Re: Sales Of Hyrule Warriors On Switch Exceeded Koei Tecmo's Expectations

Edgarmtanaka

When in portable for me the text is a little small and you notice on the text that it is a little pixilated so it's harder to read. The FPS may be affected but it's not like it's unplayable. For me at least it's almost unnoticeable if I don't start to compare them, I say the gaming experience is the same. At least for me its not laggy and controls are good, story is the same, good quality music comes from the speakers and characters movement and skills are the same. Through my own experience I do not beleave that there is a 30 FPS difference, maby 10 and up to 30 in very rare ocations. I play alot handheld and I do not have that much problems with battery time compared to other games, also I have good power bank to last a little more than one full charge so battery time is rarely any problem for me.

Re: Reggie Says Nintendo Competes For Consumer Time, Not Concerned About Direct Competition

Edgarmtanaka

I don't understand peoples fixation of having webbrowser and Netflix on their Switch. When you are away you have your phone, when you are home you have your television. Also I am using Chrome cast so even if I go away to a place that has TV I always take my Google Chrome with me.

If I had Netflix on my Switch and said I don't need to take chromecast with me, then I am doomed as my wife would use the switch to look at Netflix and I would be unable to play games on it.

I have always said that Nintendo does gaming console and Sony and Microsoft does media boxes. I don't need that, I got a PC that is even more powerful than a PS4 and it can do everything it can do and a little more. So understand his statement. Also it is not only about what consumers do with the console, it is about how much money and time they will spend to implement features that has nothing to do with playing games.

Re: Guide: The Best Metroid Games - Every Metroid Game Ranked

Edgarmtanaka

My list of Metroid top 5 games:
Metroid Other M
Metroid: Samus returns
Super Metroid
Metroid Zero mission
Metroid Fusion

The metroid prime games are no real metroid games in my opinion and I dislike the FPS style, just like with Castlevania games are supposed to be sidescrolling hence the name of the type metroidvania games. Metroid is the original game, it is an awesome game and has a good quality but still the others are upgrades of the game in different ways and thus makes this below my top 5 but without it there would never had been the others.

Re: Nintendo Labo Contest Winners Include A Solar-Powered Accordion And A Teapot Minigame

Edgarmtanaka

@BigKing duh... Of course it is a toy, what did you expect? You can use a sphero to make WiFi remotely driven coffee brewer if you know how too, it is still a toy. Also the labo is not only about programing, it's about engineering to.

So as a tool to help kids and even adults to form their creativity it is a really powerful tool. Not only that but it is easy to share your creations and usually quite easy to replicate them. What do you suggest is better for foremost kids to use instead of labo to help them with their creativity and also activate them?

Re: Nintendo Labo Contest Winners Include A Solar-Powered Accordion And A Teapot Minigame

@BigKing you are not seeing the big picture. First of all, the teapot game works pretty well like a tabletop game for children. It would entertain even adults when trying to run from table to table. It's not Doom, Fortnite, Splatoons or anything but it is a start. I have seen people doing laser tag games with it, I have seen all sorts of instruments, the labo has alot of possibilities.

It can do alot, people just have to figure out what. Labo is just like every game or program, it is not for everyone. I myself will probably nerver buy Labo since its not my kind of thing. But I acknowledge what it can do, and with the right mind it can be a powerful tool.

Re: Poll: Is Your Nintendo Switch Cracking Under The Pressure?

Edgarmtanaka

I would guess that the cracks in the corner is from stress. Some people even if they are careful handling their stuff may get to rough with it when games becomes a little to tense so some people unwillingly twists the console like right controller forward and left backwards and thus cracks appear.

No, my Switch was preordered, been played stationary and handheld almost everyday and has no scratches or cracks.

Re: Digital Foundry Takes Issue With Hyrule Warriors' Portable Performance On Switch

Edgarmtanaka

I don't notice it at all. I have played it alot both docked and handheld, I enjoy it alot at it has a really good flow.

I rather have better resolution than have better fps that I don't notice anyway.

Edit: Maby my Switch is better than everyone else's Some say they experience slopyness and Lagg in handheld, that is absolutely nothing I experience. And I am quite picky about stutter and lag.
