@InnerSound i never said it isn't happening at all, i just said that a lot of ppl use stuff for pushing sales/agenda/beliefs and so on

as a child of immigrants i did feel the racism when ppl saw my name and assumed im like "everyone else"
and being upset is human nature and go for it, i wont forbid it

it's only that cases of low sales do love to get pushed with those public messages and it's happening more and more often

once again: if all of it is true and they get non stop attacked i haven't said anything

i dont know if its true or not, it all sounds to me like that woman dev, who cried out loud how poor she is that noone wants to buy her game
might be a tactic to push sales for mediocre games
i'm an indie lover, play tons of indie games and a lot of them are hidden gems, but tons of others are just stolen ideas or even ripped off of other popular games, so no wonder some dont ever sell well
why would you buy a cheap copy, that isn't cheap, over the "real" stuff

if all of it is true its bad behaviour of ppl, but at the same time:
you are exposed to the public, you have to grow a thick skin, no matter your gender/race/whatever, ppl like to hate on stuff

@timtucker hey already awknowledged the memory leak and posted a roadmap of bugfixes and patches

it's kinda funny that ppl are still pikachu face that a game underperforms on switch, a console that was behind on release, not to mention it's 7 years old
i'm playing it on PC, it has its problems and performance issues here and there, but it's an indie game, so i'll forgive those instant, the game is still fun and very well made
such a low score is surprising, but i haven't seen or played it on switch, can imagine that ***** performance kills the mood

gotta love the nintendo/GF fanbois screaming that its illegal and for the greater good to destroy everything

currently playing a pokemon hack for the first time, and im havin fun with pokemon that i havent had in years

i bought this via kickstarter, a long while ago
still on my playthrough, but man
i rly wanna like the game, but the game works against it
dont get the 8/10 tbh
a lot of stuff is straight copies from either hollow knight or metroid
the music is kinda non existent (the lava theme is good tho)
you run around a ***** lot, looking for where to go next, and with that you have to redo a ton of tedious stuff, bc fast travel is VERY limited
at least the controls are nice, and after a few "mandatory" upgrades the platforming is fun or at least feels good
the bosses are also either reskinned hollow knight, or just awfully made (havent done all of em, only one original boss was fun so far)

bought every of their games but this, bc i dont give a damn about that genre gimme something fun like your previous ones, make a dig 3, just no builder, no farming etc
***** simulations, theres tons and tons of those, no wonder ppl get sick of those

i hate that there is no fall damage, once again nintendo making stuff even easier for no reason whatsoever

MK1 and SMRPG both were placed 6th last week?

im so excited for this game, but i'll wait for a sale, too many games on my pile

108h on this game, i ***** loved it, there are some annoying things here and there, so a 9/10 is perfectly fine to me

the paper mario games died after super paper mario, one trash game after another
they lost all their charm and identity, just random stuff thrown at people with the name paper mario on it
i dont know what was worse, color splash or sticker star, origami king wasnt better either
color splash i put down after 30 minutes of playing and my heart was bleeding back then
sticker star i played till the end with "it will get better, it will get better, this cant be it" in mind, and oh boy was i let down
they should've let the game series rott in hell like they do with most of their franchises

too bad that the super star saga games never got continued, but i guess nintendo doesnt want a mario rpg game anymore

i gave it an 8, but i play it on PC, dunno how bad the switch port is, i guess i would go lower for switch, but on pc a solid 8 to me, havin lots of fun with it and time flies by while playing it

noone cares, game got released as a demo and died pretty much instantly

@WoomyNNYes sadly its not US only, i had the same ***** in Austria.
i agreed to work for them, they promised that after around 9 months people shift over to be a direct employee, but even after 1 1/2 years nothing happened and asking about it was unwatned.

in my eyes only the s***tiest companies do such things and my love for nintedo pretty much died after all the crap they've been doing the last few years

@steventonysmith first and foremost: they took away his voice (same for DK), they used to say some stuff, doesnt happen anymore
second: diddy used to be a mix of derp and cool guy in all previous game (dkc 1&2, dkr, dk64), but now he is pretty much only a spidermonkey with clothes on
@Shade_Koopa tbh i think he is on par with birdo in terms of personality... but nintendo cut down a lot of characters personailities and quirks, so yeah

gotta love peoples fixation on gender, seems these days the most important thing of all...

can fully understand the hate, why not say that its a visual novel with some fighting, instead all the marketing went to the fighting, but its pretty much hours of story before you get to fight, which is very short and you get taken by the hand a lot

first game was awesome!
the dlc have gotten worse to the point that the last dlc sucked so much, that i didnt finish it
thus im not so excited for a second game, im expecting it to be way worse

@Bunkerneath the game is rly good and fun, so far pretty unique to me
i just dont get why a kickstarter for console ports...

sorry, but its by far the worst 3d mario out there, that must be the hardest of illusions to call it the best
the only 3d mario i couldnt beat 100%, and after playing 3d all stars and having to use guides i know why
worst and most unstable physics/movement, dumbest hidden collectibles and so many pure frustration moments

too little, too late
should have used the initial hype with this, the player base would have been bigger
ppl already moved on to the next games, the established small playerbase will be hella happy, but thats it

idk if its just me, but i dont see many ppl who care about this game, like at all
