I’d be interested in Wind Walker again IF Nintendo adds some of the cut content. Surely it wouldn’t be too difficult. Hand it over to Grezzo or something. They did a great job with the 3DS ports
When you consider a lot of epic fantasy TV is full of British actors and their accents it kind of makes sense that the odd epic fantasy video game also has British accents.
Regarding MK9. It’s possible we could see it on Switch, perhaps E3 next year, and it will have DLC. Then it can be released again for Switch 2 as MK9 Deluxe with all the DLC included.
I don’t want to moan too much because we don’t know yet but I hope the Story mode DLC is free! Paying for a story mode seems a little tight to me. Looking forward to the game whatever though
@Krull Spot on. It does seem like Kemco sales are reported here on NL whereas other publishers sales (apart from the big hitters - Nintendo, Capcom, Ubisoft) are rarely mentioned. It might just be that Kemco have a good PR unit and they do have a lot of sales.
Super Mario Party was great and it's one of the few games me and my GF play together. Looking forward to this one as I have very fond memories of the N64 games even though I remember them looking so much better then they do in that video!
@BionicDodo Yeah I have quite a few of there books too and it is similar. The print quality is still only OK and there is the odd typo. However, I think it's worth overlooking these things as the detail and research that goes into each game featured is impressive.
I really enjoy the Shin Megami Games. After 30 hours of play, largely on the train on the way to work, I've nearly completed Devil Survivor 2 on the 3DS. It's a SRPG but the excellent battle mechanics are still there. For anyone really into the series or wants to know more about it I highly recommend the 'Guide to Shin Megami Tensei & Persona' book from Hardcore Gaming 101 (it's on Amazon). Anyway, I'm looking forward to picking this game up next week.
Unexpected but welcome news. Previous Nintendo consoles have had 2 or 3 different versions of Mario Party on them so a new game is possible. Perhaps they are releasing this online mode to test the potential for online on Super Mario Party 2...
Kemco: We have a sale on! Nintendo Life: Ooooo I'll pop it up on our page Kemco: Cheers mate Nintendo Life: No worries Nintendo Life Comment 1: Any of these any good? Nintendo Life Comment 2: Nah not really. Game X and Game Y are OK I guess. (A few weeks pass) Kemco: We have a sale on!
If I ever had the time I would love to do this. I used to do it when I was about 12 years old and back then games actually had manuals. Well done Aurumonado.
@ZeldaFanboy78 Pretty sure this gets asked on every Kemco discount article (therefore about once a month). I think the general consensus is probably not unless you want a very generic and bland RPG. I think some are slightly better than others but I wouldn't know I'm afraid. I'm sure someone does, probably.
Got my physical copy a few days early and been enjoying playing it with my g/f. I say enjoying, it's pretty stressful at times. Tip when playing with friends and family - communication is very important. Honestly, it's like working in a proper kitchen. Yelling orders to one another really helps.
@Quarth Agreed. There are far too many limited edition releases and with many of them being Limited Run or similar it's just impossible or far too expensive to get a physical copy of some of these games. Good to see another indie hit getting a widely available physical release. Top 10 debut is a great result
@Clyde_Radcliffe Was just looking for a physical copy in the UK too. Seems strange as the Crash Bandicoot games always sell really well here. Perhaps a physical version will be out in a few months. The time between a Switch version being announced and its release was, if memory serves, pretty short so maybe one is in the process of being produced.
The earlier ToCS games on Switch would be great. I really want to play III & IV however the fact they are so story driven really puts me off jumping in halfway through
Shame about Bravely Default 2 not hitting big numbers but it's not massively surprising. I am looking forward to playing it but my backlog is massive and I haven't picked it up yet. Plus the reviews have been good but also make it clear that it isn't too different to the original and Bravely Second which is a key audience for this game.
I think the comments about quality control on the eShop is a serious one. Nintendo needs to find a better way to display games on there especially as more and more people buy digital these days. Yes allowing pretty much any game to appear on the eShop will earn Nintendo a few quid and there is the odd hidden gem BUT in the long run it will damage Nintendo's reputation for quality and mean that good games are overlooked.
As a long time Nintendo fan in the UK, this makes a change. The days of me struggling to find the shelf of Wii U games is finally over...for a bit anyway
Looks really nice. However with the ongoing stock problems I recommend checking out the guys at RetroSix. Their refurbished Game Boy hardware is amazing. I think Nintendo Life covered them in an earlier article maybe.
Have to take these rumours with a pinch of salt (as always). However Nintendo have great momentum at the moment and they'll want to keep that up. A Switch Pro (I quite like the name Switch Plus) would help drive sales over Christmas when the PS5/Xbox are more widely available in stores. I'm sure a lot of early Switch adopters would also buy again, I certainly would.
Just started to play my 3DS again. I've collected quite a few RPGs and strategy games that I need to get started on. Currently playing Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2. The dual screens really are perfect for RPG/strategy games.

Re: Video: Are 2D Games Worth $60? Jon, Alex And Zion Share Their Own Thoughts
Anyone who implies a game is not worth $60 because it is 2D (or 2.5D) is also implying that any game in 3D is worth $60 which is just plain wrong.
Like any game, wait for the reviews and feedback from other gamers then make your own decision. It's your money, spend it how you like.

Typical Kemco. Nintendo have a good E3 and they go and steal all the limelight with a big, never to be repeated, sale.
