NBA Playgrounds has had its fair share of problems - including a complicated and convoluted wait for the online update on the eShop that left plenty of players and potential owners confused - but there was a silver lining to all that bother. Those that owned and played the game prior to its big update will be able to pick up Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn - which launches today - on the eShop for free.
Sure, it might be a sequel to one of the worst games ever made, but you can hardly sniff at a brand new game with a 100% discount from day one. Log onto the eShop and the discount should already be applied (if you meet the above requirement).

I've watched some of the gameplay before release and I must say, it is very politically incorrect and hilarious. It looks like they did a great job and I'm looking forward to playing it.
Im in est timezone and i dont see shaq fu 2 on eshop anywhere? Has anyone dowbloaded it yet??

@MaxlRoseGNR The Switch seems to have many varied release times. 2PM is standard store update. Though we have had games release midnight, 2AM, 10AM and even 10PM. Don't get it either.

The original Shaq Fu is not one of the worst games of all time. The concept itself seems to have given it the bad rep more than the gameplay. It wasn't a good game, but there are hundreds of much worse ones.
EDIT: Downloading for free now. Lets see if its any good.

I've been playing Shaq Fu for an hour or so and I'm really enjoying it. Combat is fun, music is excellent and some decent comedy. Very good game.
Nice to get the game for free but I am finding it pretty generic. Probably won’t stay on my Switch long.

my left joycon is acting weird in this game and only in this game. weird. anyone else has the same problem?
