Right now, between physical and digital, i have 288 games. And still growing. Waiting 4 physical games to be delivered to me and probably lots of digital games still to be bought. And it's not even my only console. Also nearly 300 games on Xbox (without including gamepass) and 40 games for ps4 (yeah... i use it mainly for exclusives like Guilty Gear Xrd and Strive).
But yeah, switch still have lots of live. And whatever they do next, i expect to be like switch: portable and home. Because after the switch i need more than ever an hybrid system. If the next Nintendo console is not hybrid i will be dissapointed. Switch is just a masterpiece.

The collector's edition preorders goes live right when i end todays work. It's destiny. Yeah, i'm picking up the collector's edition. It's so pretty... right now i'm waiting also for the collector's edition for deathsmiles 1 & 2.

I am a Metalhead. And a Nintendo fan. I love Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Metroid, Earthbound... But i also love Slayer, Sepultura, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse... what's the problem?

Do you see what you sound like? Every have it's market share and YOU ARE NOT this one as i am not the market share for games with a 5 hours story without replayability. Some people can have fun, and will have fun, with titles like shmups. And Sol Cresta definitely looks a top tier shmup. You don't like the asking price? Okay, don't buy it. But don't go on a "i am superior being because my taste is better than those who pay his asking price for this game". You know what? I really hope they never drop the price for this game. Then none of the likes of you will ever play it and taste the great fun games like this can give you
Yeah, 40$ is pricey. But i prefer 40$ in a very polished niche game than 70$ in a somewhat lenghty but not so polished but highly marketable game.

@Specter_of-the_OLED it's worth every penny. Trust me. I can't stop playing it since day one. One of the best shmups in switch library.
A few days ago they updated the "best shmups on switch" list and my first thought was "where is Eschatos?". Now i understand why. Because they were still reviewing it.

You MUST add R-Type Final 2, Project Starship X, Eschatos.

Eschatos, Radirgy Swag and, of course, SNK vs Capcom Duel Cards that launched yesterday.

Probably his next game will be his last. And probably it will be something of a personal project, something he thinks he deserves a new chance. Probably a new rebirth of a dead nintendo franchise or something totally new and experimental. Who knows.

Project Starship X. Really. Is so great, it has lots of replay value and is always on sale. You should not pass on him. I've played like 50 hours on it and love every inch of it.

Right now, is an awful deal. I already abandoned my animal crossing. The N64 games i already own them for my n64 (except for winback, but is an awful game). I own the Mega Drive collection for switch. What i am paying for? Being able to play my games online with someone stupid enough to pay.

Espgaluda, of course. The shoot'em'up library on the switch is becoming more and more legendary. And there's still Dodonpachi and Dethsmiles coming. And G-Darius the 28th, Raiden IV the 30th... I can't believe how many all-time greatest shoot'em ups are coming.
Now we also need R-Type 3 and R-Type Delta.

I already have space invaders collection, bought through the japanese eshop a year ago. They recently updated that version to add the new games added to the collection, so...

Nintendo switch is becoming the best console for shoot'em'up fans. Xbox 360, Dreamcast and Sega Saturn were in the past the ones with that title, but wow. Switch is really becoming the ultimate platform for the genre.

Half of the games on other consoles that weights more than 100 gb are due to poor optimititation, not because are bigger games.

@Gerald there was a japanese discount. It was a 30% but made it fairer. I bought the arcade collection on the japanese eshop with the discount. Totally worth it.

@Jey887 it is. Those 4 people who had played (me included) know that Outer Wilds is the best indie game of all time, the best game of the decade and one of the best games ever. Period. It's incredible. And i am not a fan of walking simulators (which is kind of).

Really. Everyone should play Outer Wilds. Is a life changer game that deserves every praise that it gets.

Thinking in cold, maybe is not the best game of the decade because of botw, but gets close.

@WillKafka even if you make sense, we learned something along the way: Sakurai choices doesn't make sense, they doesn't follow any rules and they are totally unpredictable. So, if something makes sense to happen, it won't probably happen.

@FargusPelagius random fighting game? Terry is from SNK and one of the biggest fighting games out there and Kazuya is from the biggest 3D fighting game. Random fighting games? They are icons in the fighting games! Random would be... let's say Bad Mr. Frosty from Clayfighters or Mudman from World Heroes. But calling Ryu, Ken, Terry and Kazuya random is like calling Mario a "Random platformer game".

For me i am just buying Dariusburst and Cotton Reboot. I am just hoping they announce G-Darius HD for Europe. And waiting patiently for Dethsmiles, Dodonpachi and Espgaluda. Great system for shumps fans.

@KingMike i don't think so. Esp ra de psi was released some time ago in japan (two years?), and the port was made by m2. Livewire seems to have faith in pal and americas, but m2 doesn't. But at least you can set up a japanese account and with a prepaid card you can buy it. Is not like you need a lot of japanese knowledge.

Btw, someone knows if G-Darius HD is going to make it overseas? Dariusburst is coming next month, but G-Darius doesn't seem to follow the same trend

@MrFox ooppss. But, also buy Crimzon Clover. Best version, also. Someday will come to Steam, but meanwhile, Switch exclusive and one of the best bullet hells ever.

@MrFox it's better than Ikaruga. Lot of people say that Ikaruga is "bullet hell everrrr" but it isn't.
This version includes Original, Arrange, 1.5 and a new one called Novice (easier as the name suggest). Each version has it's own 3 difficulties (Normal, Maniac and Ultra) and 1.5 has another setup in top that let's you begin fully powered in exchange to enemies firing a lot more.

Besides that, has training mode and time attack mode, TATE and nearly 20 different wallpapers. You can even made the wallpapers change every few minutes to have them vary.

It is a really good version. Probably the better.

Yeah, as you can see, the last year was the last time a game made it into my list.

@sanderev 99%? VB Wario Land, Teleroboxer, Jack Bros, Space Squash, Red Alarm, Vertical Force were excelent. Insmouse no Yakata, Galactic Pinball, Mario's Tennis, V Tetris, Panic Bomberman and Virtual Fishing were Good. The rest (the 8 that i did not list) were okay, except Waterworld and Virtual Lab that were absolutely terrible.
