Looks like we may be set for another instalment

Call of Duty: Black Ops II was revealed last year on 1st May during the NBA playoffs and it appears the next iteration in the Call of Duty franchise may well be announced at around the same time this year.

Nothing has been revealed yet, although recent retailer listings and a few leaks on YouTube have suggested the next game in the series will be called Call of Duty: Ghosts.

According to IGN, displays have been sent to retailers indicating a reveal will be made next week. A photo obtained by IGN shows a display blueprint, which suggests promotional material is being distributed to GameStop stores on 29th April and are to be displayed on 1st May.

Could Activision be lining up a reveal on 1st May? Only time will tell. Hopefully the next game in the series will be available on Wii U - Call of Duty: Black Ops II was a launch title when the system launched last year.
