All the new games on PS4 and xbox are $60, and suddenly Nintendo is evil for doing it. This is the standard for the industry now get over it.

@Kmno the game is doing fine without your support, and it will be breaking records. Just play the games that you like, and leave Pokemon fans alone.

Pokemon is absolutely killing, and it totally deserves it. My fav game of the year.

@Galenmereth consumers can vote with their wallets. Suing a company for releasing a product that you won't even buy is called an entitlement at its finest. Thank goodness lots of people disagree with internet sentiment judging by the sales records. Gamefreak just released their best gen, and y'all are complaining to this day about a game that y'all claim that you won't buy.

People are acting like they've never played a third version. From the looks of it, this game has a lot of new stuff that they've never offered in third versions before.

Its sold 1,893,387 million more than X/Y. XY did not have a dual pack so its likely a lot of people bought two copies too.

Next year we will see Sun and Moon take the throne from X/Y place as the best selling game on 3DS. Oh yeah have I mentioned that X/Y outsold Black&white and ORAS became the best selling remake, outselling HGSS and FRLG

This is most hyped up that I have ever been for a game in really long time. It seems that they are really trying to experiment and shake things up with this entry. Can't wait to play it in november.

@KittyKatta Nintendo owns the pokemon trademarks and characters. They own 33% of the Pokemon company, while also having shares in creatures, another company that owns the Pokemon franchise. They are invested in Niantic and also developed Pokemon go plus accessory. They are pretty much involved in this from the start and it has been stated before that this was one of iwata's ideas.

It will be very hard for Nintendo create another culture phenomenon like this. Pokemon has a huge following and its one of the reasons why it got popular so quickly because word of mouth. The concept of this is really clever and works so well with the essence of the Pokemon franchise.

Most of the things that I have been asking for are coming back. I'm absolutely loving the 7th gen so far.

Its very good and has good potentional to be a long term money maker, but first they need to fix the servers issue and add more content like trading.
