@datamonkey Stellar Blade will come to Switch for sure, the rest of the stuff you mentioned doesnt sound appealing, at least not to me. And i doubt anyone has the time to play all the stuff they want on 1 console, let alone more.

Il tell you this, the rest you can draw conclusions yourself: i sold my PS5. Not needed anymore.

@dskatter you guys have no idea. The game is 60gb on steam if you remove all languages besides english, so yes, it could have fit and still have HQ assets. Have other languages as free download just like Cyberpunk. And no, Game Cart is not too slow, Rebirth works perfectly of regular micro sd card (about 5 times slower) on Steam Deck.

@Charmiley same, i also have ps1 and ps2. Investing in ps5 and games would only add preassure.

@OmnitronVariant you are not. I like the Remake, it has great gameplay and thats the only thing thats better then OG, but OG is better in all other areas, esspecially tone, story and atmosphere. Remake series is just "too happy".

Nah, im fine with my Switch 2, barely enough time to play whats released here and the Switch 1 backlog.

@HugoGED ahhh sorry my bad, its just that many people online claim that games have been key cards on PS for decades because they see "downloading" when disc is inserted, and all it means is that data is downloaded from physical disc to console storage. But fanboys love to twist it to show Switch 2 key cards in better light.

@HugoGED nope, more then 90% PS5 games have data on the disk and can be played AND finished without connecting PS5 to internet. Please educate yourself

If you can consume your favorite hobby on just 1 console, then you know that console is successful. Even with all the Game Key Cards i think Switch 2 is sufficent and PS5 isnt needed, esspecially now when even triple A stuff is coming.

@GrumpyNintendoFan @Solid_Python outside of their control? Mario Kart World is 90e in europe, no discount, ever, other games are 80e, game key cards across the board. Even new game key titles are priced the same as true physicals. Of course economy is in crumbles but PS5 was selling like crazy here in europe in november and december, cheaper consoles + cheaper first partBly games = win. Source? Me, i work at the game store. People are laughing here at Nintendo prices. No mother is paying 90e for a Mario Kart game.

Tryed it and it was great. But man, if they couldnt pull this one at atleast 40fps or 1440p Rebirth is gonna be tough. It was bad on PS5.

Are game cards also Nand? Will this affect them also? I imagine even more publishers will opt for game key cards. Blu ray remains the winner.

People just spread misinformation. S2 Edition already has both S1 and upgrade pack on card. The update is for S1 Edition, for people who bought the S1 edition and want digital upgrade.

Seriously man, 0 Xenoblade Switch 2 Editions is depressing, this franchise is the whole reason i jumped ship from PS to Nintendo permanently!

This guy is just spouting nonsense after nonsense. First how game key cards are great for consumers, and now this. Rebirth is nothing like BOTW, the game is pure Ubisoft slop with checklists and climbing towers. There is 0 mystery and 100% cringe.

And game is full on cart on S2! Meanwhile Square Enix...

@datamonkey not everyone wants to resell the game, people want to keep and own the game.

@Charlirnie nope, game keys replaced regular catridges, there are games released on switch 2 in code in a box format. I still think this game will flop because of game key format but we will see.

Honestly i don't see the point of this release. Most people that wanted to play it, played it on PS4 or PS5, the game performs worse then PS5 version, it's a Game Key Card which won't appeal to almost anyone, even if you don't care for preservation or game ownership this game is gonna take a while to download + eat more then 1/3 of your memory space.

If it was a proper catridge then i'm sure many people would double dip, including me, otherwise il stick to my proper PS5 physical disc. And i don't care if the game is 90 gb, they could have cut all the extra languages and it would be 60gb (like on Steam). The game performs great there (Rebirth also) with much slower read speeds then catridge so that whole argument is out of the windows aswell.

I think this game will flop and Rebirth might not even release. Square Enix is gonna regret it with all these Game Key Carts. People that game on Nintendo very much love physical media above all else.
