"I beat the final boss in under a minute." You need to be clearer about this the game has 3 different final bosses and locations based on who your main hero was. Duran/Angela - Dragon Lord Kevin/Charlotte - Dark Lich Riesz/Hawkey - Dark Majesty
This Bastardisation of the fronht mission series needs to end now FE have trashed each remake. I for one am glad they will not be allowed to do panzer dragoon zewi.
Can I transfer my Gamecube save with all the cars and tracks unlocked and most of the ending intros, Guess not.
I really don't want to do it a second time to get all the unlocks. Also as this won't have the arcade card transfer you won't be able to unlock all the car parts unless they create a save with it all unlocked.
Nintendo have a long history of releasing games which have extras when played on certain hardware.eg Zelda DX where the dungeon can only be accessed on the gameboy colour. I have long been expecting this to happen with switch 2. I can see switch 1 games getting extras added to them that you can only access on switch 2.
The PC version was £2.99 last week in the steam sale so you can get it at a bargin price.
I don't get it they re-released the not great Chrono Cross on switch. All I want is the original version in a emulator. A collection of the old snes squaresoft games would be great. Instead what we get are piss poor remakes of front mission and mana. I really don't want to see a remake of chrono it would be worst than the original. I don't think the side quests added to the game after the snes version where very good as they very over used palette swaps.
At least they did release a snes collection of the first 3 mana games on switch.
@larryisaman I think you are 100% correct I first played it on emulator as despite being a PAL SNES owner at the time import prices where totally out of my pocket money range. I have the nintendo magzine review from the time where they begged for the game to get a UK release.
By that point most of the games they reviewed where imports as well. Which just added to the pain of being a PAL Snes owner.
Sorry to say this but you got a bad review here the Taito Milestones 3 are cutback version of the single arcade archives. You need to be calling hamsters out here as commenters have mentioned.
The Caravan and hi score modes have been removed along with the ability to select your rom version so no rainbow island extra.
Both previous milestones where the same. Thunder fox and Dead connection will get a single release at some point in the coming months with the extra features.
It been out in the UK for a while on xbox. clear river games took over the publishing right for switch and playstation and have yet to release it in the west
Bought this to see how bad it would be and the review is spot on. Visual are bad and have none of the original charm. The real crime is the forever entertainment are allowed to keep putting out remakes which are worse than the originals.
the problem is the so called pro in this case is playing as magneto and sentinel to of the most broken characters in the game and using infinite combos.
This is not a fair fight and is the same as someone using a cheat device.
The problem I have is if people just use broken characters it forces out new players and means other so called pro's will just abuse the game as well.
I been playing this series since x-men cota was in the arcade but I won't abuses broken elements
@MirrorFate2 that been the issue with all the capcom collections they are missing the home extras. So this will also not have the extra speeds or colours found in the saturn version of XM vs SF. Nor will it have the ability to play as the same character in MVC2. Indeed it's vampire savior which suffers the most in previous collections as it's missing 3 characters.
Capcom had to remove characters from the arcade version due to the memory limit of the arcade something the PS1 and Sega saturn did not have an issue with.
@Serpenterror do your research buddy, Xmen cota, Akuma can be played in all Saturn versions and Juggernaut can be played in the USA or JP not EU in versus mode.
Akuma, Juggernaut, Magneto can be used in the PS1 version in versus mode.
As for Norimaro he was never seen outside of the Japanese release of MSH vs SF this is because Marvel did not like the character. Some of his moves where even censored in the jp arcade release as Marvel where so unhappy with him. Yes their where some extra rights around him he is technically a street fighter character.
@Vyacheslav333 Saturn X-men versus street fighter has extra speed settings and addition colour sets not found in the arcade version
As someone that has played x-men cota since it was first released in the arcades and got the games on saturn when they came out I know plenty about this series. It annoys me when people don't do their research.
Great to see them getting a re-release only downside is it well be missing some of the extras found in the home versions. Playable bosses and game modes will be missing. Plus my biggest bug bear being the lack of a verses mode where you can select your character each time.
@MirrorFate2 if you buy an arcade archive title on it's own you get to pick the version of the rom you want to use eg Europe, Japan, USA. You can also play a hi-score mode and a caravan mode all of this is removed from the Taito milestone releases.
So for instance when they release 3 I bet you will only get the standard rainbow islands and won't be able choose between the standard and extra version of the game.
This was a very popular as I had been playing it quite recently. The game had lots of japanese players. The reason people will be some what annoyed with this is a number of the subs can only be unlocked via online play. So that means now using unoffical servers is the only way to unlock them.

Re: Chances Are You've Never Heard Of Nightdive Studio's Latest Switch Rerelease
Given the current tread around AI this is quite fitting. I assume this will be uncensored? As it is a very dark game.

Re: Conan The Barbarian Joins Mortal Kombat 1's DLC Roster Next Week
@Bratwurst35 I am not a fan of the amount of guest characters in MK either and I have met few people that are.
If they want to do a all guest film figter game great but no more in MK please
Re: UK Charts: Ys Memoire Narrowly Makes The Top 40 In Another Quiet Week
@Serpenterror remember this is only retail charts YS 3 also got released on PS4 but that version is download only. I bought mine on PS4.
This version has also been available on steam for many years. it would be nice if the remakes of 1&2 also make the jump to newer consoles.

Re: Review: Night Slashers: Remake (Switch) - Some Nice, Gory Ideas, But The Visuals Are The Real Horror Story
@Tom-Massey I had the very slight hope they might include the original version as an extra but it was not too be.
As I was never able to get the Johnny Turbo Arcade Version as it was removed in the UK some years ago
We can only hope Hamster start doing Data East games in the arcade archives.
