It has nothing to do with liking or not liking Nintendo games. Here's your problem... your made up definition of 'cash cow'.

Your quote - "Annually spitting out the same game with virtually no upgrade is a cadh cow."

Here is the definition I gave you.

My quote - "In business, a cash cow is a product or a business unit that generates unusually high profit margins: so high that it is responsible for a large amount of a company's operating profit"

My (copy paste) definition can be found. Yours cannot.

It's not a negative. It simply means a particular product that does unusually well, in relation to other products of that business. Mario, and Mario related games do this. Individually and/or as system sellers, which actually compounds it's cash cowishness.

Re: Review: LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (Wii U)

I like it. Superman and the John Williams score... awesome. The Justice League, great. But why so late game? It's disappointing that many of the characters are reskins of one another.

I LOVE the 1st Lego Batman. The unlockable characters were more fun to use. I give you Poison Ivy as just one example. In the 1st, she blew a poison mist from her mouth, but even better, she had the hilarious 'kiss of Death that never got old. Look how absolutely dull she is in the 2nd. And it was also pretty neat in the 1st to replay all the levels from the villains perspective.

I don't know if the Wii-U roster basically matches the other consoles, but it was easy to see DC Super Heroes was kind of rushed. The 3DS version has a superior roster.. 85 characters I believe.

Don't give up. I started out simply as a way of expression, and I didn't care if it sucked or not. Through time, experience just naturally grows from experimenting, and listening to other's music. With today's software, and patience with learning the software, anyone can find their own personal groove. Classic sense of musicianship is not required. Just express yourself, and the handy dandy software can clean up the rough edges.

This is also kind of cool because I've never owned a Korg synth, though I always kind of wanted an M1. I've owned an Ensoniq ESQ-1, SQ-1 workstation, Roland D-50, a Yamaha DX 11, and an old Roland Boss drum machine.

Well, now I can have something Korg related, anyway.

Darn, this would have been incredibly cool for composing on the go. I suppose it could still be useful to whip out and noodle out an idea. Inspiration comes from the strangest places. My folder is filled with a couple hundred VSTs, and they're all freeware (legal).

<-- Cheapo. Though I have been considering buying Microtonic for years now.
