Re: Dylan Cuthbert of Q-Games - Nintendo and Wii U Need a "New Super IP"

LunaticPandora

I never claimed they didn't need games, i just said Nintendo EAD hasn't made new IPs in recent years outside of N. Land and Steel Diver. Unfortunately i couldn't get into most wanted, I bought it because all the previews were making it sound very much like a Burnout Paradise successor, it wasn't quite close enough for me, and i've never really been an NFS fan.

Re: Talking Point: The Wii U Virtual Console Has Started, But Not With a Bang

LunaticPandora

@kereke12 And you're surprised? Wii U VC only got EIGHT games at launch, Wii managed to launch with more than that, spanning across 3-4 systems no less. Wii U can barely manage 1. Its absolutely pathetic, we should've gotten at least 20 titles if not more, considering the amount of titles already on Wii VC. So this not only means nothing to buy, but also nothing to upgrade for people who already have games on there. I'm almost embarrassed to own a Wii U right now, I can't believe what a sloppy performance nintendo has shown us thus far.

Re: Game & Wario Gets Crazy in Europe on 28th June

LunaticPandora

@SilentHunter382 It doesn't need another 6 months as it came out in japan barely a month ago, so there's no excuse really other than another misguided attempt to let 3rd parties "shine," which they failed to do at 3DS' launch, and are failing even more spectacularly here. So there really is no excuse for it not to be out right now.

Re: Review: Dillon's Rolling Western: The Last Ranger (3DS eShop)

LunaticPandora

@ThomasBW84 I know its A&O, but I'm not comparing the games to each other, I'm arguing the fact that both games changed nothing between sequels(at least that's what I'm getting from this review, as I'm in EU and can't buy it yet) yet this gets a deserved average score, but E2 still scores highly, when I even argued it should have been scored lower when it was reviewed because it was the same as the first, just with new puzzles, which isn't enough to warrant 8/10 IMO. But i guess I understand clearer if D2 has problems the original had but didn't address.

Re: Wii Mini Generating Little Interest in The UK

LunaticPandora

@Omega Ignorant or what. Lets see - SD only, no 480p, no SD card support, people DO care about online you know, which also means no VC/Wiiware, no gamecube support, waste of resources when they should be focusing on the Wii U - and by extension, no customer interest means people don't give a crap about the Wii anymore, which further solidifies my point that they should be focusing on Wii U, not attempting a quick cash grab which hasn't well... grabbed cash. Face it, this console is a piece of junk which has no reason to exist.

Re: Review: Splash or Crash (3DS eShop)

@Vallu I assume you mean above the Mutagen? There is nothing "below" it - its on the bottom row. I would also like to know. I would think you have to beat a level using every object, but damn, i can't beat any levels using the Mutagen - or the doll for that matter

Re: Review: Picross e2 (3DS eShop)

LunaticPandora

sorry, but i disagree. it should've gotten a 5 at the most, due to laziness. its exactly the same as E, only with different pictures. the menu alone is proof of that. the only new thing is micross, and with only 5 puzzles, not good enough. lack of self-created puzzles and online is pathetic, so is the measly amount of puzzles that go no bigger than 15x15. jupiter needs to step it up or make something other than picross for once.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Lower Expectations Are No Surprise

LunaticPandora

@Ryno_Choryzo agreed, but lets be real here - nintendoland isn't exactly a "big name" title if you ask me. to the average consumer, it probably looks like your run-of-the-mill minigame compilation with nintendo franchises. oh and releasing 2 NSMB's in one year is quite possibly the stupidest thing they could've done, especially considering NSMB2 suffered as a result.
