This looks absolutely gorgeous. I think they are choosing a Retro/Modern JRPG route, kinda like Octopath. Day one buy.

Do I have to make a new save? Is there more content besides Multiplayer?

I understood something different from what I read. They said they wouldn't jeopardize their company with new projects, that they would have to be more than certain to invest money on a new IP.

This is why I'll hold for at least 1,2 years before I buy famous(ish) indie games. Can't keep buying games just to see them on retail in a couple of months, it's frustrating...

I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Shame there's no english version..

Which one is better, Shinning or Ys VIII? I feel like they are pretty similar, but so far Ys seems to be the better game.

I`d bet Belgium or France will win the World Cup, but England is doing a decent job with very good but young players.

I think a celebration funny dance is always nice, as long as it`s not offensive..

@BlueOcean I don't really like the idea of using another companie's controller, but the Xbox controller was my favorite by far( I had a 360 and the controller was the best one I've ever used )

I've used it mostly Docked and it seems to be fine. The Joy-Con, on the other hand, is not well made at all. The aim keeps coming down on its on(right one), and the left one also wanders on its own. I've removed the stick cap and that somewhat helped, even though I cant put it back in perfectly lol. That made me wanna buy a Pro Controller.

I can see people over 24(more or less) rushing to buy it. I didn`t buy it because it was not for sale where I live( I bought Super Mario Odyssey instead ), but I`ll get it for sure in a short while...

IF you like Football games, FIFA is pretty good. I play Ultimate Team and I do just like @HalfAWorldAway , I just don't spend real money on it.

Loot boxes is a delicate subject, but in retrospect I didn't have access to a credit card when I was a kid, so maybe the parents should be a little more hands on? I don't have a kid, so I might be wrong lol...

Streaming games? Yeh, that won`t work in the majority of places in the world.. There are days even Netflix doesn`t work around here...

I have yet to finish Yo-kai Watch 2. It`s a fun game, but it scratches the hell outta my N3DS screen lol.

They should just do a HD of 1,2,3 for Switch like a Final Remix type of thing.

@ArcanaXVI You sir are very eloquent, and now I understand why touch controls are so important for this game. I havent found TWEWY for sale in my country, so I`d have to import it, which could in fact be more expensive than the Switch version. I will wait for it to release to decide if I`ll get the Switch version or if I`ll hunt down the DS version. I will not get the special version, though( the price of the Dollar here is absurd lol )

@BLD Well, like I said, I never played the original, so I have no idea what you`re talking about. I just didnt like the notion of touch controls, and I never really saw it for sale( I never had a DS, only a 3DS )

I`ve wanted to play this game for years, but I was never to enthused about the touch controls. When Nintendo announced this would come to Switch with normal controls, it became a day one buy for me.

Cant wait to play it!

I`ll play some Minecraft, Rocket League( The event is still going ), Pokemon Moon and probably some Football Manager 2018 Touch ( Every World Cup match I watch makes wanna play it lol )

I wasn`t really good at this type of game when I was younger, and that hasn`t changed. So it`s a pass for me lol...

Nintendo`s presentation was awesomely mishandled. They spent almost half of their "Direct", which was the main announcement, showing in depth details of Smash, and then just showed Smash non stop in the treehouse for 3 days.

Just to be clear, I really like Smash and I'll buy it, but they way they handled E3 was abhorrent.

The High of this year's E3 was Nintendo's Life Chat for sure lol

@Haywired I used to prefer PES til` PS4, to be honest, but now FIFA is actually a better game(I`ve played since late 90s). EA sucks hairy balls, but hey, they just gave us a free World Cup update instead of charging or making a new game just for it.

GameFreak is using this game as a stepping stone into the High Definition Era, so it's completely understandable.

Graphics wise, I'm pretty stunned. It's looking more and more like what I Imagined back in the 90's...

I`m guessing a yellow/blue remake. Well, give me full reign about which gym I challenge first, make them actually difficult battles, like getting a gym badge means something, and I`ll be a happy camper. No need to change how battling works.

@sandman89 I`ve played soccer games since Winning Eleven, and I thinkt FIFA 18 is pretty good. I`d buy it given the price and the free World Cup update coming in a few days. The bad thing is there doesn`t seem to be a way of playing with your friends? Not really sure, don`t know anyone who owns the game
