I must say, The Wii U feels a lot like the Sega Saturn, both had underpreforming launches, and both consoles had few games in their last year. Both still had great games, but they were cut short by the competiotion. A lot of games developed for the Saturn switched to the PlayStation or was put on hold for the launch of the Dreamcast, the same thing is happening now with the Wii U.
@Chubblings Zelda U is going to be a big game. First they figured out they could do more with the Wii U hardware. And secondly it's easy to underestimate the time it takes to make a game, you can see that with many games. Also Tp was supposed to come out in 2005, came out in 2006, and I believe skyward sword was planned come earlier. Look at the bright side though, Zelda U will be the major 30th anniversary Zelda release
This game never came out in Europe We Europeans had to wait until it was available on the Wii Virtual Console or buy an American SNES along with the game.

@neufel That was not case in Norway But Bergsala (The Scandinavian distributor of Nintendo Products) raised the price compared to the US
