Re: Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Is Being Ported To The PlayStation 4 And PC

@SBandy My annoyance is more towards the company than the game itself being ported. If at launch they announced it as a time exclusive, I wouldn't be annoyed at all. I just want companies to be honest and upfront with their consumer base. I buy lots of third party games on Switch, but the reason I'm on it is for the exclusives.
What is so wrong about wanting developers to be honest with the people buying their games? I bought Valkyria 4 collectors edition on Switch as an example. That was available on all platforms, but I bought it on Switch. I'm fine with that because they didn't try to trick their audience on saying it's available on only one platform then backpedaling later on.

@SBandy As long as Nintendo keeps their IPs, I'll stay with Nintendo. It's these loss of exclusives that have me worried that they might eventually multi-plat first party exclusives. Cuphead was never an exclusive, because it was on PC as well. It was a console exclusive, but not a true exclusive. I only care about true exclusives, game that are only on a single platform.

Re: Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Is Being Ported To The PlayStation 4 And PC

@SBandy you don't understand because you are unwilling to see another person's take on this. I care about exclusives. I only buy consoles for exclusives. Two got taken away, and is making me concerned that this could be the future of Nintendo. Nintendo got a new boss, so we don't know yet how things will turn out yet.
My retort to you is, why would someone over the age of 10 call someone an idiot, and tell them to get a life, over games?

Re: Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Is Being Ported To The PlayStation 4 And PC

@yuwarite Yes, and you make the best argument out of all these people. However, I don't like how they are treating consumers. You know I never once in my life bought an EA game? Because they treat their consumer base like trash. I don't support dishonest developers. If they want it to be multi-plat, that's fine with be, but they need to speak up before it launches. The only guess I can get is if it was going be a switch exclusive, but they couldn't keep it as such for the lack of sales. However, if that was the case, they could have said that too

@yuwarite I feel like no one is reading my whole comments, lol. I will say this only one more time, and will cap the important part so everyone notices it and stops talking about the same thing.
I DONT MIND TIMED EXCLUSIVES IF THEY ARE UPFRONT ABOUT IT. I AM ANNOYED BECAUSE THEY WERENT. THEY SAID IT WAS AN EXCLUSIVE AND THEN LATER TOOK IT AWAY. THAT IS THE PROBLEM I HAVE. IF YOU SAY ITS AN EXCLUSIVE, DONT TAKE IT AWAY LATER. IF YOU WANT IT TO BE A TIMED EXCLUSIVE, THEN BE HONEST WITH YOUR PLAYER BASE AND LET THEM KNOW BEFORE THE GAME COMES OUT.
(Again, I capped so everyone notices, because I'm being asked the same thing over and over.)

@MsJubilee I only care about consoles for exclusives. If the game industry gave up on exclusives, I would give up on consoles. It's not being childish, MANY people care for exclusives. I'm fine with games being for all systems, ONLY if it was first announced as such, or be honest and say it will be a timed exclusive. What I hate is when they lie and say it's only for one platform, and then later reveal it to only be a timed exclusive. It's not being honest. If they want it to be multi-plat, then say it from the beginning. If they want it to be an exclusive, keep it as such forever.

Re: Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Is Being Ported To The PlayStation 4 And PC

@Borngis I disagree. Im only a console player for exclusives. If the console industry gave up on exclusives, I would toss all current and future consoles and never buy them again. I care about Sony exclusives, and I care about Nintendo exclusives. We shouldn't be able to play each other's games. Want Sony IPs? Get a PlayStation. Want Nintendo IPs? Get a Switch. Sure, we don't lose the game to play, but we do lose it as an exclusive, And that's the point I care about.

Re: Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Is Being Ported To The PlayStation 4 And PC

Is this how third parties plan to treat Nintendo when they aren't paying for their games? I'm already sick of these timed exclusive games. First Octopath, and now Travis Strikes Again? Stop getting rid of our exclusives. The minute Switch loses all of its exclusives, is the minute I toss it out the window. PS4 and PC has enough games. Let Switch build up it's library.

@Trajan Oh, ok. Well, that's why you can't find anyone online, lol. The ps4 version got swamped behind all the bigger games that came out, and the Anthem controversy. Literally I saw many ps4 users say "wait, God Eater 3 came out?" and "There is a third one?". Quite a few people that would have bought it, didn't even know it existed, because it wasn't being talked about, because of all the bigger games.

Re: Bandai Namco Announces God Eater 3 Switch Demo, Will Support Local Multiplayer

@Trajan Monster Hunter is more simplistic, and some people are attracted to it's base system value. You are a Hunter, killing monsters to save villagers and make some coin. You aren't some super powered hero in Monster Hunter, unlike how in God Eater you have super strength, faster reflexes, and better recovery than average humans. In Monster Hunter, you char is only as good as the weapons and armor he/she has. Don't have good gear? Going to be a lot more hell on your fights with the tougher Monsters. It's a mix between skill, timing, and weapon farming. With how much you can do in the game, it really does give you that simulation of being a Hunter, finding your own way to hunt.

I love both Monster Hunter and God Eater. They have similarities, but I think they are both good in their own right. God Eater is better for faster action and more story, while Monster Hunter is better for the simulation of being a warrior. Least, that's how I see it.

@Vepra If you never played a jrpg before, or watched anime, I guess I could see how it could be difficult to tell differences between animation styles. However, even if to you they look the same, trust me when I say that each Jrpg series (or game if it doesnt have a series) has its own unique story and gameplay. Sure, there are bad Jrpgs, just like any other genre. However, playing recommendations from long time Jrpg gamers could be a way to start into them.

I also am one of those people who hate most most pixel based games. (90's kid) The only pixel games I love are Azure Striker Gunvolt, Gunvolt Burst, and I know I will love Candence of Hyrule when that releases. Really Gunvolt is the only pixel based game I really find amazing. The reason is that modern games (to me anyway) have demolished their older titles in the series. A Link Between Worlds I like more than A Link to The Past---Wind Waker and Twilight Princess I like more than any of the retro zeldas(though I still love OoT and MM) ----Donkey Kong Country Returns I like more than the classical DKC---exc.

Day one buy for me. To any God Eater veterans, Does the anime only go over the first game, or does it go over the first game and its dlc campaign (God Eater Burst 1 or called Resurrection for remake) ?

Basically I just want to know how much story is covered by the anime, to see if I can skip Resurrection and watch the anime, so I can get to Burst 2 quicker. However, I want the full story, so if it doesn't go with burst story as well, I will play Ress too.
