@Emblem Err, no. I don't think that's stopped them releasing "big" things on the eshop before, and no one is going to choose an eshop title over DKCTF. If the week after DK has absolutely nothing, like these last few, then you will be proved wrong.

@Silvershock Why? Because they're Nintendo, that's why. We're talking about the company who doesn't include DVD support, ethernet ports or optical cable ports on their systems, presumably as "cost-cutting measures." It's ironic really, all those things are no-go, but dual screens, 2 piece controllers and infrared bars, 3D screens and a controller with a screen, gyros, infrared, a camera etc. are all fair game!

@SavantSupreme Because it doesn't need one. It's barely bigger than the Wii as it is. And with the Wii Mini recently released in US, (stupidest decision EVER Nintendo) another Wii/U/revision will just become way too cluttered. Oh and Nintendo + hard drives = never gonna happen. I suggest you forget about that pipe dream as quickly as you thought about it. And let me guess, by "less bulky controller," you're one of those people who wants Nintendo to ditch the gamepad aren't you?

@ColdingLight Now that is so false I don't even know where to start. Chibi-robo, Mario Party 2 months earlier, physical Code of Princess, most Atlus games, the most notorious being a buggy DeSu OC 2 years later, Picross E3 months before us, probably more I'm missing.... you cannot claim that.

@ColdingLight It's already been released in America, there's pretty much no chance it will get a retail release now.

I still can't see why GAME couldn't have just stayed dead instead of being rescued from the scrap heap. Overpriced store, and in my experience I pretty much never get sealed games when I was clueless enough to buy from them. And of course they give Nintendo as little shelf space as they can get away with.

This seems far too overpriced for what little it adds. Online and an "L-shaped pills" mode aren't significant enough additions to me. I really wish they would give this series an injection (haha) of creativity, because right now every game except for 64 has been the exact same game with maybe one gimmick mode.

@yoshisaredragon You keep missing my point. They have OTHER exclusives they released this year which they could be advertising, but they're not, instead they're prioritising NSMBU and ignoring the other exclusives aside from the ones that have just been launched within one month of each other.

@shinpichu Yes it does make a difference. Western devs don't radically alter their games for Japanese audiences, so why should they for the west? Especially if it never intended to leave Japan in the first place?

@shinpichu You do understand teenage fanservice girls is pretty standard fair in Japan right? They don't get quite so up in arms over this kind of thing as other countries seem to. If people who aren't from Japan find it uncomfortable, maybe that's because it wasn't primarily intended for audiences outside of Japan in the first place, hence why the games have been Japan-only until now.

What is it with the flood of shovelware devs invading the system this year?! I really wish Nintendo would start to enforce some quality control so lazy devs can't just waltz in with their half-baked crap. And also, if the graphics are "bland and lifeless," shouldn't that qualify them as not passable??? I mean come on, it looks like a DS game!
