Seriously, the trailer don't show much, but I can't help but feel a distinct Jeanne d'Arc-esque vibe in it...

Napoleon didn't really take much part in the revolution itself as much as he ended it by seizing the opportunity of a France in chaos... But the real revolution also featured a lot fewer miniskirts, so I don't think they were aiming for particular accuracy
Sounds interesting and it's not set in a generic jRPG fantasy world, so that's good. Waiting for reviews.

Looks promising. I love tactical rpgs with political storylines. I miss Tactics ogre and FF Tactics with the dark political storyline of theirs.

Still trying to work out who the developer is. That would have been handy information - I like to know the pedigree for these long-form single-player experiences. Looks like CE-Asia is the publisher, but that doesn't tell me much about the dev.

I'd prefer a Final Fantasy Tactics game, it gives more options for different races, classes and magic...but I'll take this in the interim, even with the obvious groan-worthy boob obsession.

Can't help but feel that it was a pretty empty trailer, it was sort of like advertising for a mobile game.

Was hoping to see some character models on those maps they were flashing around.

Tactical RPGs are really on a roll this year.

Those who have played these kinds of games know what they're getting into, but it's really tiresome to see game trailers that don't actually show gameplay. Stop trying to be movie makers, game devs...use your unique strengths to sell your products.

Marie Antoinette.... is dead.
I understand this is not meant to be historically accurate but Marie Antoinette was holed up in Versailles for pretty much the whole revolution, especially when the peasants revolted and took her and her husband to Paris due to the lack of bread. Then they tried to run away but were caught, which lead to both of their executions. I don't see a time when she could play Fire Emblem in the streets of Paris.

Got to love the zoom in zoom out shots that start on the boobs for the female characters but the face for the males, with the exception of our heroine. 🙄🤣 Not sure that’s really telling us much about the gameplay, but funny advertising none the less.

I will wait to see more. I jumped on Mercenaries Saga and was disappointed as it just felt like Disgaea "the boring version". I might just hold off for those Disgaea ports coming up this fall, unless this game comes out first and reviews really well.

I never say no outright when boobs and military tactics are involved.

Only reason I would get this is to fill the void that was left when I beat Stella Glow. And yeah what’s with the boob shots? Showing them first/front and center is kind of like... backwards thinking? Anyway, looks like this thing is oozing quality otherwise. I’ll watch its progress.
Really want to see some gameplay instead of this teaser stuff.

@neufel Actually, it's arguably (reasonably) historically accurate. The necklines of French dresses for the rich and sophisticated of that time often dipped down nearly to the nipples, and Marie Antionette in particular was kind of famous for her exposed cleavage.

Plus, dood, who doesn't like boobs?

Seriously, though, I love tactical RPGs, but I'll likely wait for some reviews on this one. As with many trailers, not enough gameplay.

@kirbygirl Yeah I'm french and I've got no quarrel with costumes (or with inaccuracies, or I wouldn't play jp games with european stories !).
It's just the editing of the video that's... yeah. A bit sad. The worst part is that nothing else makes me think that the game will be filled with fan service. Just that weird on-the-nose (or should I say on-the-boobs) editing.

It is loosely based on the French revolution, so there is hope.

I hope it uses a Tactics Ogre style battle system (the original) rather than a FFT style. I enjoyed the relative simplicity of the player facing mechanics of the original--without the hordes of skills to worry about, just stats, classes, a few spells, and items.

This looks good but I have to say the fan service in that trailer was completely unnecessary. How am I supposed to take your ad seriously if you when the first thing I see is cleavage?

...Waste of time, most interesting parts were the bewbs...and even those parts were boring. lol

So there’s breasts and maps. Cool. I’ll check to see if it’s good when it launches. The premise seems cool and the art looks nice but close-up breast shots in trailers and games are so freaking condescending. I’m not into women so this doesn’t pull me in in the way they think.
