Re: Pac-Man And The Ghostly Adventures Chomping Its Way To Wii U And 3DS This Year

IIaprghwrughapiw

@WiiURockz Defintion of review

1. look at something critically: to examine something to make sure that it is adequate, accurate, or correct

2. give opinion on something: to write a journalistic report on the quality of a new play, book, movie, concert, or other public performance

There are subjective, objective, and a mix of both. Many gamers depend on objective reviews to see what games are worth buying since it focuses on the content itself. Subjective reviews are the personal feelings and thoughts about a game and how it. The mix is an intelligent review with flair. Okay, perhaps that wasn't the best way to explain the last one, but you do get what I mean right?

There is a difference between liking a game, and if you think it's generally good. The mix obviously mixes those two into the score. The subjective base it on how much they liked it, and objective's scores base it on the actual quality. Of course, people's senses of quality may be different, but it's far different from opinion; it's your thoughts.

Re: Rumour: Tomodachi Collection: New Life Update to Remove Same-Sex Marriage

IIaprghwrughapiw

As for not adding same sex (romantic) relationships because of certain features, the best example would be Fire Emblem Awakening.

SPOILERS.

Many complained about no same sex marriage in the game because of discrimination, but there's actually a significant reason for it: marriage between two characters triggers a sidequest, where you can recruit the future child of that couple. They couldn't do that with same sex marriage.

Re: Peter Molyneux: If I were Nintendo, I'd Put Mario On The iPad

@rjejr

1. Tempted or not, it obviously seems that Peter Moleneux was a Nintendo CEO he would put it on the ipad. Super Mario Bros. would make a ton of cash on iOS, that's why he'd do it.

2. I'm pretty sure he was referring to Super Mario Bros., not any random thing with Mario's name branded on it.

3. Your logic doesn't make sense. You think that Nintendo won't survive, but Xbox and Playstation will? "if they don't like Sony they can make future Mario games for the future Xboxen". The Xbox's sales is a joke in Japan, so they wouldn't put games on there. The reason I don't expect Nintendo to fail and Sony to continue, is that Nintendo and Sony both have a console performing poorly atm. The hype for the PS4 is weak, and sure, devs and publishers are pretty much worshiping the PS4 now, but didn't they do the same with the Wii U? I'm sure if the PS4 has bad sales, they'll turn their corporate backs on it immediately.

Re: Rumour: Rockstar Won't Be Bringing WWE Or Grand Theft Auto To The Wii U

IIaprghwrughapiw

To be fair I wasn't going to buy it in the first place, and perhaps I'm weak-willed when looking at fictional violence at GTA level (but I'm not against them, of course). Given that this is a popular franchise, it would help the Wii U, and I say the more games the better. I hope this rumor is false, and if it isn't, let's prove them wrong about being unprofitable by buying Watch Dogs and Splinter Cell.

Re: Road Redemption Developer Has No Legal Worries Regarding Road Rash Comparison

IIaprghwrughapiw

@chiptoon Do you have a fear of guns? It'll still be combat based even if there weren't guns. Most fantasy games we play are combat based. Does it make any difference if a guy is carrying a sword, but it's bad if someone carries a gun? I won't make fun of you if you have a fear of guns, they can empower anyone including ones you fear most, but if we can separate a sword from reality and know it's fiction, why can't we do that with guns?

Re: Capcom Not Turning Its Back On Home Console Development

IIaprghwrughapiw

Dear Capcom,

Just give us good games, and don't set your expectations too high, Capcom. I don't care whether it's Megaman, Monster Hunter, or Revelations. If you make a good game, I'll give you money. None of that boycotting crap when you're doing something good. You don't have to make a Megaman game, just make ANY good game.

A random consumer, HeatBombastic.

Re: CNN Money: Nintendo Is "Tone Deaf" To Industry Trends And Has "Lost Touch With Reality"

IIaprghwrughapiw

Something a company or person did in the past should not represent them in the present. Yes, the Wii U launch was bad, but probably due to the bad 3DS launch. Why? If they planned better for the 3DS, they would've had more time for Wii U games. Shows how much one or two mistakes can mess you up in the future.

Super Mario Bros. on mobile devices? How would the controls even work? Yeah, they could use digital D-pad and buttons, but wouldn't running and jumping be awkward on a touchscreen?

They seem to do Miiverse very well (I'm not looking forward to PS4's streaming facebook). Despite the fact it's almost impossible to debate with people there, you gotta give em credit for that.

Re: Pokémon: DP Battle Dimension Shows Now Available via Nintendo Zone in Europe

IIaprghwrughapiw

@Luigifan141 None of them were good in the first place. I'm not saying opinion, as in, I like it so therefore it's good, or good for me. I'm saying generally good. It always had a bad narrative, and execution of narrative. All of the characters were wood, in terms of acting and personality. Sure you can picture an in-depth persona for them using tiny details in the show, but it's just like forcing yourself to understand Bowsers reasons for kidnapping Peach. I like this show, but it's definitely not good in terms of quality, and has never been. Watch Nostalgia Critic's episode on this for a non-Pokemon fan view on the show (or at least the movie that everyone loves).

Re: Pokémon: DP Battle Dimension Shows Now Available via Nintendo Zone in Europe

IIaprghwrughapiw

@Luigifan141 I'm pretty sure all of them dragged out, they just talked faster in the older ones. I'm not sure if you watched the whole DP saga, but I watched the whole thing. You know how you can make out the personalities and hidden traits of a character if you tried? That's the kind of thing people do with the old characters, so just pretend Paul has a complex personality (at least he's more complex than Gary in the first season).

I'm pretty sure a saga, is all of the seasons per region. Like what Dragon Ball Z did. I'm guess you watch the Japanese versions.

Some of the seasons may be slightly worse than the others, but my point still stands. Most of the complaints made by consumers toward the newer series, can be easily applied to the first. Competing for the worst Pokemon season in the first place is difficult since none of them were exactly good in the first place.

Re: Pokémon: DP Battle Dimension Shows Now Available via Nintendo Zone in Europe

People always complain about bad-voice acting, bad story, bad characters, bad pacing. All of these things were present in the first season.

For the people who actually complain about too much Pokemon, there was too many from the start. For those people that say it would've been darker, and Ash was going to grow up, the producers knew what they were doing, go watch the first episodes and tell me it wasn't meant for kids.

You're not a young child anymore, and you know the ins and outs of Pokemon, that's why it's not entertaining anymore. And even if you are a young child who doesn't like it, it could be because (A) The child is not interested in action/adventure/ has an early sense of quality. (B) Knows the ins and outs of Pokemon. (C) They don't like it?

I lost train of thought.
