I'm curious... does anyone know if Wii U will be getting Mass Effect 1+2 ports, or are are those games too awesome for Wii U?

An unprecedented partnership witholding two major licences, and you can't develop a work around in the PS3/360 ballpark? Something funny there. Columbo is not required for this case.

The rumor that sounds likely is $500 for Nextbox, or $300 with a 2 year online subscription.

Well, I see blame on both sides. EA are jerks in the video game world, and Nintendo is constantly behind the tech 8-ball. I guess it's a matter of how much farther Mario, Zelda, and the moldy oldies can carry them.

Again, a better thought out Nintendo archive in the VC could be killer, but as it stands, it's just limping along, not making a great case for WiiU.

I'd love to see a new 2D Streets of Rage. SOR II was definitely one of my most played games on the Genesis.

I smell a petty Vendetta. Like with Madden, exclusivity is for the birds.

Not good if DICE isn't impressed with the Wii-U, which they're apparently not. I'd rather see LEGO in front of future Star Wars games, frankly.

If the Wii-U gets the ambassador GBA games, and GBA doesn't come to 3DS, I will never buy another Nintendo product again.

This sounds like the same case made for Sega Genesis over NES. Yet, Mario continues to stand.

I think I've thrown in the towel on VC. Neither are what they could or should be. Some strange decisions by Nintendo. The glow around Earthbound is fascinating. An old game that diehards are looking forward to, yet it should be something of an 'oh, cool', just another good old game on VC. It's just not a Wii-U showcase, or system mover by any stretch.

There appears to be a dent in this quality over quantity claim.

Well, I will not own a Wii-U unless someone gives me one, but I would buy SNES games on 3DS. I also know there are people that would buy for both platforms. Zombies Ate My Neighbors on portable... let's do it big N!

After Mass Effect 3, which I just couldn't do without, I washed my hands of EA's garbage. I'm not familiar with FIFA, but concerning sports games, EA is generally out classed anyway. Just need to get their grubby mitts off the NFL license, as fans are getting screwed here.

As to Gummy Bears, this was apparently Wiiware over a year ago, and it's somewhat surprising they didn't clean up the technical problems.

How about a Battle of the Planets RPG? Would love to see those characters beyond a fighting game.

Well said. There's something for everybody, and different perspectives are refreshing.

It seems I'm a G.I.Joe: Rise of Cobra game, one person fan club. Maybe that makes me special, a sort of, chosen one, when we're invaded by some evil galactic race of world destroying tentacle monsters, or something.

Planning on getting River King today, so some of that, and I'm kind of in a Fatal Frame II mood.

Yeah, I haven't seen anything to suggest Spotpass content is time limited. You're going to get lots of goodies!

Yeah, the competition is sorely needed. The setup currently is a negative for consumers all around.

I could do without the cheesecake pandering altogether. I already bought the Scramble bundle, so hopefully the map is fun.

I think it hurts Nintendo as well, because a not having a predictable giant 3rd party title like this makes the console look third rate... again.

I'm not sure most Nintendo owners own more than one console. I don't have stats, but I highly, highly doubt most console owners own more than one.

The discount tempts me. I've been on the fence about this one because I'm not sure if it's a complicated fighting system, remembering 7 directions and buttons to pull off a move.

@Pichuka97 That's the thing. One thing after another, after another.. No way I'll white knight EA, and the excuseses are nothing but speculation at this time (no 3DS?), but Nintendo is stumbling here as well, and this is another black eye.

And this NFL exclusivity deal needs to die bad, clearly.

Light/Dark is great news. It was my favorite feature.

NFL2K was the superior franchise, anyway.

I got Pushmo for 5 bucks a few weeks ago. I can't praise it enough. Tons of puzzles, make your own, and it's so easy. It's fun to create something wild in seconds, then test it out. It's very casual, and the best part... no time limits! Enjoy it at your own pace.

There's just different things for different people.

Often times people are just lemons, and parenting doesn't always influence an outcome one way or another. It's much more difficult today to shelter your kids from the muck than say, 50 years ago. Then, when parents do try and cut off their kids from internet, movies games, they're labeled as puritanical kooks or something.

There are no blanket, easy answers here. We definitely want government out of this area, but at the same time, we need to look at ourselves as a society, and realise there's a lot of criticism to go around.

I wonder if anyone thought of sueing Sega back in the day over their baloney 'blast processing' adverts for Genesis. Sonic was blast processing and Mario racing was putt putt puttering. As a kid, I sure was impressed though!
