I played it on switch and had no major issues, on the contrary I was rather impressed by the quality of the port... Its like the exact opposite of what the reviewer says. Strange
@Zeroo I think I am allowed to share my thoughts and opinions without you criticising. Furthermore, I dont need your suggestions on what to play. You may like it but I dont, simple as that.
Really not my cup of tea… I ve been playing it for hours and apart from some puzzle moments I cant find any fun in it. To be honest I find it boring and it feels like playing BOTW again…
Count me out. Im done with this endless walking sim. BOTW universe really killed Zelda for me. The puzzles, the story, the music used to be the soul of these games, now its just walking, climbing and glueing things together in a somewhat soulless world…
I got 30euros credit. Thought Id be able to download half the store with the number of coins I had. Its nothing compared to the amount I ve spent on games.
@DanElectrode Thankfully it never crashed on me. I played the whole game on docked mode though, I dont know if that matters. Hope it doesnt happen again, losing your save file sure is frustrating... enjoy gaming and Merry Christmas:)
One of my favorites on switch eshop so far. Story is amazing and the game truly sucks you into its mystery. Frame rate issues are present but when a game is that good who cares?
With so many games on switch right now Im really not tempted. I was hoping for an oldschool kind of dungeon, some sort of big castle/temple thing, not another divine beast... And seeing a motorcycle in the Zelda universe just makes me sad. I may be the only one but to my opinion Botw took the franchise to a direction it should never have gone.
I give it a 9. Words cannot describe how awe inspiring this game is, I was sucked in immediately. A few hick ups here and there but nothing major... I dont know why they make it sound so bad. Unless you are a tech freak and go crazy over minor flaws this game is totally worth your time and money...
I absolutely loved it. Great story, beautiful art style. One of the best gaming experiences I ve had lately. Did not witness any technical issues. 9/10
Bought it after reading all the good reviews but I dont really like it. Kind of repetitive and the range of attacks is very limited. I used to agree with this sites reviews mostly but lately I ve been mislead by them quite a few times... this one is a 5 for me. Count Lucanor is the best game I ve downloaded recently.
Couldnt agree more. Good game but not up to Zelda standards. Dungeons, bosses, puzzles, music and story were kind of disappointing. Also no replay value for me here, first Zelda game Im not eager to revisit.
Did it today:D Its actually super easy to do and the games run smoothly- I downloaded some roms and the program from the link in this article and then followed the steps. I wasnt expecting it to be THAT easy. I now have over 100 games on my snes mini and Im over the moon:))) If any of you is on the fence just go ahead and do it, it doesnt get any easier than this...
@Pinkman I believe many people form opinions based on what reviewers say. Even the gamers that decide to give the game a go are so preoccupied with what critics have said they fail to shape their own opinion. Taste in game varies of course, not all people are zombies but to me its unthinkable to be a rareware fan and not like this game. Im positive the comment about loading times on cartridges will be removed if they release it on game card.
Camera issues aside the game is lovely and whoever has not played it yet really misses out. Would have gotten better reviews had it been released on a nintendo system I think. PS4 and XBOX gamers arent used to games like that. I have it on PS4 and looking forward to that switch release. Feels like playing a new banjo game-I love it!
I just hope they stick to the old formula or maybe keep the open world idea and bring back traditional dungeons and gear. Botw is good but far from perfect- story was weak(probably the worst in the series), bosses looked all the same, no dungeons as we knew them and the weapon system sucked hard... That said I dont agree with the rave reviews and Id like my Zelda to rely more on story and puzzles than walking around aimlessly...

Re: Review: Cronos: The New Dawn (Switch 2) - Strong Story Elevates Otherwise Safe Survival Horror
A game doesnt need to reinvent the wheel in order to be considered great. Survival horror fans will have a good time for sure, I know I did.
Re: Review: Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny (Switch) - A Solid Remaster Of One Of PS2's Best, But Stick To 4:3
Fixed camera angles is a plus imo, maybe its not your thing but you cant include it to negatives.
Re: Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny Remastered Coming To Switch In 2025
Finally! Was hoping 4 this!
Re: Eiji Aonuma Explains Why Zelda's Gameplay Takes Priority Over Story
Tbh I feel as if the latest Zelda games barely have any story and they need to work on that(echoes, botw, totk).
Re: Review: Shin chan: Shiro And The Coal Town (Switch) - A Stunningly Beautiful Game, Uncomplicated Yet Weird
I bought a physical copy from Asia some months ago and I loved every second I spent on this game, a trip worth taking.
Re: Review: Tomb Raider I-III Remastered (Switch) - The Best Way To Rediscover A Gaming Idol
The biggest con for me would be the controls and how the camera locks in narrow areas.

Re: Best Nintendo Switch RPGs
@Ryan_Again Maybe if you are not a fan of the original formula.
For most people who grew up playing Zelda games BoTW was kind of a slap in the face...

Re: Mini Review: Tormented Souls - A Survival Horror Homage For Genre Nuts Only

I like it too. Sorry but I think its great (technical issues aside)!
Re: Review: Balan Wonderworld - A Charmless, Confusing Fossil From The Creators Of Sonic
I just finished it. Had a really good time. Yes it is flawed but there is heart and charm in it...
Re: Review: Control: Ultimate Edition - A Highly Convincing Proof-Of-Concept For Cloud Gaming On Switch
40euros for a cloud game? No thanks, I bought the ultimate edition on PS4 for 35! Seriously the pricing isnt right...

Re: Review: The Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition - Still A Fine First-Person Puzzler Five Years On

too late, already finished it. The port could have been better but I did not experience any major issues...
Re: Soapbox: I Don't 'Get' Smash Bros. And I Just Don't Know Why

Re: Here’s Why Traditional Dungeons Got Axed in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Worst idea ever and the reason I disliked botw. People who dont like dungeons in Zelda games are not Zelda fans, they just claim to be.
