to Best Buy rewards credit) leaves more than enough money to buy a large enough SD card to fit this and several other big games.

I'd definitely like a written review! It can be a transcript of what you said in your video! Some people like to use their computer without sound...

Thanks for the heads-up! I was about to buy it used at Gamestop for $59.99 + tax, but always prefer games new. I'm looking forward to receiving my copy shortly
