Well this just sucks. The bare bones Gameboy version of Tetris with no online or any multiplayer of any kind. No Wii VC either. Even on Christmas week. Mighty switch force might be the only thing to save the day. Merry Christmas indeed.
There's a christmas themed world in Kingdom hearts 2 that was pretty fun. Also the original Banjo Kazooie has a cool snowy world with giant snowmen and christmas trees.
Who cares? The storylines are really simple to follow. It's about a Hero who is sent on a great quest to defeat evil and save a few damsels along the way.
Try not to think about it too much or this might happen to you. [youtube:VW27kyh7PVM]
A vampire game releasing around Christmas? Nice timing. No thanks, if I wanna throw up I'll just watch Twilight. Mighty switch force is most likely the only game anyone will be buying this week.
When This and the original Metroid Prime released on the same day back in 2002 the series was brought back from the dead in a big way! I absolutely loved this game and in some ways I even thought it was better than the almighty super Metroid.
Oh goody more Wii VC games that will never be released. I remember when I used to get excited about the possibility of more VC games. Ah those were the days.
Funny how skyward sword got a perfect 10 yet the complaints about controls would suggest otherwise. Minish cap has traditional button controls yet it only got a 9/10. What brought Minish cap's score down by that one point? The lack of dungeons? The fact that it's 2-D when at this point they were mostly all 3D?
This was the last 2-D overhead view styled Zelda and a great one! I really liked how well they used the shrinking idea in this. The puzzles are very clever and well thought out. The music is catchy and there's alot of classic remixes in there too. It might be short if you rush through but the completionist could easily spend far longer getting everything.
I'm glad they are doing this but the glitch is really easy to avoid if you do the song of the hero part in the correct order. Remember the order you visit the three areas at the start of the game? Go back to them for the last song in that same order. Faron, Eldin and last Lanayru. Levias even tells you to visit them and the names appear in that order when he tells you where to go.
Not to sound fanboyish but clearly Nintendo is where it's at. If you don't think they are the best gaming company around I feel sorry for you. They are why I love videogames in the first place. Santa clause, you got owned this year.
@ MagicPegasus Thanks for clearing up that Trill word for me. It was driving me nuts. I guess it's like saying Tru Dat or something. I feel so much hipper now.
@ Mr_Moore3506 I have to ask, What is this "TRILL" you keep saying? Is that some modern slang I'm not hip to? I'm not trying to get all up in your grill or whatever. Just curious.
Rather than the game giving you the choice of which part to do first it should have been a pre set path. It just seemed like the order should be the same as the order you first visit the areas so that's what I did. Glad it worked out for me but it is unfortunite for the unlucky few.
There's a really simple solution to avoiding this glitch. When it's time to do the part with the three dragons do them in this order... Water, Fire and then Thunder. It's the same order in which you visit these areas at the begining of the game. So that's Faron, Eldin and last Lanayru. Never start with the thunder dragon first. That's what causes the glitch. Always follow this pattern and you'll never get the glitch. Problem solved!
Well they did Metroid and Donkey Kong proud. I wouldn't have a problem with their take on a Zelda game. Just not first person. I know it worked for Metroid but with Zelda I'm just not seeing it.
Well Skyward sword was delayed for improvements and it still ended up having a game ending glitch. Let's hope quality control did a better job this time.
I'll admit my first playthrough started out kinda rough. I was still getting used to how the combat worked and got killed alot. Now I'm able to slice and dice bad guys with no problem. It just takes time and anyone should be able to learn the controls after playing enough.
Oh no I guess all the complainers about Skyward sword's controls will have to give up on Zelda. I had no trouble with it but alot of people seem to have difficulties.
The first vid looks like a Rocky training montage. I can just hear eye of the tiger playing along with it. Weird thing to put in a Zelda game. Glad they left that out.
Mickey mouse was just fine after Walt Disney died. As long as Miyamoto's successors uphold the values and quality standard of Nintendo I'm sure Mario, Zelda and Donkey Kong will be just fine without him.
Do these idiots adding the downloads even know what month it is? Where's the holiday spirit? No 3DS or Wii VC? This better be cause we're getting the Ambassador games soon or I don't know what's going on.
I Did the water Dragon part first then Thunder dragon and last the fire Dragon and had no problems. I have also never encountered this Other M glitch and I played through it three times. It is rather unfortunite that glitches like these still get into games after all the delays before they release. What were they doing with all that extra development time?
I don't see what's so bad with having Link just stick with the yells and grunts he does. They are plenty expressive enough without the need for talking. Metroid other M had voice acting and everybody complained. Didn't we learn anything from that? Maybe if Link only said one or two words it would be okay but we don't need him yacking on like Samus did. If the voice work isn't going to be perfect it's better left out. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
I think I speak for everyone when I say where the bloody hell is La-Mulana? Also boo on no Wii VC yet again. I guess they wouldn't want to throw us a frikin bone even around the holidays. Now excuse me while I cry in a corner.
Okay so if we are definitely getting them this year shouldn't they be telling us what games they'll be? We still only know of 5 so far and the deadline is near.

I'm loving this game so far! Nintendo did a really good job making sure this wasn't the same old grind. It has a really fresh exciting feel. The controls did take some getting used to but now I'm really enjoying it.
Well I could go on and on about it but I gotta get back to the game.
No Wii VC again is rather dissapointing on thanksgiving day of all days. On the plus side though at least we got Return of Samus. I'll be downloading that ASAP! Now when are we getting those GBA Ambassador games you owe us Nintendo?
Man did that go by fast! I remember hooking it up and showing my Dad how to play Wii sports. He hardly touched a videogame in his life but there he was at 56 hooked on the bowling game. He started hogging it everyday and I almost had to hide it from him. The Wii gave me alot of great gaming memories. Can't wait to see what Wii U brings to the table.
If you don't already have this on Wii VC I highly suggest you get it. It's one of the best Nes platformers ever! Also the 3D effect can be adjusted to be more noticeable. What is seen in the trailer is not the maximum setting.

Re: Skyward Sword Save File Fix Wii Channel Out Now
I played through the game twice and never had a glitch problem.
Why would anyone wanna delete their Wii shop channel account?
That's a real good way to lose every VC or Wiiware game you ever downloaded.

Finally another Gameboy color game! I never got to try this one.
Does the sequel have limited continues like the Nes original?

By the end of the holiday season you'll eat those words.
