I can't help feeling the price is do with it. In the current climate for handheld and yes fantastic as it is. The people across the world just don't have the cash.

I personally would love to buy but have other priorities and so Switch 2 will have to wait until maybe next year.

I hope for the UK Market that this will be a cheaper version like Switch 1 Lite was. On side not are developers now abandoning Switch 1 has see little of the releases for Switch 2 on 1 and even reviews of released games. Now being ignored

Am always puzzled on how these type of games that were made for computer fair on consoles.

@Arkay Maybe will be on Switch 2. I doubt this late stage of Switch 1 it would come. The same with Madden

Ultimate Team will pick on Switch. Once people realise its not a legacy game. As for 30fps amazing on old Hardware. Switch 2 will maybe see higher fps

@Kiivi Agree Nintendo need to release Switch 2 soon even early next year. Switch is great console. But seriously showing its age.

In two minds yes 2K Sports need to do better. However there also working on ageing hardware. On the other hand they have no competition EA Sports does not release its NBA Basketball or even Madden on Switch. And sadly in this day age other companies don't make sports titles.

Good don't make the mistake Sony did with PS Vita. The one thing that killed PS Vita alongside its silly memory cards was the lack of being able to play your PSP 3000 Games.

Nintendo need to launch Switch 2 for Christmas 2024. With Microsoft Rumoured to be Launching a XBOX Handheld and Valve a Updated Steam Deck. Nintendo are going to be left behind. The more they hang on even they said Jan 15th 2025 release at least it be better than the current speculation

Switch has been fantastic hit for Nintendo. But the longer they delay in successor the worse it be. Switch is struggling now to play the modern games coming out.

My fear for Switch is that it will be a legacy edition like they did before . If people remember EA Release a Brillant First FIFA then versions afterwards were legacy editions.

Will developers stop releasing games on any platform that riddled with bugs. I get that you will always get bugs but the amount we get now is insane.

Surely releasing a quality title is better than releasing a bug version.

To be honest Nintendo should say Switch 2 will be released Dec 2n 2024. And that has full backward compatibility

I just wish Nintendo would stop messing about and announce Switch 2. And get the hype but the Switch is now old and is struggling to run modern games.

If i remember the PC version was a mess too. Until the patched it. Switch will be the same i suspect.

Question I wonder though if this will the start of new release on switch or will next year be a legacy edition again. Like last time

@anoyonmus Zero competition for EA. Konami never did release Pro Evolution or E-Football on Switch. I bet if Konami had EA would have stepped up to the plate.

One thing I hate about monopolies is that no competition.

@Charles-Stewart-1st EA released one decent version. And the rest were Legacy . Yes they sold but only cause parents did not the difference in versions. And to keep their children silent.

Well its fantastic news. However remember EA released one great version and the rest afterwards were Legacy Editions. Let's wait and see if EA does the same again.

EA don't make Nintendo games. Except for FIFA the Remake.

Not surprised at FIFA on PC and Console as its very good. Wonder what sales are like on FIFA switch. I bet high because parents who don't know video games can't tell the difference.

Gobsmacked they have finally given in and allowed Call of Duty. I want to see Splinter cell, Rainbow Six and even Grand Theft Auto

Great now we need Nintendo to release new more powerful Hardware to run it.

2K sports at least tries. It begs the Question why EA Sports can't do the same.

They say sales are low but there only low as people get fed up of being treated like second rate gamers.

@PINKSTER007 Yes because parents will buy for there own Children. At least EA has been Honest this time in telling certain features are for PC and Next Gen.

Normally EA gives information and you will think its the same on every platform.

Why does EA release games on Nintendo. It never does a good job. Every time Nintendo release a new Console. EA promises nearly EA game on Nintendo hardware. Then after the first release its legacy or does not come to Nintendo Consoles.

The Sony PS Vita was the same. First FIFA great then legacy afterwards.

Its a shame Konami before EFootball never released its version on Switch or 2K never made an Soccer(Football) game.

I hope to see new games but not Mario related. I like Mario but Mario games are becoming tiresome. And we need to see new IP from Nintendo.

I also hope we hear more about the Switch successor as Nintendo really need to do address this .

However i would like to see a Switch Pro in the form of a traditional console. Same as XBOX Series S.

As long as its backwards compatibility with games. Then its cool.

Nintendo could solve the Problem and Make a football. There rich company could even buy a FIFA pro licence. So there game has all the names.

Nintendo would make a lot of money. Plus hire people form Konami Pro Evolution soccer series. AKA Seabass
