It feels like only a matter of hours since we reported on Insert Coin's lovely Pokémon pop-up store in London, UK; in fact, it has only been a few hours. It's proved to be so super-effective that our resident Pokémon fan Arjun has rushed to the big smoke to catch 'em all... and update his Autumn/Fall wardrobe no doubt.
Here's a charming gallery of photos which Arjun took on his visit (also likely to pop up on his Instagram page), for your consideration:
The store can be found at Shop 8 (Dray Walk), The Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, London, E1 6QL and will be open from August 25th - 30th. Here are the planned opening times:
Thursday, 25th August - 10am-8pm
Friday, 26th August - 10am-8pm
Saturday, 27th August - 10am-8pm
Sunday, 28th August - 10am-5pm
Monday, 29th August - 10am-4pm
Tuesday, 30th August - 10am-8pm
Let us know if you manage to make it over there, and if you have a favourite t-shirt design from this collection.

i wish i could go there
Twas a lunch break well spent! Speaking of "spent", my poor wallet could do with a Hyper Potion or two...
I'm not digging those designs. They're so un-Pokémonish. I want more whimsy.
Though I am partial to anything that will allow me to adorn myself in Magikarp. I would be all over the online Pokémon Centre stores if the damned misers would only ship beyond NA.
They should have hired this guy to help design that boring white store, all 151 1st gen Pokemon spray-painted on the side of his building.
Time lapse vid of the painting in action.

@rjejr It's a pop-up store, so all that effort for less than a week's worth of trade wouldn't warrant the cost involved of painting + removing it all. Cool vid though!
The Pokemon Go plus box looks nice
@SM4SHshorts 8 days? Maybe next time I should read the article first.
I knew it was a pop-up store, but around here those usually run thru the holidays, not for a week. I assumed this would be up thru Christmas. Heck even the Christmas Tree Shop is open year round. Nothing to do w/ Christmas though when I was in there a few weeks ago, mostly Thanksgiving.
I am so close yet not a Pokemon fan.
Who ever does go will be spoilt for choice as they have loads of restaurants there
Oooh... Pikachu on the glass...
Kawaii desu... :3
Wonder if the clothes design will be a new update for Style Savvy Fashion Forward. XD
Just kidding...
A temporary store? What the hell man. This would sell plenty as a permanent fixture. Nintendo need to start getting wise to merchandising. Those VANS were pretty popular too. Jeez.
I've so far been unfamiliar with the concept of pop-up stores, as it hasn't really made it to smalltown Denmark, but this looks like quite the classy exhibit.
I suppose the idea is to pack all the goods back down and find a new location that is in between occupants, in a new part of town, where you can appeal to a fresh bunch of faces.
Classy shirts these, I must say.
That guy in the shop, Jackson Galaxy (from My Cat From Hell)?!
@SanderEvers I understand the concept of a pop up shop, but what irks me about this is that as a concept, a chain of Pokemon Stores would do well. To be honest, I think Nintendo stores in the UK would be a good way of getting the company back into the public consciousness. Their brand sells, after all. Maybe they are wakening up to that? I don't know. Considering the success of Pokemon Go, a permanent store makes sense to me.
This is so cool
I can't quite fathom why there isn't a Pokemon Centre outside Japan.
Equally odd is that there isn't a Nintendo World store inside Japan.
Odd business strategies.
Saying that, the Pokemon Centres don't actually have that great a range of t-shirts.
Such things never happen here :/
I never imagined a simple game turn into a sensation around the world!
