Re: Weirdness: A Wii U Gamer's Miiverse Journey Through Super Metroid

KAHN

i'm surprised he didnt post about that abandoned ship boss. that one drove me nuts the first time i fought him. eventually figured out his pattern and waited him out until he died. i'm not even sure if i beat him the way the developers intended he die. didnt cheat or anything, just shot at him until my health was low, then shot those fires and regained my health.

Re: Miiverse: Super Metroid - Too Taxing For Today's Gamers?

KAHN

i hate this new generation, not only because of nooby crap like this, but it's a portion of why. i have a million reasons, which are all off topic, so i won't say, but this is one of those reasons. nooby kids these days turn to the internet and cheat whenever they're stuck. in my day, kids had what was called a "brain." yes, i know, shocking.

Re: EA Developing Frostbite Engine For Mobile, But Not Wii U

KAHN

guys, the wiiU CPU is horrible. those rumors about it being worse than CURRENT gen consoles are true. that's what all the developers are saying, anyways. DICE, THQ, a LOT of these developers hate the WiiU because it's a chore to program on.

Re: LEGO Friends Coming to 3DS and DS

KAHN

@EvisceratorX
your confusing this with cookin' mama. maybe there's a sidequest in the game though. make your man the best damn sandwich ever. hang on a second, i need to start writing this down.

Re: ZombiU Developer Hints at a Sequel, Sort Of

KAHN

i doubt it. this could easily be something like a DLC though. i wish they did make a sequel though. they'd get a chance to refine all the predecessors' problems (update graphics, fix glitches, add new zombie types, etc). i feel like the original was rushed to the market.

Re: Mega Man FPS "Polarized Opinions" Within Capcom As Well

KAHN

@MickeytheGreat maverick hunters was going to be a remake of the original megaman. saying they just called it "megaman" is just stupid. besides, the megaman creator has already left Capcom, so they're stuck in a hole. they don't know what to do with the megaman series.

Re: Violent Video Games Blamed for Knife Attack in Scotland

KAHN

alright, so there isn't much on this knife attack on news sites, and what i do find has a hyperlink to this article! i don't think i can even believe this. don't take this the wrong way, but i don't this nintendolife is a credible source for videogame violence linked with microsoft and gears of war. i don't think i can tell people about this and be taken seriously when i'm getting my information from a videogame website, so i'll wait until this shows up on yahoo or cnn or something before sharing it with people.

Re: Review: Super Mario World (Wii U eShop / Super Nintendo)

KAHN

@manu0

1.) funny. i thought the control scheme was the exact same for both games. if you're talking about slippery controls, i highly disagree. the controls are fluent and soft. mario controls the exact same way he did in SMW as he does in NSMB, controls and all.

2.) you are referring to a leap of faith, no? well excuse SMW for not scrolling only left and right. SMW had levels that had the camera flying in more than two directions, whereas most levels in NSMB scroll only left and right, not up and down. you have to give the developers credit though. when you are in a position where you can't see the ground, you are still centered in the middle of the screen, so what you can see are platforms you can land on to keep you from falling. sorry you don't like challenge. why don't you go play easy NSMB, which as zero fun jumps like this?

3.) the crusher you are referring to does not just fall down. it first lets you know where it's going to fall by slowing descending (letting you know where it is before falling), and if you're smart, you'll dodge it. going out and saying "there's no hint of where they are" is just stupid and unintelligent. this is not up for debate.

4.) whether or not you like the music is your opinion, but you have to agree that the music/sound-effects it does have fits. tell me, does a door really require a high and up-beat sound-effect to match? whether or not you like the music is your opinion, and i respect that, but i don't respect people who label it as a flaw of the game when it's something as delicate and opinionated as the music. this is not up for debate either.

(this is just from me) also, you're telling me that this isn't as uplifting:

Re: Madden NFL Is Skipping Nintendo Systems For The First Time Since 1991

KAHN

as far as i'm concerned, i couldn't care less. sports games are not my thing, and i'll keep my reasons why to myself. as far as the WiiU goes, that doesn't bode well. whether or not i like them, a lot of people do like sports games, and are willing to buy every madden game even, though there are 5 of them on the same console.

Re: Mario Kart, Wii Sports And Animal Crossing Named In Violent Games Rundown

KAHN

that's the thing though. guys, you have to remember that a lot of people involved in the media are ignorant and thick-headed (not you guys, NLife Staff :3). the best way to treat this is to just ignore it. the sting might remain for a couple minutes, but eventually this slap-in-the-face will go away.

regarding their list, i do think that it's odd they chose the most innocent of games to put on their list, aside from the obvious games of course. they'll put animal crossing on their list, but not Pokemon (which is essentially a game about abusing animals and making them fight for your own entertainment)? odd.

Re: Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures Is Coming To Nintendo Platforms

KAHN

was NOT expecting it on Nintendo consoles. i watch his videos, but not for him though. i mainly watch them for the games he decides to play. personally, i don't think his jokes are that funny, and as i said before, i only watch his videos for the games he plays. might pick this up though.

Re: Wii U Virtual Console Launch Lineup Is Revealed

KAHN

this launch list is pathetic. i can understand why new consoles have bad launch titles, but these systems already came out decades ago. they know which games sold the best, they know which ones are the best. some of those games were released during the Famicom campaign, so that should be the perfect opportunity to put other games on the list, but they're still releasing them. i dont even know why. here's what they SHOULD have done;

1.) make a new list; a BETTER one, one with better games than ice climber and one with games that weren't released during the famicom campaign.

2.) this list should contain at least some games that are NOT available on the WiiShop VC Service(including but not limited to games that hav been taken off WiiShop VC service). this way people won't be able to download them on WiiShop VC service and there is a guarantee people haven't bought it yet.

3.) now people who do have the famicom campaign games have a wider variety of games to choose from. the people who didn't buy the campaign games can wait until they're put up later eventually, just like the ambassador program. or you can just make them suck it up since they had the opportunity to buy it for 30 cents. your choice, Nintendo.

I hate you because I love you, Nintendo.
