I hate the Fortnite franchise. It feels so repetitive and devoid of any real challenge or story. The fanbase is insufferable as well. My nephew and my brother play it constantly and they could never convince me of its so called qualities. When they aren’t playing it, they watch YouTube videos and watch others play it. It’s just absurd and I’m grateful I never fell for its shallow trappings.

@Petriebird there were some great games on the Wii but yeah, the hardware could’ve been loads better.

Loved the gamecube with all my heart when I had it; great controllers, great games, great memories.

Good to see it got shot down; Kingdom Hearts is the worst, its fandom even more so.

I don’t care much for most multiplayer content in games save for select titles such as Super Smash Bros. Seeing Nintendo scrap additional one player content for Mansion leaves me feeling a bit sour to be honest. Still- LM3 was wonderful and I am grateful to have it in my collection. Definitely one of my favorite releases so far.

Platinum Games makes spectacular content and to see them wanting to branch out is fiscally a unique move but I don’t think Nintendo will like the idea. -grabs popcorn- let’s see what happens next...

Loved the first two games on GameCube, three was a treat on the WiiU.

Hoping we get a port of the trilogy and news of part four in the days ahead! I don’t want this franchise to disappear!

Looks a bit interesting; may grab it once on sale.

I’ve gotten over the addition of Byleth but I certainly hope it’s the last Fire Emblem character to be added to the game. I’m cautiously optimistic for the second season of DLC and hopeful a third season is also on the way. (Yeah, it’s a greedy assumption but I can dream, can’t I?)

@Rhaoulos Other M was a travesty if we are being honest here. Federation Force was crap as well. Nintendo left a couple of blemishes on the enduring franchise and to see them go back to square gives me both shivers of eager anticipation and slight angst. We shall see what surfaces once it’s finally released...

I am still hoping we get an HD Trilogy collection to whet our appetites before the main course, so speak. I’m also hoping chapter four exceeds our overwhelming expectations. I adore the Metroid line of games and hope we get many more entries in the years ahead. Good luck, DICEman- we are counting on you.

I never understood the love for this series. Pretty dull and repetitive from what I remember playing during the Gamecube days. I prefer games with solid gameplay mechanics, puzzles, sweeping scores and engrossing narratives. Life simulators and bland shooters bore me to my core.

The Shovel Knight and Shantae franchises are my favorite indie games of all time. Their music is sublime, the gameplay/lore is exquisite and the cheeky humor is dynamite. I cannot wait to see what Yacht Club and Wayforward Games come up with next in the days ahead. I will always love and support them no matter what!
