Um guys. I think you need to get a new copy editor or proofreader. The first three releases under New Releases have the same description for Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs...
No mention of the original remake/remaster of Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions for PSP? If they remastered the original and not the PSP game I'd be surprised.
Has everyone missed the fact that you lose access to the DLC of your do now renew your Expansion Pass subscription? It's in the fine print. That means you are better off buying the DLC outright unless you have a family plan and multiple people on it play AC and that becomes a moot point after a few years.
You all know that they make reproduction shells right? So they probably only used a DS for parts. I'm not 100% sure since I haven't watched the video yet.
While there are some mods out there that I don't understand (Retro Future's LongBoy for example), this one looks pretty cool. I wonder if the rest of you think the portable Wii and PS2 out there are "abominations" too.
@Gwynbleidd They aren't justifying the price or "satisfaction" based on the fact that it's never been rereleased. These are good games and the fact they are being released in am offical capacity is great. They are actually deepet than the arcade games and offer more replaybility. If you've never played these before than you can't say they aren't with the money. You are just basing your opinion on the fact that the game is old and you can emulate it for free, which some people don't want to do. did you complain about the price of the Shantae rereleases?
Completely unexpected but a nice surprise. I've played both (might own both or just the first) and they are good. Might pick it up onc. I check which of the two games I own
@Stocksy Actually not really, at least not in the US. Neo Geo Pocket sold poorly in the states. I think they should be $5 each but I'm not surprised they are getting for $7.50.
I kinda want to get it, but I own almost all of the games and only really care about Dark Arms and the Metal Slug games. Hopefully this sells well enough that we get Vol. 2 digitally and physically with a better variety of games.
I really wish reviewers would mention how the text scales in handheld mode, especially with visual novels like this. I almost didn't pick this up worrying that the heft would be too small like with Shantae Half-Genie Hero. I guess them not mentioning it would mean it's fine?
@Ryu_Niiyama Same here. The games play like the Ghouls ‘n Ghosts series of games and those faces are an aquired taste. I wonder if Matthew would score them as low as these games. If not, that's not fair to the games.
I truly don't understand why some people cannot accept that just because they haven't existing joycon drift doesn't mean others haven't. If you only have two joycon and can't afford to buy a spare controller while they are out for repair, your Switch turns into an expensive paperweight. My friend didn't have joycons for months as she sent hers out for repair just as COVID-19 hit and had to wait until repair centers reopened. That's not fair to her.
@Rhaoulos I never said that. I said they are not one on the same. Jailbreaking can lead to pirating, but they are not mutually enclusive. If you can't accept that, that's your prerogative.
@Rhaoulos That is completely false. Pirating software hurts publishers and developers. If I hack my Switch and only use it for Remote Play on my PS4 web I'm hurting no one. What you do after your jailbreak/hack a device determines what is illegal.
@raygboyd333 Hope it's it beating a dear horse? They game had gotten very little press silver it originally came out so it kinda needs to be written about. I would have missed it off not for articles like this.
If this was shaped like an original GBA, I'd preorder it right now. I just don't think those tiny triggers will be comfortable to use. Also with my big hands, i don't know how comfortable a vertical system will be during long gameplay sessions.
While I agree that they got screwed over, they do seem to forget they necked the game do it would be made. If they didn't back it, there is a chance it might not have been made. Hopefully Platinum does something to make this right, though i have a feeling it might not happen.
@shaneoh You were presented the Terms when you booted the system for the first time. If you didn't read it or care about it, that doesn't mean it doesn't apply to you. Stick your head in the sand all you want, but just because you don't understand you entered an agreement doesn't mean you didn't anymore.
