I'd be pretty interested if Nintendo made a game that had a Western type feel. That'd make great variety, maybe they could go for thought-provoking things, and break their "Nintendo is kiddy" image to the public. They of course shouldn't abandon their old IP's, but giving something completely new would be fantastic.
People always ask me, "Why don't you just play good fighting games, like Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter?" No, I just want to play Shaq Fu, that's where it's at. I've been dedicating years of my life to finding this rare delicacy. It's all about Shaq Fu.
@SanderEvers They're adding tons more content to the Wii U versions, and working out some hidden kinks. Really, man? I know they handled it poorly, but you're still not over it?
Look, Livingstone isn't a fanboy, he's saying this because he wants more people to play Nintendo's amazing games, not because he thinks Nintendo is crap.
He may understand why they're exclusive, and he may not. But it seems he thinks that not enough people play on Nintendo devices.
@SCAR392 The games aren't similar (btw only All-Stars has the gauge system).
Due to you having to finish someone off with a gauge move, and not knock them off the stage, the tactics and style of play have to be done differently by the player. It's pretty easy to see the differences is style of play. While the mechanics and combat may be similar, the play styles are very different.
In Brawl, you want to find the best way to knock off your opponents and do some damage to them. You don't have to worry to much about being damaged since you can still win even with getting hit a lot by climbing back on the platform and dodging.
In All-Stars, you have to focus on filling your gauge, while trying to slow down your enemy from filling up theirs. I'm not an All-Stars expert, but since you were using yourself as an example, I'd like to point out it was hard for me to get a hang of it.
I want to get this game, but I still haven't picked up some earlier games I'd like to try. The lack of online does bother me somewhat, but I don't think it's a dealbreaker, just something that's pushing me back a little. From what I've heard, this is a really good port gameplay and graphics wise, and I never played a sniper elite game.
@TeslaChippie What? This is just a fan trailer. It doesn't define anything from a movie if they were to make a movie. Do you really think exploration and puzzles would make a good trailer? Even Nintendo shows off the action when making trailers for zelda. -_-
I like the gamepad the most, since that crazy touchscreen. Call me crazy, but my second favorite is the Wii remote. The controller pro for the wii u is also fantastic.
@Ralizah I never really understood how the Duelshock is the best. I'm all for playing favorites, and you probably were just using implications rather than saying general best, but I just don't get it in a general rational way
What a great line-up! I don't have any of those, I wonder how much I'll get.
Wait, I'm less than a hundred coins from getting the game & watch, I could get the remaining coins if I finished the post-play surveys, arrghgh which one should it dooo...
The part about mobile games taking a bite out of the 3DS makes Pachter look like Captain Obvious.
Unless the Xbox One and PS4 has some crazy gimmick to them that makes people buy both early on, I don't think that most traditional, or casual gamers will flock to them immediately. I'm surprised that he's predicting two Wii selling consoles when others say that there will be a crash, and that both will sell out at launch.
@CliffordB So many people are enjoying Wii U VC, and it's occupying us when we finish the small amount of games that's releasing. I assure you it's not useless.
Are you really saying that VC, even with the amazing deals and special discounts, with some really neat games, even though I got Super Metroid for 30 cents, it's the weakest feature on the Wii U?
@EpicGamer The Origins demo on the 3DS was horrible, and I've heard the port was too, but coming from someone who has played the app everyday, I can assure you that Legends will be one of the greats. So was Origins.
Disney Infinity's gameplay is hardly comparable to Skylanders. Just because it has NFC and Disney in it does not make it a bad, kiddie, casual game. It looks quite fantastic
I got this game a while back when it was on sale, and adore it. There are plenty of improvements that could be made, like adding a larger singleplayer mode, rather than just a challenge mode, but I still like it a lot.
Many people did complain about the price, so I think this is a good solution.
I'm a fan of Warren Spector, and I agree with most he says. I really hope that his next game will be able to make it to a Nintendo console, I'd really love to experience it.
And for those who'll say, "But the PS4 about the games, too", I think he was speaking of the company itself. Sony has divisions focused on movies, music, video games, and tech. Nintendo, right now, is a video game company.
@NintenU Those people are called generous and investing, nowhere near stupid.
Crowdfunding allows the gamer to decide what game they want, rather than it being approved by the publisher. Do you really think most of these indie games would release without crowdfunding? They wouldn't be made, or they wouldn't have the same amount of freedom/quality they could have from crowdfunding.
There is no rational reason for you to be calling Kickstarter a bad thing, because people asking for money isn't negative in general.

@DerpSandwich I suggest you look up someone actually playing this game. It's quite hilarious watching someone else play this XD
Re: Ubisoft: With The Right Games Wii U Will Find Its Public
@wolfcreek Didn't the PSP have 80 million sales? That doesn't sound like a failure to me.
Re: Ubisoft: With The Right Games Wii U Will Find Its Public
@rjejr There's Disney interactive, but they don't make quite as much games as Ubisoft.
Re: Ubisoft: With The Right Games Wii U Will Find Its Public
@LDXD Your favorite system is not an opinion, it's a preference. Whether you think a system is the best is an opinion.

Re: Masahiro Sakurai Confirms Smash Bros. Reveal For Next Week's Nintendo Direct
@Phantom_R Well, I'll be playing on Wii U and 3DS. I cringe a bit when people refer to Wii U and 3DS games and only say 3DS, but it's understandable.

@NINTENBOY Since when was online multiplayer half of the experience?
I thought Nintendo fans didn't care whether something was online or not, I guess I was wrong.
Re: Talking Point: E3 2013 Is All About The Games
E3 sure is exciting, and I gotta find the exact place where the blockbuster is, since it's in my city.
Anyways, I still need to pick up some older Wii U games, and I can't wait for more to come.

I chose Rayman. Everyday I go play the Challenge App, and I absolutely adore it.
