Re: Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure Could Have Been a Nintendo Exclusive

MAN1AC

You win some and you lose some, so I'm not going to chastise Nintendo for this. Its so easy to criticize business moves in hindsight and we don't even know all the specifics of the deal. Ninty is probably regretting this a lot though. Skylanders sells the best on their platform but I believe the franchise has grossed something like 2 Billion dollars or so. That's has to hurt a little.

Re: Report Suggests That June Could Be Crucial For Iwata's Future At The Head Of Nintendo

I said last Spring that Iwata wouldn't be Nintendo's CEO by the time this gen ended due to him really not putting them in a good position for the future and I 'm sticking to my prediction. Or for the current time for that matter. He's really stunted the growth of the company.

I dont think he'll be canned this year, but I'm guessing whatever QOL is will be released and he'll be outed soon after.

You gotta love that region locking!
@kensredemption
Its the same company that didn't even want to localize Bravely Default. There's a ridiculously small chance this makes its way over to the West and if it does Nintendo will be the one's footing the bill for it.

Re: Latest Assassin's Creed Announcement Continues Doubts Over Wii U Inclusion

@JaxonH
Yes they are.

They made console that isnt selling well and they have not provide an environment for these games to thrive. 3rd party exclusives aren't even selling well on the system. I understand there's been some situations where DLC wasn't brought over but that is small in the grand scheme of things when you consider most gamers dont want to play vastly inferior multiplats, have aninferior online experience, and that it takes more resources to port a game over to the console and offer off screen play, etc.

The Wii U was built as a 1st party box and that's what it is now. That's not necessarily a bad thing though since it seems that 1st and 2nd party games is why most Wii U owners initially invested in the hardware.
