Re: GTA Trilogy Could Be This Year's 'Cyberpunk 2077' As Rockstar Is Flooded With Refund Requests

This Trilogy is no-where near being in the state that Cyberpunk was. All 3 games are vastly improved with a few frame rate issues hear and there, no of which are game breaking.
Also, Cyberpunk was a AAA title with a huge budget and massive development time, there was no excuse for that mess. GTA Trilogy on the other hand just needs a few small updates to sort the frame rate and it's good.

I've watched loads of footage of this and spoken to people who own the game on Switch, and... Its way better than this review is saying. These 'remasters' are exactly that. Graphically superior to the originals and mostly run better with a few hiccups here and there, nothing anywhere near gamebreaking . I wasn't expecting anything crazy. So, my physical pre-order is firmly in place, and I can't wait to start GTA 3 all over again.

@Savino in my opinion it's worth the upgrade, especially if you play handheld a lot. It's not only the screen that's been updated, the whole build of the system is much more robust. My day 1 Switch felt very delicate in comparison. For example the new fan grate is much stronger with thicker plastic, so hopefully won't be prone to cracking or breaking off like previous.

Re: Soapbox: Joy-Con Aren't Perfect, But They're Great For Sick Day Gaming

I'd like to know how many people who complain about drift have actually tried cleaning them (not talking taking them apart!). I've only ever had one Joy-Con from day 1 get sticky (not-drift) and a bit of contact cleaner under the seal sorted it fine. Used my original pair and subsequent pair for hundreds of hours without issue. My original joy-con are a little looser now but that's pretty normal with any joystick.
In my opinion they're no worse than any other controller for drifting. I've had multiple DualShock 4's drift as have friends, same with Xbox controllers, so it's a very common problem.

All joystick controllers can develop drifting. I've had multiple PS4 controllers that have, but normally it's just dust/dirt and easily fixed with a bit of contact cleaner or canned air.
I've had my Switch since launch and my originally Joy-Con are fine, as are my 2nd pair and both my Pro Controllers, and I've played a lot in handheld including things like Doom 2016 which are heavy on joysticks.
Drifting will never go away, pure and simple. Just keep things clean and they'll last much longer.