@ancientlii Yes there is. You have your GCN controllers' wires pulled over the top of the Switch or hanging out the sides of the dock. They would have been better placed on they bottom of the dock facing forward.
I just want to know if we have to keep paying for Bank in order to keep pulling Pokémon from old games into Home. If so, that is going to suck for those of us that replay the old games and want to migrate them up. I can see myself posing Heart Gold and bringing my team into Sword and Shield (or future games).
Why did you guys leave out the new SN30 Pro+ (https://www.8bitdo.com/sn30-pro-plus/)? That controller is supposedly better and more comfortable than the SN30 Pro.
@JayJ That's harsh. I haven't yet issues with my SNES30. Maybe quality has dropped since I bought it?
As for the PCP mod: It's interesting, but I don't know if it's worth it for me. I do like the idea of having a BT
6-button Genesis controller for fighting games. Sadly out only seems to fit in JPN controllers 😫
@TheOpponent The one I know for sure that did well was the Skull and Co GripCase. I love mine. The large grips (interchangeable with smaller ones) are great for my big man-paws.
I'm really liking the idea of this adapter. The only thing I'm worried about is the audio latency. The codecs they mentioned aren't compatible with all BT headphones and headsets. For example, my Plantronics BackBeat FIT 505s use BT 4.1, but not ACC or AptX. I don't think the adapter will be low-latency for most headsets that people own.
@NotSoCryptic @roadrunner343 The game was originally written for a different platform. They didn't say they would have online multiplayer (unless I missed something). It was assumed by the public to be included. When it was found out it wasn't, they complained. 3DClouds explained why and with a valid reasongl (money and development time). Based on what you'd are saying, they shouldn't release the game because they don't have multiplayer.
@Findonovan95 Really? Why did they have to sacrifice to keep you happy? Be realistic.
@Smigit Reread the article. They did:
There are no games supporting online on Switch that run on Unreal Engine 4 -please correct us if we are wrong- (Rocket League does but it uses the previous UE version, they have their own online architecture and a budget that we can only dream about) so what should we do: spend a lot of time and money trying to create the online mode from the scratch knowing that noone has done it before and knowing that we would need to ask continuos support to Epic (which is not garanteed since we are not Bethesda, for instance) or release the game without the online section and do this investment only and only if we are sure that time and money spent were worth spending?"
@LucBL @tekknik What part of "create the online mode from the scratch" are you guys not understanding? No where in that support article did I see anything about online multiplayer. 3DClouds said if a dev wants to/can put in the time and money into developing their own online architecture, they can get it working in UE4. From what they say, they don't have the funds. I'm taking then at their word. If they cut local multiplayer, then I'd like to know why.
@roadrunner343 I have to.agree with you that the dev sound have know what they were getting into, but getting on as it's "their job to ensure the use the best tool for the job" is harsh. They aren't going to jump to a new game engine just to get online multiplayer working on Switch.
Quite happy to see many people call out this article on being misleading aka click-bait. The now I see this happen on Nintendo Life the less I feel bad for using an ad-blocker.

@rjejr 100% agree with you. It feels like they are inventing use cases just to have something to show on the Kickstarter page.

Re: Review: SNK VS. Capcom: Card Fighters' Clash - An Utterly Essential Card-Battler
Does it include both versions of the game? They did Pokémon-like dual release: one focusing on SNK characters and the other Capcom.
Re: Feature: How One Small Company Is Making The Switch Joy-Con You Always Dreamed Of
I'd love to know why the shells they use look exactly like the eXtremeRate replacement shells yet they don't credit them for parts on their site...
Also those seem way too over priced. The shells themselves are $20-25 USD max. They are making approx $36 USD based on current pricing on parts
Re: Deals: Grab 60% Off Zelda, Mario, Splatoon, And More Switch Games With GameStop's Black Friday Deals (US)
@CharlieGirl A used copy is currently $24.99. It's a roll of the dice if you get a case and cover/insert.

This isn't a console. It's a PC, a UMPC specifically. It's running Windows 10 for goodness sake!
@AJDarkstar These will sell. Why do you think it's called the GPD Win 3. GPD had been doing well enough to make a third one.
