Re: Review: Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle - An Expansion With Real Depth And Some Odd Decisions

i traded my original copy in since I could get the value back at the same price I bought it.

That DLC add on price is over 3/4 of the price of the retail version if you buy the Final Battle bundle together here in Australia. I was honestly shocked how they could price the add on like that.

At worst it should have been less than half the price of the retail bundle.

It's $75 AUD for the expansion by itself if you own the original AOT 2. A retail copy with it bundled from JB Hifi is $89 AUD.

Re: Into The Breach - The Turn-Based Pacific Rim Simulator You've Always Wanted

I lost an entire evening playing this little gem. Well worth the price I say and I like the aesthetics, reminds me of the earlier Front Mission models on the grid.

Don't mind the random nature of the missions, just like Xcom missions, randomly placed enemies. Not sure it's right to call anything with a random nature a roguelite, seems almost just to be used like a slur or negative aspect of a game these days.

@DockEllisD

I don't think they need to mention that Castle Storm is free to play on iOS because the Steam version came out before it which would make it the original version.

I don’t trust NWR either having read their reviews. They let their personal bias infect their reviews, docking points for genres of music they don’t like and the such.

Re: Wizard Of Legend Celebrates 500,000 Sales With Magical Update And Discount

@Ralek85

The framedrops occured when there was heavy use of fire traps or a particular spell that one of the bosses had. I found it was linked to the screen shake, which could be disabled.

Apart from that there was a case of micro stuttering due to a memory leak which was easily remedied by closing the game and restarting it after a couple of hours.

Since the patch has just dropped it could have fixed up a bunch of those issues, I haven't tested it out since the patch dropped but it's still a ripping good game.

Re: NIS America Outlines The Patch Plans For Ys VIII

Dunan

I hate how NISA treats a lot of the games they release. Usually got some major problems leading to game ending crashes.

Ar Tonelica 2 was one I'll never forgot, untranslated text, a hard crash at a boss fight that someone from the public actually managed to fix.

This didn't start today with NISA, this goes all the way back to PS2 generation games and that's not even counting how badly they translate all the games they've handled.

Wish they didn't take this from XSeed as they show so much more care and love for Ys.

Read a couple reviews myself. This review doesn't reflect a score of 7 in my opinion.

Some other reviews complained of too many choices. God forbid that they have a choice when it easily could have been nothing to choose from.

Complaining for the sake of complaining or lowering scores for no valid reasons really devalue reviews.

Re: Review: Neon Chrome (Switch eShop)

For those of you who have Neon Chrome, how is it like in Handheld?

I only ask because I was looking at some screenshots from the eshop and it seemed to strain my eyes.

Re: Review: DEEMO (Switch eShop)

Dunan

@Agramonte Well that's true but if you do like the majority of what's in the packs overall it'll still end up cheaper.

Obviously if you don't like the majority of the song packs you're not going to buy them or see the worth in them then getting it on a mobile platform might be the better preference.

Re: Review: DEEMO (Switch eShop)

Dunan

@Agramonte By the time you buy either the historical pack + 4 packs or 7 of the song packs, you've basically just paid the same amount that it'd cost for the switch version.

There's like 30 odd song packs on the ios version.
