I want to be excited but I can't see the Call of Duty teams pulling it off.

I'eve played BO2 on the Wii U and it isnt as bad as I thought I like it

screw this game, keep releasing every-year, I haven't bought any CoD games for straight 3 years, The story is already finished, plus Ghost is dead in MW2, wtf are they bringing up Ghost again...,
Activision : "no, that was Ghost's double. He is not yet dead" or "Yes, Ghost is dead but this game takes place 3 years before" wuuuut ... freakin rip-off man ! dont buy it ! play TF2 or CS if you like FPS ...

Differences of those games
CoD : $60, expensive map packs
TF2 : Free, $1 for premium account, no map packs
CS : $4.99, no map packs.

to this date I still wonder why CoD reaches millions of dollars of sales... One day, this triple A game will kill a publisher if they continue to make this game ....

I'm going to say it right now. The reviews are going to go bonkers for the game and it will be praised for the exact same stuff it has been praised for the past 6 years..... yeah...
I will buy this game Day 1 if the throw a huge curve ball and have no multiplayer and focus primarily on the Campaign... for once
I want to like this series I really do, but it is really hard when the games seem near identical to the predecessor before it.

@BadKitty Hahahahahaha, no it isn't, it's effectively an arcade and and. O more advanced than Goldeneye on the N64. This game series is poor next to Battlefield, but as DICE don't have the manpower to bring a Wii U version on Battlefield 4 just yet, it maybe a new COD game gets to take up the money and hours of FPS needs in my house. Any new game announcement on Wii U is great news whether you like COD or not, millions of people obviously do and a percentage of those millions could end up getting a Wii U to play and expand the user base of the console that you have already invested in yourself. Ultimately meaning further third party support for future games YOU really want. No game isn't suitable for a particular console.

Ya, I already gave COD a chance by buying the game on Wii U launch day. The DLC is nowhere. I'm not falling for the scam Activision. I think they should just make this game free to play, then I won't feel ripped off content wise like I did with COD BO 2.

I actually love BLOPS2 and bought it for my WiiU... it's awesome, but I wonder when we will get a COD based on the Korean or Vietnam wars.

Snooze!! So bored of this series now, hate to be a hater but can't see this coming to Wii U as most third party companies don't give a dam about the console.
This will be an Xbox ps3 and PC game (and probably the ps4 and 720) just like most other releases of the past 5 months.

Such a weird attitude in the comments here. I've played some COD games, enjoyed some, hated others, and I'm done with the series for now so I won't be picking up a game if it arrives on any of the Nintendo systems. BUT why the hell would I complain about it coming? Another game? More options for people? Especially on a console that needs more games!

If you don't like a game, don't buy it. But screaming no and complaining that it's even going to exist on your console... jeez. Turn the tables and make it about some brilliant RPG that's being localised for release on the Wii U or 3DS. Imagine you like RPGs but you have people screaming like infants that it shouldn't come to your console because it sucks. The solution here is to buy the games you like, ignore the ones you don't like. Other people have different tastes, leave them to their games.

I agree with everyone here saying that it will be basically the same experience as all the other ones, that's pretty much the reason why I'm bored of the series. You never know though, they could release something different with the same brand, like a strategy game or something. But I doubt it. The old Infinity Ward made the last decent ones. The games handle well and the core gameplay is good (if you like FPS) but the single player campaigns are too short imo and the multiplayer is great for a while, but it's been the same for years so I'm very done with it at this point.

But bring it on! More games, more options!

Well the cod series hasn't really produced any bad games, they are all really solid experiences. Its just they never do anything special like new super Mario bros

@Datasun_7 Agreed. They do what they set out to do very well indeed, I'm just bored of them because I want something new.

Exciting games but too repetitive. I gave up on them after modern warfare 3. They will just keep bringing them out though. The yearly release formula has worked for FIFA and other games for ages. Why would they do any different with a FPS. Muppets keep on paying their money year after year to get the next rehashed game with slightly different content.

No DLC for BLOPS 2 even though it says it on the back of the box = No more purchasing CoD games. The games are far superior on the WiiU and yet, outside of the occasional patch, we get nothing, not even Nuketown. Activision officially burned the bridge to my wallet.

I don't think anyone 'hates' the game. I for one bought COD BO 2 and there is no DLC. I think it is a good game aside from not having the DLC. DLC being absent should be a good enough reason to not want the game. I'm not gonna buy the next game if it is treated how BO 2 was for Wii U.
Trust me. People that 'hate' the game or the way it is handled aren't gonna buy it, because they don't like it.
The DLC has already been out for months on Xbox 360 and PS3. I believed they would bring it out for Wii U, but that is obviously not the case. I'm not gonna chance not getting the DLC for Wii U in a new title. It basically comes along with the game.

Im am sooo excited... ye wanna know why because for once activision and there genero-shooter are gonna play second fiddle because thats also when the incredible looking GTA V is having its big coming out party

Hmmm I guess it is time for another Call of Duty game to come out.
I'm not going to be wasting my money on this series. All you need is to buy 1 maybe 2 CODs per console and you have well over the experience of all of them.

Maybe it can be called Call of Duty: Another Quick Cash-In? Seriously though, this franchise has grown very stale. They just need to end the franchise because no one with an actual life really cares for this franchise anymore.

Unless I see new ideas and less bull crap that every cod has in it (ie curving bullets, 10 hit markers with no kill yet u get killed with one bullet etc...) I will not be buying this re skinned junk. I have had it with the COD series and will buy no more games after blops 2. I really wish Conduit 3 or another Metroid game would come out with a multi-player totally different and innovative from Cod, BF, and Halo because these series are all the same to me. Oh and lets not forget all that DLC we got from Activision and the Wii U version of BF4 that comming really showing you care about us Nintendo fans.

Beginning of may isn't really a practical time for a war game reveal or release. All of europe is honouring the memory of a bloody world war...

Those are the reasons the Wii U doesn't have BF and won't be getting it. The sooner you accept it the sooner you can move on in your life.
