@Purgatorium "There is no such thing as unskilled labour. You think they don't train their employees? You think you could get an edible pizza if labour wasn't skilled?"

Anything you can learn to do with a couple of hours of on-the-job training does not qualify as skilled labor. Look at it this way: the more easily you can be replaced by the next random guy who walks in off the street, the less skilled the labor.

@TheBeardiest "Crazy idea here, but instead of contests and prizes, they could try paying people an actual living wage?"

Crazy idea here, but instead of trying to make a career out of entry level jobs that require little in the way of skill, experience, or education, people could use them as a stepping stone to earn their way into better paying jobs. Seriously, people should stop expecting to be paid top dollar to do menial work that is so simple even a trained monkey could do it. You want better pay? Then prove to an employer that you're worth it.

@KateGray I'm not sure why you think retreating to a pergola is somehow easier for the uncoordinated than the foolproof method of catching wasps that has been been described by others (equip net, stand in front of tree, shake tree, swing net; you don't even need to move your character). Seems to me that racing across your island while avoiding obstacles and then entering the narrow doorway of a pergola, all with zero room for error, would pose a considerably greater challenge for those lacking fine motor skills.

"It’s so fun to see players out there really enjoying what we’ve put together for them. I’m honestly enjoying this unparalleled level of scrutiny on our studio. Today we are celebrating our monumental project launch, while we work on updates."

The guy sounds like he's living in an alternate universe given that this is easily the most derided release since Cyberpunk 2077.

@creativeusernamehere Fewer intro animations is a feature, not a bug.

But, yes, audio cues for some things would be nice, or at least a text message telling you that your character failed to pick a lock, for example.

But regardless, I'm having a lot of fun replaying it and finding it just as enjoyable as when I first played it 20 years ago.
