Personally I think the rehash-y-ness of these games should constitute a lower score. I fail to see why it hasn't. I mean 4 games in, yet none even come close to touching Picross DS.

@WiiULoveGBA That was a Year of Luigi special that also happened to get its own release. Exception to the rule. Don't expect to see something similar any time soon.

@Bizzyb Really? Because as far as I remember, every Nintendo game that got DLC had it announced AHEAD of launch, and was then detailed close to the launch, like this article. So unless an article shows up in the next few weeks before launch detailing DLC, assume it isn't getting any.

@Bizzyb MK8 isn't getting DLC. If it were it would've been all over the internet by now, and I think the fact that Mario Golf, a much less noteworthy game than Kart, is getting tons of DLC news and MK8 has none speaks volumes.

Got to admit, I had more fun with the demo than I expected! Definitely picking this up!

Really want a 2DS but I wish there is more color choice than blue & red. & freaking pink -_- I hate how they're always so slow to dish out the new colors.

@Doma How about you just get over it. They've hardly announced a season pass, have they? And they have announced the PROMISE of DLC, as in additional content after release. There is not a single course available as DLC the day the game comes out as far as we know.

Was that the case in any other Nintendo game that has DLC? No, it wasn't, so stop acting like it's going to be different this time around, because it won't.

@Dreamz Yeah because Sims-style expansion releases are totally viable on 3DS. Sorry, but no. You either get digital DLC, or you get nothing and you're left with a half-baked game with no content like Mario Kart 7.

Looking at those graphics, I can't see why they even bothered with 3D. That, and it looks like something I played on my Mac over a decade ago.

Question to those who have it - ignoring the ruined board mode, is the game still worth it at least for the mini games? Because even if the board aspect sucks as of late, (which it has done since 8) I can always at least get a kick out of the game's mini games. (except maybe 8) So are the mini games at least as good as 9's?

He should've got more in terms of his own, unique games. A game we already knew about before his special year started, DLC, a new M&L adventure, an overpriced puzzler almost identical to the Wii one, and personally I really don't think SM3DW should count as Luigi in a Mario platformer is expected these days.

I would still like to know why giant yellow USK stickers need to be printed on any collector's editions boxes but not standard cases, and in most cases that logo is also placed on the case that comes with the collector's edition, taking up more space than it should and ruining the box. I never understood the reason for this.
