I'd say this rumor is pretty likely. The latest Nintendo power Magazine has a little teaser for the next issue. On the last page it says get ready for next months issue with a surprise announcement for Sonic fans. I bet it's Generations for 3DS.

The 3DS was cool for about a week then I was already bored with it. The launch lineup frankly sucked.
The good stuff needs to hurry up and save this poor thing.

There's just something I like better about pushing buttons.
I will always prefer the hands on experience to anything else.

Wiiware might as well be dead.
There's only three games left I'm even remotely interested in.
La-Mulana, Nightsky and Retro city Rampage.
Since the first two are by Nicalis I don't expect them anytime soon if ever.
You know how long it took them to get Cave story released.

This is the kinda game you buy even if you own it in another form.
It's that good.

I'm willing to bet this "Cafe" word going around is not the codename for the actual system. It's probably just something about their new approach to online gaming.

I guess a single Snes rom on a disc didn't stop people from gobbling it up.
I ended up with two copies by accident.
My first one was on back order and fearing that I'd never get it I went and bought it elsewhere.
Then soon after that my original order arrived.
Oh well one to play and one to keep in the box until I'm old and wrinkly.

Wow Free Excitebike, Flipnote studio and the Mega Man Legends 3 prototype version! They should call it the free shop channel.
We sure are getting alot of freebees with the launch of the 3DS shop.

I've never even heard of this game until now. Anyone here actually played it? Does it suck as much as I suspect it might?

Yeah just last month Reggie was saying the Wii hasn't reached it's limit yet.
Looks like it has. I guess they aren't able to offer anymore surprises on Wii. He's such a tease.

This will be the longest wait til E3 ever.

It'll be fun buying replacement controllers for this thing whenever one breaks down. I can see them having an 80 dollar or more price tag.

Yes of course they are working on a new system. Probably ever since the Wii launched. These websites really shouldn't even bring it up if they don't have undeniable proof it exists.

They should just call it the Nintendo Domination. Once this baby hits stores Sony is in big trouble. I'm actually starting to believe these rumours now. Maybe this will be the era of Nintendo finally being on top once again. Just like the good old nes days.

The 3DS launch was pretty lame. Street fighter IV was the only game I even wanted. Once they get the big guns out it'll be fine.

IGN wrote an article on 3DS sales declining too. They make it sound like 3DS will crash and burn. They must have forgot it's just barely getting started. The good stuff will be here soon then PSP will be in trouble.

I can't wait until we get some official news on this. I have no doubt that Nintendo is working on the next console. That's pretty obvious. So much of these rumours are quite rediculous though. A screen on the controller my good eye. Yeah that's gonna work well. Buying new batteries all the time and screen protectors. One controller could cost you nearly 80 dollars or more. I smell something. Do you?

What sucks about the gameboy versions is that only MM5 Is completely original. The others are just rehashes of 1-5 on Nes with a small amount of new stuff thrown in.

One Mega man X down two more to go. Bring on X3 so I can have the real version. Not that crap PS1 port on the anniversary collection.

I'm not going to believe one bit of this poppycock until Nintendo themselves confirms it. The supposed abilities of this magical machine sound way too made up. A screen on the controller? Yeah that sounds pretty stupid. Reggie himself said sales of the Wii would have to drop dramatically before they'd make a new system.

Link still looks kinda blocky in some of those screen shots. For example look at the one where he's pulling the master sword out. His fingers look really square and they have flat ends. People think the 3DS has Gamecube level graphics? Not quite obviously. It's a step up from N64 but only slightly.

The original still looks good. It'll be nice to have a portable version but playing on a TV is best. Now let's see some Adult Link and Princess Ruto screen shots.

Without Inafune he might as well be dead.

I really don't see the appeal in Monster hunter anyway. If they want to impress me announce a new Mega man game. Oh wait Inafune left I guess that's it for the blue bomber. Might as well start digging his grave.

What about Adventure Island 3 or possibly the 4th Japan only game released as an Import? Shouldn't leave those out.

I'm 31 and I wouldn't be ashamed if someone saw me playing 3DS in public. It's guys like this that make Sony look like jerks. Ever notice how Nintendo doesn't go around ditching other game companies? They just want to make great games. Not take shots at the competition for kicks. He's just another jealous idiot.

If more game developers would think like Nintendo the world would be a better place. If there's one company that really knows videogames it's them. Many of us wouldn't have found such joy in this hobby if not for them.

It's strange that I never heard of any of these games. Probably because I was too busy playing Streets of Rage. Now that's a beat em up series you can really enjoy.

I wouldn't be surprised if their big announcement was going out of business. With Inafune Gone and Mega man seemingly dying what's left for this company?

Yeah I can't beleive people were returning their 3DS's because of headaches due to the scary 3D mode. Duh you can turn it off dummies.

As soon as the 3DS e shop channel is ready to download I'll be getting Risky's revenge. Here's hoping for a release of the original Gameboy color game as well. I look forward to a possible future 3DS release of Shantae.

Yay for Super Bonk! Seems like we're always playing catch up with Europe. I expected Final Fantasy VI this week but this will do I guess.

If it's coming to Europe's VC then there's no reason it can't be released in America's also. I have a feeling it's going to be translated. Why would they not when it's practically unplayable to people who can't read Japanese? It's not the same as Sin and Punishment which needed no translation but they still did it.

I doubt this has anything to do with April fools. If they wanted to do a VC related April fools joke they'd be saying Earthbound was being released. I'm pretty sure this is real news.

I'm surprised you guys at Nintendolife didn't try to pull the Virtual boy confirmed for VC bit again. Even on 3DS I doubt that'll happen. I'm not falling for anything today.

That size restriction on Wiiware games is killing the service. Even big companies like Konami had to give us trimmed down sequels because of the stupid limit. Remember the Rebirth games with their lousy 5 stages each? We got a new Contra, Castlevania and Gradius but they were too dang short. Come on give us more than that.

Please please be coming to the U.S. soon! I so want to finally complete my wonderboy VC collection. This looks to possibly be the best in the series. It'll be interesting to see if this gets translated but I doubt it. Sure would make it more playable.

Wasn't Nintendo themselves saying this is the 3DS launch title they were most excited about? Too bad it turned out lackluster.

I'll wait and see if this remake is on par with the original and the Wiiware version. Then maybe I'll get it.

Well this surely is the worst update ever but since there's quite a few games coming eventually I won't complain. There's also Chrono trigger, Lufia and the Adventure Island games to look forward to. They probably figure everyone's to busy playing 3DS to care about this weeks update.

It was only difficult If you didn't get Zero's Saber at the end. With that thing he's a joke. I used to think that boss was impossible too until I found out that little secret. It almost takes the fun out of it though.
