Did it really though? Because I'm looking at the numbers of other previous MK games andMK8 doesnt stack up well....even with the free game giveaway. DK: Tropical Freeze hasnt even sold a million either yet.

Sorry but ppl need to realize that the Wii U is a dead platform outside of 1st party games and no publisher is going to bend over backwards for an install base that doesnt buy games.

I can't really blame them. Sales for this game are going to be really low with or without the DLC. Nintendo's 1st party games aren't even selling well on the Wii U.

Let's just hope its a good port and worth the wait for the few that have been waiting for this game.

I cant really blame them. There's an infinite install base with phones and that demographic buys 3rd party games unlike Nintendo fans.

It makes too much sense for Nintendo to put this on VC in various regions.

I'm still confused about why this stuff didnt happen with their current gen hardware. I imagine ppl are tired of paying for the same game twice or seeing both the Wii U and 3DS have an overlap in software such as DK games and Mario titles that use the same assets.

This might just be the best local multiplayer console of all-time.

This should have been a game that they pursued a long time ago. It sells very well and matches their target demographic.

But this is probably a sign that its not happening. Miyamoto wouldn't have suggested a possibility if it was actually going to. Its just not the way him or Nintendo operate these days.

It didnt work for the Wii so its not going to work for the Wii U....but of course they have to say this.The best thing Nintendo can do at this point is keep releasing great 1st party software and keep their loyal following satisfied until they hit the reset button next gen.

I'd like 3rd party games to play on the Wii U since the majority of my games for it are made by 3rd parties, but I have no issue with what the Wii U is right now.

They have my attention.

That's not necessarily a good thing. A lot of talent has left Capcom over the years and Capcom has shifted a lot of their resources to mobile.

The scenario a lot of Nintendo fans are hoping for would require a massive overhaul unless Nintendo just wants to use Capcom's teams and IPs on mobile while harvesting their own and a select few of Capcom's on their own hardware.

Its crazy how Capcom is in this position when you consider all the IP they have: Devil May Cry, Mega Man, Viewtiful Joe, Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, Power Stone, Dragon's Dogma, Resident Evil, and many more.

But the company is barely profitable after all the things they've tried over the last few years. Whoever engulfs the company(and this is the case from what I see, not just buying single IPs) has a lot of work ahead of them

They're struggling to get games on shelves right now so I'm not expecting a bunch of VC games this gen from Nintendo.

I have no interest in using Miis but i have no problem with them being in the game.

The iconic pic is obviously the best

I did not expect PQ to sell that well out the gate. Good for Atlus. They're not P4G numbers but solid nonetheless.

I just started the series this year and just beat the first two games a month or so ago. I'm waiting for the trilogy to get localized before I play the 3rd.

My coins are just going to waste these days...

Its so sad how this franchise has fallen. I wish a good dev team could get a hold of this IP and give it a good installment. Most ppl will skip this just because a lot of the games have been trash recently.

They're releasing these games too fast for me I still need to get through the mainline Ace Attorney titles and waiting for Capcom so I can finish that trilogy

I'm going physical regardless.

2015 is disappointing but I'm still hype for this.

Say what you will about Capcom(I know I have) but their VC output has been outstanding for both the Wii and 3DS

I honestly dont even know how to respond to this. I've actually agreed with how they've dealt with Wii U support thus far since all of their games have bombed on the console. But man...how are you just holding onto games and waving them in gamers faces? EXCLUSIVE games.

I agree. I prefer quality over quantity and the eShop is lacking in both departments right now...at least for my personal gaming tastes. Fortunately, the ball will start rolling soon. Shovel Knight will be on the eShop by the end of the month and there's quite a few others notable games that will be there by the end of this year.

I really enjoyed Child of the Light. Ubi's games look great on that engine.

Rayman Legends is my favorite Wii U game thus far despite all of the controversy surrounding the game. I really enjoyed it.Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is #2 on my list.

Its nice that its actually wireless.
