Mario & Sonic platformer? Come on people. The platforming games are like East and West. The Kart racing games are much closer in terms of gameplay, and they both feel pretty different btw.

The lack of hype for the Wii U for Wii U already latched on to the other consoles (Not really latching, it's just less excitement for all of them). People actually think they mean big time trouble for Nintendo?

Most casual consumers will not see the point in buying a new console that has no obvious defining new features other than better graphics, and new games (Unless there's a crazy killer-app like Wii Sports).

I predict all 3 will have bad start due to the horrendous state of the economy, and perhaps lack of decent advertising and publishers being too afraid of putting games on there.

Why do people think that if it doesn't sell like the Wii, it'll sell like the gamecube?

Nintendo has gained tons of hardcore fans from the wii. Just ask on Miiverse what console people had during 6th gen, most I've asked said PS2, and no gamecube. How did they gain fans? Since the Wii was a must have, people who got PS2 and then got Wii (because they must've got what was hot at the time) and started to get much more attached to gaming.

It might sound like this has no significance, but I'm certain Nintendo has gained a plethora of new fans from the Wii, even of it meant losing some "hardcore dudebros real gamers".

@Olaf-symbiote Since when was Ubi a bad publisher? I know the released crappy games during 6th gen, and the Rayman delay was handled horribly, but aren't their game good? Rayman Origins is fantastic, and so far so is Rayman: Legends.

This is what he declares as fact. Yes, people say "this is good" as in "I like it" even though those are two different things. I don't know if he's getting paid or whatever, but these unprofessional comments were a completely stupid action to take. Not just opinion, I think people can generally agree with me on that.

@Dpullam Brawl is my favorite, even with the tripping.

Smash Bros. improves upon game upon game. Brawl made the gameplay much smoother and tighter than the last (Sakurai's just being a fanboy XP).

The OS and design of it would probably be completely inaccurate if it happened. Just because they have that sort of arrangements and tradition now, does not mean it would carry on to a smartphone.

How can LP's be 10x harder than original content? Yes, playing a game takes time, but so does original content creation. Look at freddiew. His videos are original (yes, parodies included), and let's guess how hard that is.

We aren't freddiew, but surely we can also put as much hard work and quality into vids that aren't lp's.

The control scheme, and not to mention they'll be no use of the 3D (Unless they use gamecube controls, which is limited compared to Wiimote and touchscreen controllers). An HDMI port would mess up the shape, and they'd have to make a new system entirely.

@Metal_Sonic Shin Megami Tensei: Overclocked, and the other Smt games? I'm not sure if you know that much about the library. Have you played Kid Icarus Uprising? Not to mention all the awesome indie games.

The glitch was that the game saw the male mii as a female mii. Male mii's would talk differently, and would get pregnant. I think it's okay if they fix that.
