Wow, thanks for the review, cancelling my pre-order then, sadly. Probably will get it when it's all patched up though.

Fishing and Survival are added free of charge for the Switch version of the base game with the latest patch, I believe. At least I have them now for some reason, without ever buying the AE upgrade from the eShop.

Can't believe you left out Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (and its Torna DLC), MDA: Rain Code and Bayonetta Origins of this list, while including Advance Wars and Super Mario RPG remakes which are technically not Switch exclusives.

I highly recommend getting the DLC Pass, the new modes and characters add so much more variety and replayability to the already content-packed game.

Too bad the game is delayed on Switch, but I'm still getting the physical edition when it does finally come out.

Damn, that's unfortunate, was looking forward to playing this upon release. But maybe it's for the better since I have a huge backlog of Switch games, and haven't even started Unicorn Overlord yet.

Finally "rumours" from more or less plausible sources. Can't wait for the actual announcement now.

Meh, I just want My Hero One's Justice 3 with Mt Lady, Ryukyu and Lady Nagant added to the roster.

Can't decide on just one character: Ivy and Alcryst from FE Engage, Tulin, Purah and Zelda from TotK, Yuma and Halara from Rain Code, Morgana from Bayo Origins, Psaro and Rose from DQ Monsters, Temenos and Osvald from Octopath Traveler 2.

Meh, most of those are too niche and too indie for my liking. The actually underrated Switch releases would include Bayo Origins, FE Engage, Rain Code and DQ Monsters.

The best box art this year belongs to FE Engage and Bayo Origins, imo. The same could be said about the best icon though.

Pretty solid list, but I feel like MH Stories 2, Ys VIII, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Skyrim, The Witcher 3 CE, Ni No Kuni 2, Baten Kaitos I & II HD, DQ Monsters, Trials of Mana and Shining Resonance Refrain should be somewhere on it too. Also, why no mention of Fire Emblem games??

Imo, this list is severely lacking (or downright outdated), what with the absence of KOF XIII, Persona 4 Arena, DNF Duel, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure R, Demon Slayer, Melty Blood: Type Lumina, My Hero One's Justice 2, and Naruto Storm Connections.

FE Engage and Star Ocean SS R are the best Switch RPGs for me, sorry not sorry.

FE Engage is only at number 30? Lower than unremarkable Advance Wars and overrated Sea of Stars? Lol, this must be a joke.

FE Engage, Bayo Origins and Future Redeemed should be on this list, instead of some of those niche titles.

Why no Naruto Storm Connections and DNF Duel on this list? They are both 2023 releases.
