@Kyloctopus An Android tablet is cheap, but an iPad is way more expensive than 3DS.

I'm not going to buy third party games just to show third parties there's a demand. I don't have that kind of money. If there's a game I genially want I will buy it when I can like I did when Rhythm Thief came out.

@LavaTwilight GDC talks aren't generally live streamed. A while after the event many of the talks are available on GDCVault.com. Some are free but you have to pay for most of them.

@ThetaRobo I'm not entirely sure whether you're rrplying to my second or third comment. I'll assume the latter. I was mainly referring to how most of the replies to @Jaz007 include personal insults because of his views instead of relying on the merits of his arguments. There are some people replying to his actual arguments, but most of those still include insults.

@Fusion14 A lot of companies do so it would not be surprising.

@Kyloctapus: I am old enough to buy an M rated game at retail should I desire, but I have moral qualms with the content in such games. I have been a fan of the series and have played all of the games that are out so far in the West, but Capcom has lost me with this.

I will be sitting this one out. Oh well. Life goes on.

@banacheck Two screens is only pointless in single player on Pikmin Adventure. If you're doing multiplayer, which is clearly what it's meant for, two screens are vital.

@Hale-Bopp I doubt it would be open world, but LCU also has 15 levels.

@WaxxyOne Saying Star Wars instead of Star Wars Episode IV would likely be acceptable in that situation because that's what it was originally called. They added the episode number and subtitle after the fact.

So much hate for ROB. I actually use him a lot. I won't be heartbroken if he doesn't come back, but I hope he will.

@gameboy1975 Regarding Nintendo game prices, retailers are the ones that lower prices, not Nintendo themselves. Prices are reduced to increase sales which is pointless to do when a game is still selling well. Nintendo games stay at higher prices longer than other companies because they have a much longer shelf life.

It sounds like you're saying that's a bad thing.

@zenarium If it is like a real life slot car set, the cars fall off of the track if you don't manage your speed well and occasionally the car might just decide to stop.

The analyst's prediction just doesn't make sense for Nintendo.

Sega and Atari sure did well after leaving the hardware market. /sarcasm

@unrandomsam I agree that for many people that can be a deterrent, but there are a lot of games that are on Steam yet still sell on consoles.

@MakeMyBiscuit Nintendo can't do that because they don't own the Star Wars license nor, as far as I'm aware, did they have anything to do with the development of these games. Disney owns the rights.

@Midnight3DS I doubt Mega Man has enough mainstream appeal for that to happen.

It would probably be pretty tricky, but what's the point of celebrating video game music without Koji Kondo? In fact I can't help but notice that there aren't any Japanese composers on that list at all.

I do not understand the hate for Angry Birds. I'm not a huge fan, but for brief periods of time it can be fun. I only paid for the first one though, the others I've picked up when they went free on iOS. I'm not sure how buying it on a console could be considered to be a good value since Rovio seems to release around 15 new levels for their games every month for free. I doubt that carries over to consoles.

@Tasuki Nintendo didn't "go after" Apple. That would have been like going after YouTube because someone illegally uploaded a video to its service. It would be pointless. They would have notified Apple that a developer had an illegal product on their marketplace so they would know to take it down and gone after the developers.

I am also an American who imported Freshly Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupee Land. It's a really fun game.

I picture the Rabbids movie being like the Star Wars Holiday Special. The Rabbids will be like the Wookies and you will have to pretend to know what they are saying to each other.

@GamerJunkie Family friendly presentation doesn't mean that the game is only for kids.

I think that Nintendo ditching the Gamepad would mean the end of the Wii U. I don't think they want to fragment their audience. And you think consumers are confused about what the Wii U is now? Think how bad it would be if they took these suggestions.

They're probably going to put the Gamepad stuff on Vita and Smartglass.

I don't really care about whether CoD comes to Wii U. I won't play it.

@Deadstanley Sales tax/VAT is different in every state. For example, California VAT is 10% and Utah VAT is something like 6.3%.

@SkywardLink98 It actually is their fault to an extent if they fail to make a game that is of worth to their potential consumers.

It's not actually going to be only 99¢–There's tax to pay on it as well. It's not that expensive though.

People complaining about the subscription cost for this aren't neccisarily the same people that pay for XBL or PSN Plus, especially if they've never owned a non-Nintendo console.

@ThumperUK Haha! No. America Club Nintendo is terrible. I'm guessing that this was only as desirable as it was because it was marked as being limited edition.

From what I've seen of this game it looks like a ripoff of the game Beat Sneak Bandit for iOS. Get that game instead. It is actually quite challenging.

@onex I don't recall ever needing the R button in the AA games. I usually just used the touch screen controls.

The "pixelation" issue is actually called aliasing. It is not fixed by increasing resolution. The only way to fix it is antialiasing which drastically increases the amount of time it takes each frame to render.
